It's a big night for the boys from Pride. Three legends step into the cage and only 2 can walk out winners. And, it may be a final farewell for some of these guys tonight. Hopefully not, it's weird to think how long Wandy, Hendo and Shogun have been around but it could be their last walk to the cage.
Shogun vs. Hendo is sure to be a throwdown. This fight should have happened in Pride, but never materialized. I don't think either guy is looking for anything less then a KO. Shogun is quicker and way more accurate though. Unfortunately I think Hendo will be going night night.
Brian Bowles vs. Urijah Faber will effectively set up the next challenger for Dominick Cruz. Both guys are quick and strong. Faber is the better wrestler but Bowles is the better striker. I have actually begun to favor Bowles a little bit more and think he may pick up the KO win tonight, ala Mike Brown did.
Wandy vs. Cung Le is another brawl in the making. Both guys are heavy handed and love to throw. I hope to God Wandy pulls of the win, because I don't like Cung. I want to see him get knocked the fuck out like in his fight with Scott Smith. Make it happen Wandy.
Rick Story looks to bounce back from a loss, whereas Kampmann is trying to stay relevant. Kampmann has kind of hit hard times as of late and hasn't picked up the decision wins he should have. Hopefully Story doesn't man handle him, I don't think he will, but Story is very strong. Should be a solid fight.
Bonnar vs. KK should be a war. I expect nothing less when Bonnar is in a fight. Can't wait to see what happens.
The undercard is pretty solid with my boys Filthy Tom Lawlor and Gleison Tibau anchoring it. Hopefully both guys pick up wins tonight.
Should be a great and show and a lot of fun. Hope you guys enjoy.
