Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
This match was announced tonight.

Apparently TNA is trying to bring back the fire that happened when this match happened more than 4 years ago. AJ gets his chance to look strong, working against two very viable competitors, and Daniels gets a chance to shine again. Samoa Joe will hopefully prove he still has "it", and prove he belongs in the main event again.

I'm excited for this match, although it's almost a sure thing AJ leaves with the belt.

I don't really understand the set up for this match....Joe and Daniels both basically come off losses.....and now they get a title shot? O.o

Daniels was the star of the Ultimate X match, whether he won or not. He's been doing well on Impact lately, and is really only lacking character. Joe is coming off a loss, but he did just choke out Lashley recently. They're technically all tied up record-wise. Joe is probably the reason that match Sunday looked so good. I'm still not buying Lashley pulling that off on his own.

Also, how strong will AJ look when he walks out with a win over them?

Although that's a good question, frankly I just don't give a fuck. Any reason to get these three men into the same ring again, especially in the main event of a PPV, is good enough for me. Their triple threat match at Unbreakable 2005 remains one of my favorite matches ever, and possibly the greatest triple threat match I've ever seen.

From the second I heard about this match, a huge grin just came across my face. Yeah, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels both aren't as good as they were four years ago, but they can both still work their asses off damnit, and you throw in someone they've got as much chemistry with as AJ Styles, and we've got ourselves a classic main event in the making. I really think this could end up being a Match of the Year candidate here.

Yeah, I know I'm hyping this match up a bit. I don't really care, I'm legitimately excited to see this match. It's scary how much momentum TNA has been pulling together in recent weeks, Impact has become one hell of a good wrestling show lately.

I'd just about bet my left leg that AJ retains here. It's obvious what TNA wants to do here---try to relive the glory of their Unbreakable match, and keep the belt on AJ. This is a great way to do both.

Really, really, really looking forward to this match.

Of course fans of historic TNA match-ups and the internet fans are going to love this one. Yet from a booking perspective, I have to say it comes somewhat out of right field. Both Joe and Daniels are basically on a losing streak -- yet they're rewarded with a World title shot at the next pay-per-view? It just isn't logical.

As someone already said, they're willing to overlook this fact because the match is going to (likely) be incredible. However, if it was any two other competitors who had been booked similarly, then given a shot at the title, people would clearly have bitched.

Turning Point is looking bad ass! If the expect Nigel vs Angle Match takes place here along with this I will buy this PPV :) AJ will retain but this beats the pants off past TNA WT Matches this year. The 1st time these 3 Wrestled in TNA it was amazing and a instant classic, the 2nd time was at I believe Against All Odds 2006 and it was very good but not quite what Unbreakable was. Funny thing is that was the last TNA PPV I got except for B4G which just took place. I kinda chuckled when Daniels forgot to mention this is Joe/Daniels/Styles III and not II though.

This is exactly the kind of thing AJ needs. It's about as clear as you can imagine that he'll leave with the belt, but he'll be able to put on a great performance and get very close to losing yet still pull it off. That's how you build a champion up: you have him defend in great matches and hold the title. By putting him in there with two guys, it helps to ensure that this will be solid, and considering who's in there, this is going to be difficult to screw up. The beauty for three way matches are if either Joe or Daniels are off, the other can pick up the slack. There's no bad combination here, so this is going to be great.

Personally I cannot wait for this match. I love AJ, think Joe is good, and Daniels can take some good bumps so I'm excited. All 3 have proven time and time again that they have good chemistry together, and put on great matches, so I don't expect any different.

I do feel that they hype might be to hard to live up to. Their match years ago at No Surrender was amazing, and I don't know if they will be able to top that. But it should be a great match, AJ will win(hopefully), and this gives the die hard Original TNA fans(and the "WWE reject" haters)something to be happy about.

I really cannot wait for this match, if the previous matches are anything to go by this match will be fantastic, can't wait to see Daniels and AJ go at it plus with Joe added it'll be even better as long as he can go back to his old ways and perform fantastic. AJ will obviously win here but it'll prove he deserves to be a world champion. This match will be fanatastic, i cannot wait :D.

When this match was announced, I marked the fuck out. For those of you who don't know, these 3 competed for the X division title back at Unbreakable 2005. That was the only X Division match to ever main event a ppv, and boy was it deserving. Many, myself included, think of this as TNA's greatest match. It was truly a classic. It had the build up, the story, and the incredible action. But now, it's being repeated, this time for the big one, the world title.

Now, before I begin, Let's play devil's advocate. I fully question as to why this is going ahead, storyline wise. Now, I'm not complaining. I'm fucking excited. But why was Daniels included. He just lost an X division title challenge. He hasn't done anything of note since he challenged (and lost) to Samoa Joe. Does he deserve to be in the Heavyweight title picture? Hell, Does he even deserve to be in the Legends title picture? The answer is no. He has no reason to be in this match other than because of the awesomeness of their match at Unbreakable. Sure, TNA should aways try and put on the best matches possible, but they also have to make sense.

Why is Joe being considered in the World title picture? He just lost a match at Bound for Glory to Bobby Lashley. Why isn't Bobby being considered in the title picture? Surely, he must be taken into consideration after being Joe, who is getting a title shot. Continuity please.

Anyway, back to how incredibly excited I am for this match. If this even touches upon Unbreakable's brilliance, it will be a great match. These 3 have such great chemistry, whether it be by working with or against each other, they work brilliantly. The potential of Daniels and AJ double teaming Joe is quite high.

However the build up is quite different. This time, the face goes in as the champion, and yet again it's AJ Styles as the baby face, except this time he has the strap. Samoa Joe is a full out heel, while Daniels is probably going in as a tweener leaning face. Him and Joe have swapped roles. Daniels will be AJ's friend, but still wanting to win. And Joe's going to be the vicious cunt he is. It's going to make for some interesting build up.

However, I think that with this bald person attacking AJ Styles, and everyone expecting Daniels, he could end up leaning towrds heel, even if he didn't do it. Daniels could deny it, claim it wasn't him, and end up getting pissed off. Or it could be him and he'll go full heel and end their friendship.

The only bad thing about this match iss that it's pretty obvious who's walking out with the title. Daniels isn't anywhere near ready for the big title, and Joe has otten worse since his reign. To be honest, neither deserves it at all. And AJ is only into his reign. Apparently he's been complaining about being booked weak, and if he loses, it will be the final straw. So while it might be phenomenal, The phenomenal one is almost definitely leaving as the champion.

Prediction: AJ Retains

their first match was the greatest piece of ring work i've ever seen. yes i said it! EVER SEEN. everyone say bret and shawn ironman match is the best ever. well screw you guys cuz this topped it imo. yea i pretty much do not understand how this match came about. joe and daniels are no where near being in the title picture. but outta nowhere tna puts them in a world title match after they both lost the sunday before....pretty stupid booking but hey im not gonna complain. cuz this match should be a classic. and yes we all kno aj is winning this one.

I agree-Their first match may be the best match i've ever seen. I think all three stand to benefit here. AJ, obviously, by beating Daniels and Joe, makes himself look great, Joe can show that he still has what it takes to please the fickle "indy" crowds, or, the IWC, and Daniels can finally take that big step towards being a Main eventer.

I fully expect AJ to retain here, but i believe that either of the other two could win and make it seem credible. If Daniels wins, it makes him look like a brilliant new face in the main event scene, if Joe wins, then he could be returning to form.

Add this match to the potential Nigel vs. Angle match, and you get me very excited for this PPV.

If it were a perfect world we'd also see the Guns pick up a set of tag team titles (hopefully the TNA tag team titles.) and D'Angelo Dinero and Amazing Red could put on an awesome X Division match, culminating in Dinero picking up the belt.

I could give a damn how the two contenders got selected to vie for AJ's title. It will take nothing away from the awesome match these three will put on at Turning Point. While I don't think they will live up to the high standard they set for themselves at Unbreakable, the match will be badass nonetheless.

And while it may not happen, I think this can help Daniels become a World title contender. He could grow frustrated with AJ's doubts of his stance and go full blown heel. The two can also have some tremendous one-on-one matches as everyone knows. Just a thought...but who knows what the World title picture will look like, with the whole Hogan hoopla and all.

It's simple booking, but they're milking it for everything it's worth, giving us one hell of a build up. Joe is looking like a mastermind, and is cutting good promos again, while Daniels finally gets to fall into that tweener role, simply because no one knows the truth.

AJ is still making his weekly appearances, and doesn't even have to step in the ring. This lets him come out at Turning Point with a whole new fire, and hopefully cementing himself as the champ in TNA.

This should be awesome. I've seen it said elsewhere that this is exactly what TNA needs. Four years ago, these guys closed the show and proved the kind of value that they and their division had to TNA. Now for years later, they close the show and prove they belong in the main event and why they're worthy of top billing in the house Hogan's coming to. This is a huge proving ground for these guys considering some of the talking up TNA's getting, and even though it'll be hard to match the Unbreakable match, I really hope these guys create some buzz.

AJ retains in a match with serious heat between AJ and Daniels.

This should be a great match. Everyone wants to know who’s AJ’s mystery attacker. It’s really adding a lot of mystique to this match. I also like how Joe is playing devil’s advocate between Daniels and AJ. In the end, I hope AJ walks away with the belt. He had a great win at BFG, and needs to establish himself as the champion, and have a good reign. It’s also good to see Joe back in the main event. He’s been a role lately.

This could be just as good as their first match. They could be given total control over it and go out there and put on a clinic.
But.... I've got this nagging feeling that it won't be that great. I'm not sure why... Usually rematches with this much build up do deliver. But this TNA, where things rarely live up to the hype. I feel there's gonna be some kinda interference or needless booking that might ruin it.
But I'm gonna ignore that little doubt I have and be optimistic. Here's hoping we get another classic.

I'm really hoping this match is like their Destination X match from a few years back. I have a feeling that it may very well be up to par with it at least. However, I believe this attacker with either take out AJ before or during the match, and AJ will either be booked to still make the match and somehow win it or my guess he'll lose it to Daniels to cause a storyline between them. Daniels would win the belt, and then AJ would accuse him of taking him out and making him weak so he could win and have the spotlight, thus turning the face of the company heel. It would be stupid but I could see TNA doing this to him. Either that or his attacker will come out after the match, reveal himself as Tomko and take him out again where Daniels will try to make the save and Joe will take him out too.

Those are just stupid rambling predictions. Either way I am looking forward to what should hopefuly be an excellent match between these three. I am really hoping that Joe will show that he's still got his old self kicking around in there.

The build to this is just stellar. The opening segment pushed Daniels into tweener territory, and the non-match worked to build up Joe as the monster he used to be. If they had left it there, it would have been more than enough. But no!

We got thematch eventually, and Styles pulled off a nice win. Joe played a good ref for the match, and then ended up attacking AJ afterwards. Everything is falling into place, and everyone that bitched about not having a build for this match can quit it. It's looking huge...

I think the build up to this match has been bad. There is no real heat between the wrestlers.

Daniels was recently competing for the X Division title at the last ppv and Samoa Joe was feuding with Lashley in an MMA type match and now these three suddenly are all drawn together? poor booking as this feud should have had major build up behind it seeing as it is a rematch of the only ever X Division main event in TNA history and the best TNA match ever from 4 years ago. Jarrett would probably not ok this main event so it looks great on paper and i'd expect AJ Styles to retain and maybe go onto face Hulk Hogan. It could happen.

MODERATOR'S EDIT: Edited for spoilers.

When they booked the match, it didn't need a story. It was just cool enough to see the three step in the ring again. Anything we've gotten as far as storyline lately has all been gravy. It's worked to give Daniels a little character, and it's made Joe an even better heel. This will all work to make AJ look even better when he retains.

I started a thread and got ripped because I said Daniels has no chance of winning this. Saying that, I agree with NSL, the build up has been stunning. The three of them have their clearly defined heel/tweener/face roles, which helps a lot too.

The promos, especially from Daniels, who IMO has carried them (being the tweener, it's to be expected) and he has done an awesome job of standing up to Joe and AJ.

I'm so excited for this match. Any combination of these three find it impossible to put on a bad match so a repeat of the Unbreakable three way is going to be great.

And then there is the mystery attacker. I hope they book it correctly and don't fuck it up.

Anyone else get the feeling that Daniels and Joe are working together, and maybe even hired the man who attacked AJ? The main event all seemed a bit too much with Daniels hopping up on the ring apron just in time to cost AJ the match. Daniels didn't try to "save" AJ after he blacked out to the RNC, and Joe didn't seem all that willing to chase down Daniels either.

This has been given a great build-up, and I'm anxious to see where it leads. Joe looks strongest going into the match, making it all the more likely that AJ retains.

wow... 0.O IDK how Daniels gets a shot, I mean Somoa Joe was kinda cheated out of the x division title, so he deserves it. but daniels???????? I think that at turning point, if desmond beats kurt, desmond shud go 4 the title. Somoa Joe is cool, but needs to know his limits

I highly doubt this will be as good as the first one, but it should still be awesome. AJ is still at the top of his game, Daniels has bee great lately, and Joe has been decent despite weighing 3 tons. The buildup has been solid as well, all 3 members of this match hate each other at this point, which is a good thing. I'm thinking the mystery attacker plays some sort of role in this, not sure what. I swear, if TNA pulls a CM Punk and knocks AJ out before the match starts, I'll be pissed. They aren't that stupid though, are they?
