The much anticipated PS3 exclusive is finally upon us. Shock! Horror! It's actually a good game. I can say that from personal experience and the 89/100 rating on Metacritic.
However, am I the only one disappointed? I mean, yea, it's a solid game but I want more than a solid game. It takes bits from other games (well, Gears Of War and Tomb Raider) but doesn't outdo them, but "mellows them out" for want of a better term. The combat's never nearly as satisfying as that of Gears and the "raidin'" is never as deep as that of Tomb Raider. The much-hailed graphics aren't even as good as games such as Assassin's Creed, Gears Of War or Call Of Duty 4. OK, so he gets wet when he goes into water, so what? The water effects aren't even that good, IMO.
