I'm not gonna bitch that Edge didn't win, but it would have done more for Edge to win than it will do for The Undertaker to win. Let me explain.

If Edge would have won, he would go down even more so, as a HUGE player in this business. He would have ruined The Undertaker's return, defeated The Deadman at his own game. It could have led to a sick, sadistic Edge that he could play really well. Beating someone like The Undertaker would have given his carrear a big boost and could have catapulted him to the WWE Title. A new Edge taking over so to speak.

With The Undertaker winning, it does give him a boost indeed, but it just seems like another win. Granted, it was in HIAC, but it just seems like "OK he won, now he'll move on". He won't mention that match much, even though it was badass. I just see Taker going for the title, like he could have done even if he lost.

It's pretty obvious that Edge is going to be off for a while now. Can't have him showing up on tv so soon after what happened to him last night. When he does return, it will be to exact revenge one way or another. If he stays on Smackdown, he will now doubt go after Vickie and La Familia, blaming them for his hell ride at Summerlsam. It seems to me thought that they are trying to keep Vikie heel, so haing Edge go after her might not do that. The other option is him going over to Raw and getting his vengeance on CM Punk, they guy that started his downward spiral in the first place.

Either way, I hink we can all be glad Edge is a badass again. He wasn't the least bit afraid of Taker last night and looked happy to see him.

I am kinda upset edge lost at summerslam because where does he go from here? I like the he has developed into a jokeresce heel but still he won't go after the undertaker and deff not after la familia risking turning him face since i think the fans hate vickie more then edge. edge vs hhh should be saved for mania if you ask me. a feud with kennedy would be nice but he is injured

Edge buries Undertaker at ONS, taker takes time off, Edge carries the show for a couple months while Taker rests up, Summerslam Edge gets buried by returning and rested Taker, Edge takes time off, Undertaker carries the show.

Edge deserves a break.

As for Taker, Im hoping Triple H drops the belt to MVP at Unforgiven (with interference from Taker?) which should open up a feud with Undertaker AWAY from the belt. MVP can then get into a feud with jeff and Kennedy for the WWE Championship, which really should be the way they should be going with that belt. Its extremely BORING having HHH as champion.
