Today's Product Has The Best Jobbers

Porn is okay here long as it ain't dudes.
This is meant for General Wrestling but since we don't have that anymore I'll just post here.

To remain relevant in a time when excessive information is normal, I think we don't give enough credit to the guys who go out there and make a career out of being losers. People like Curt Hawkins still find work by just being the man who walks around with a cane and a poignant losing streak that's in the hundreds. Heath Slater is also quite popular among the diehards, with the all-too-relatable selling point of "I Have Kids!". As far as I'm concerned, Today's jobbers seem to have something truly remarkable that is being overlooked. In an age where our attention spans go to the wayside when wrestlers aren't tearing it up in the ring, these guys remain a big part of the show.

I am starting to think the classics like Brooklyn Brawler and Gillberg are no longer the standard for what a jobber can do. While Slater, Hawkins, Ellsworth, and R-Truth may not be on Raw each week, when they are around it does feel pretty special even if they're just there to pull backstage duty. These guys can work a mic and bust their ass to make others look good and right now I'd say they're the flag bearers of what a jobber can do.

What do you think: Are modern-day jobbers better than their predecessors?
