Is Chris Jericho not coming back?

Well, I was reading an article yesterday either on here or on Twitter (quite possibly twitter) talking about Jericho. The article, talking about a radio show Jericho was appearing on, refered to him as an 'ex-WWE wrestler'.

I was pretty shocked and saddened to read that, and I wouldn't think Jericho would just fade out of the WWE. I was expecting him to return in a few months or so, but I haven't really heard anything with hope in it.

Any thoughts on this?
And will he return, if so how approx how long is he taking off?

I really would not worry about a thing. Jericho is just doing other projects for the time being. He's been on other shows and doing appearances and still singing the praises of WWE. He's free to pursue other endeavors as he wishes right now. The Dancing With The Stars gig is one of those. I am quite excited to see how this will work out for him. I think this would be great to see him do the foxtrot, the samba, the tango, and maybe that little Jericho jig he used to do in the ring.

I really would not pay attention to those things that say that he's not coming back. Until he says it himself, then its all just hearsay. No one knows how long he'll be off for. He's never said in his interviews, and plus with the DWTS show, it depends on if he's kicked off first, or makes it to the end as well. So, I'm rooting for the Ayatollah of Rock N Rollah. I am not worried, I think this is just a break for him, I think people shouldn't get so freaked out.

There was something on the front page of WZ not to long ago where Jericho mentioned that a contract with WWE was about 90% complete if I'm not mistaken.

Since he's apparently appearing on dancing with the stars I would expect him to make his return after hes done with that. I have no doubt in my mind he will be back at some point, so we'll have to wait a bit longer. Jericho will be back though.

He will come back. Every interview he gives he says that he will come back when the time is right.

Now, hopefully when he does come back he can get back into shape. Dude has been out of shape and pudgy for quite some time now.

With the way he still talks highly about the WWE and with them promoting his book, I see him returning after he takes some time off to recharge his batteries.

Y2J is just going after other interests. He'll be back in WWE before Summer Slam most likly.

Because hes on Dancing with the Stars I might watch it for the first time since season one

I'm sure he will be back soon. He has a lot of other things going on that he can take advantage of and get paid for. I can see him doing this from time to time until he officially retires a few years down the road. His retirement won't come as soon as everyone thinks, I think he will linger for a few years and stay relevant, while doing other things at the same time.

Y2J will be back and he is coming back for Orton. I hope Y2J turns out to be the RAW GM also, he can take that role to a whole other level. I think he has a solid 3 to 5 years left in him.

He'll be back for a final run. He's just doing some other things right now. Jericho always was a guy that liked to do a little bit of everything in and out of the WWE.

I mean the guy has written 2 books, toured with his band, recorded with his band, hosted a game show (albeit... short), and will be dancing with the stars. There's probably more things there that he's done, but I'm not researching them all. He'll be back. Don't get your panties in a bunch. He will return... a-gain.

He is coming back. The man was one of the hardest workers for the business on a week to week basis. Let him have a 5-7 month vacation, it is all building up to a feud with Orton when he returns.

Him being the GM makes sense in a way, he had a feud with Edge, same with the Raw GM. But Jericho has been in person when the GM sent out Emails to Cole so I don't think so.

He probably wont be back until at least after this season of Dancing with the Star's.Depending how long he makes it it at least.Seen tonight on a preview of this coming season that Jericho is in fact confirmed for it.Perhaps afterwards he will return to the WWE.Will be a good promotional event for his book too having both WWE and that show promoting it with all the people that watch DWTS.

Undoubtedly he will eventually return for last one run with the WWE. But the question is what does he have left to prove, he has accomplished everything there is to accomplish in pro wrestling, he is a modern day Ric Flair (in ring talent, and Mic skill). Why put his body through tatters when he can do other things. Im not saying i wouldn't enjoy Jericho returning, but he really doesn't need to return is all im saying.

Jericho has said himself that he will be back, it's just a question of timing. I hope it's sometime this year, before summerslam. I think that WWE misses the master of the ARMBAR!
