Degenerate Mizfit
This has been alluded to quite a bit in different threads, so I just decided to make a thread for it. Does anyone else notice that The X-Division...namely Sabin, Dutt and Jay Lethal, are turning into a DX type group? I mean, come on, the shopping caret stunt, the bowling ball, the Laxitive, the blow up doll? Not to mention...hs anyone seen the X Division shirt on sale thru tNAshop? I mean, come on. Not that I am complaining, I read in I believe it was PWI, that the guys in the X Dvision needed to show more personality, and even though their athleticism gets them over, they needed to look beyond that and get some personality, and you can tell with these three that it is definitely natural for them to be smartass ribbers. I may be burned at the proverbial stake for this, but I think it is a good thing, and hope we see more of it. Maybe they could officially form a faction called the Jackass Generation or some shit like that, and what a slap in the face it would be if Matt Bentley were to join! lol

For those who haven't seen the shirt, there is a link to it HERE

thats bull, WWE should sue, that shirt has DX written all over it with the generation and the X! This must be a joke!

It's no joke, but since we wanna broach gimmick infringment..."Undefeated Samoan Submission Machine" or Undefeated Samoan Bulldozer"?

There's a big difference between selling a shirt & a gimmick. personally i think it's ruining the x-division that's what i always enjoyed most about TNA.

OMG, i never notised that before, that is definitly copyright infrigment!

I don't think it's ruining the x-division. I think they do need to get some personality. The blow up doll was pretty stupid, but at least they didn't play it off like Senshi thought it was sabin. He wasn't looking until he was in the air and when he saw it, he just sorta landed.

I think they stand a chance of taking it to far, but they might be able to keep it under the bar of ridiculous...just no more blow up dolls.

The thing I do like about it though is it is capturing sonjay, lethal, and sabin's real life personas. Visit their myspace pages and see how they are in real life. This is them. Kidders, jokers, and ribbers.

X division stars do need more personality, but I don't think this is the way to go. Sonjay Dutt just looks like a real deusch bag when he tries to act funny. If it were just Sabin and Lethal acting that way, I'd be fine with it, but otherwise, no. Dutt just looks ridiculous. And don't ruin great matches with stunts like that last night with the blow up dolls. That was one of the best pure wrestling matches I've seen in a while, and they ruined it with that ridiculous ending.

To be honest I would not be surprised if this was entirely intentional by TNA, as a way to poke fun at DX. I mean we all know the humour in 30-40 Something year old guys sending "****s" to their boss, maybe when they were thinking up the stuff for the X Division they thought why not have a little fun at the WWE's expense at the same time. Now if Jim Cornette and Shane Douglas started running around doing the same stuff, I'd be buying me some TNA PPV's (not that I can in the UK).

isnt TNA doing some promotional stuff for Jackass 2? i see the banners along the ringmat...i think that Sabin, Lethal and Dutt are just trying to fit in with the "Jackass" attitude...i dont think it has anything at all to do with DX
