After the events that occurred at the Destination X super card, all eyes and ears were on TNA Wrestling’s Impact this week. Was there to be an official statement about Hogan and Bischoff. All the reports have stated that this is not a work, that the two big names have indeed left the company. So how does TNA follow up such a ppv? They stick to their guns it seems and produce another show that seems to be all about wrestling. An image of tonight’s main event pops up and it will be The Phenomenal One AJ Styles versus the Monster Abyss!

The show opens with the TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett waking out to the ring and informing everyone on what happened at Destination X on Sunday and the departure of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.

Here is the transcript of Jarrett’s promo.

Jeff Jarrett said:
“Thank you everyone, thank you.

I’m out here tonight to let you all know the state of TNA Wrestling and to let you all know about the events leading up to Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan resigning from TNA.

You see Samoa Joe was right, and all this time, and I’ve been too blind to see it. My vision for this company was to bring back wrestling. For wrestling to matter again, just like the spectacle it was when my Grandmother first showed it to me. When my Father showed it to me. The Unbreakable 3, guys I brought into this company, that have bled for this company, that do what they do for the fans of this company, punched a hole in the side of TNA and busted wide open what this company was supposed to be all about…..Pro-wrestling.

Here in TNA we have the very best wrestlers in the world full stop. And it’s time they we showcased them and what they can do. This past Sunday at Destination X, that locker room showed what they are capable of doing and that from here on will bring you total non-stop action. Starting tonight wins and losses count. Starting tonight, you want the title, then all you’ve got to do is beat the man sitting on top of you in the rankings. The best will face the best and that’s all there is to it.

Now because of this new direction, Mr. Hogan and Mr. Bischoff are not the right fit, and therefore we reached an agreement to part ways. And I would like to thank them for the opportunity of working with them. But today is a new day, and the X is the Destination we here at TNA are going to take you to… Now please allow me to introduce to you the new TNA Heavyweight Champion of the World, the Samoan Submission Machine. Samoa Joe!!!!”

Samoa Joe joins Jarrett in the ring with the very familiar gold TNA World Championship slung over his shoulder. Joe shakes Jarrett’s hand before holding the title up in the air to a huge reception from the TNA fans. He tells them that he was sick and tired of the politics and the BS. He says that TNA is about the best wrestling on the planet. As Champion he refuses to allow anyone in the company who will bring the standards down any more, and says “just ask Taz!”.

With that we get a shot at the three man announce team, Mike Tenay, Jeremy Borash and Don West. Joe says that the title will no longer be about power struggles but be about the best in the world taking on the best in the world. He then tells all the boys in the back to get ready because he is not like other World Champions with targets on their backs. He is the hunter and will forge his legacy by defending the title against those who truly deserve it. He then finishes up by saying he is Samoa Joe and he is pro-wrestling… His music plays and we go to commercial.

Match #1
Austin Aries, Masato Yoshino and Amazing Red vs. Kid Kash, Petey Williams and Homicide

The night’s action kicks off with amazing (pardon the pun) 6 man, X Division action. The blinding speed from Red and Yoshino is jaw dropping, while the “heels” bring awesome technical spots but also some real brutal and vicious stuff from Kash and ‘Cide! Aries though the ring general really stars and puts down Williams with a Brainbuster and then locks in the Horns of Aries to almost get a submission.

Kash breaks it up and looks for pile driver but Yoshino lightning fast, baseball slides into the back of his leg and Aries crashes down with the 450 Splash for the win!

Winners: Austin Aries, Masato Yoshino and Amazing Red
8:21

Just a wonderful fast paced little match from the X guys that put everyone in the match over. The heel team although they lost looked amazing and the crowd pops for the “face” team! They celebrate in the ring but Aries’ music is cut short and replaced by the X Division Champion’s. Frankie Kazarian steps into the ring and he has a mic. He looks them up and down and smirks. He slaps the belt that he has around his waist and waits for the fans to quiet down. Aries, Yoshino and Red stand eye to eye with him, and he nods approving before raising the microphone to his mouth.

But before he can say anything he is blasted from behind by Low Ki!!!! Like a rabid dog, Ki stares at the other men and they seem to be happy to leave the arrogant champion to his fate. Ki hits the Ki Krusher and then places the title belt on his chest. Low Ki climbs the ropes and as the fans boo him, with a primal scream brings down the brutal Warrior’s Way Double foot stomp! Ki poses over the fallen Champion snorting as Impact goes to another commercial.

The broadcast team bring us back from commercial talking about how explosive the show has been thus far and I have to agree with them. They also then go into what Joe said about the best facing off against the best and how Jarrett had emphasised this it filtering down through all matches.

Match #2
Rob Van Dam vs. Shawn Hernandez

These two men were beaten at Destination X and tonight are squaring off to get back into the title picture. This is a great direction for the company and it shows that wins and losses count, and that if you are to fight for the title you’ve got to earn it. Wrestling matters in TNA and it looks like wrestling fans are going to get some great match ups on Impact not just on pay per view such as this one.

RVD does his thumbs shtick but is pummeled from behind by the very angry and aggressive Shawn Hernandez. Big Dez is not just a powerhouse, but can do all the flying moves RVD can do, and every time Rob tries to hit one of his patterned moves the younger and hungrier big man puts him down!

Hernandez is relentless as he throws Rob all over the ring and bounces him off the top rope with a sit out powerbomb for a 2 count. RVD fires back with an explosive superkick and a split-legged moonsault for a 2 count of his own. But the two fight on the outside and each man attacks from the air flying over the ropes and inflicting big time damage.

Back in the ring Rob hits a leg sweep and then a Rolling Thunder and then looks for the 5 Star, but Shawn catches him with a low blow (which the ref doesn't see) and hits a top rope Super Border Toss for the win!

Winner: Shawn Hernandez
11:09

What a match these guys put on. Lots of high risk and high impact. This match could have gone either way and the finish was epic. They didn’t just put themselves over but by Dez winning it puts Pope over as well as after that match how do you beat Shawn Hernandez! Great stuff.

Speaking of the Pope, he’s backstage with Christy Hemme (looking hot) and he cuts a great promo on his ppv win and how he is in TNA to win the World title. He has a match tonight against another winner at Destination X, Desmond Wolfe. He says “the Cadillac of pro-wrasslin’ is going to roll on in and get da win, because Pope is pimpin’!”

Match #3
D’Angelo Dinero vs. Desmond Wolfe w/ Chelsea

Wolfe comes out first and cuts a promo on “da Poop” and how he is the superior wrestler to that “wannabe” and he’s in TNA to knock people out, get big fat pay cheques and prove he is the best in the industry. Wolfe says “If “wresslin’ mattas, then I’m going straight ta da top. It’s that easy!”

These two start off with some great chain wrestling until Pope is able to get the better of Wolfe delivering his leaping shoulder tackle. Wolfe then steps it up and starts delivering his own brand of brutal attacks, he sets the Pope up and knocks him down!

Dinero though fires back with his punch combo finished off with the Pimp Slap uppercut and then the Coronation to the delight of the fans. The leggy Chelsea on the outside adds a tiny distraction though that Wolfe takes full advantage of and delivers a vile Jawbreaker Lariat on the outside!

The ref counts and just gets back in the ring at the nine count as Wolfe continues his assault. The Pope’s comeback fuelled by the fans is awesome and he pulls down the knee pads to finish Wolfe with the DDExpress in the corner, but Chelsea seems to warn Desmond and he side steps the finisher hits the ropes and delivers the wicked Jawbreaker Lariat again this time for the three count!

Winner: Desmond Wolfe
12:32

What a match, TNA Impact continues to deliver. Once again could have gone either way, but Chelsea was the x factor that gave Wolfe that slight edge and he quickly caught Pope with that devastating clothesline. Great finish to a great match. Looks like we are clearly getting some contenders for Joe’s title. First Hernandez gets a win and now Wolfe. Both these guys would put on great matches with the Champion.

Backstage Christy Hemme is with the new TNA World Tag Team Champions, the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. The Champions hold up their titles to the camera and brag about defeating Beer Money at destination X to become Champs. They say that their “tag” of being the best tag team in the world can no longer be disputed because they are the holders of the belts.

But their interview is interrupted by the former champions Storm and Roode and the Guns tell them they are sore losers. Storm says he’s damn right they are sore losers especially since the Guns cheated and hit him in the back of the head with the title belts to win. But they then drop a bombshell on the champs saying they just finished speaking with Jarrett and next week, they get their ttile rematch live on Impact and sorry about their damn luck!

Beer Money walk off and Shelley says under his breathe “sorry about your damn face…” Storm walks back into the picture and yells “Did you say something?”. The Guns walk off as Storm swigs his beer and says “that’s what I thought!”

So next is the advertised match for Destination X that got changed at the last moment that we all get for free. Yeah we got it before at BFG 2008 but I think TNA is trying to rectify the mistakes of lost pushes and this maybe one of them.

Match #4
Matt Morgan vs. Kurt Angle

The powerhouse in Morgan was bumped from the pay per view. He comes out and expresses how disrespected he is and how it is all Jarrett’s fault because when he suddenly became back in charge he punished him for squashing him a few weeks ago in the ring. He tells Jarrett to watch his back because this 7 foot giant just might finish the job he started. This then brings out Angle who barely lost the fatal four way title match that is garnering a MOTY label.

Morgan dominates this match with his power. Angle though is Angle and gets back into it with a flurry of German suplexes and then of course looks for the Ankle Lock. But Morgan’s legs are too long and too big and he kicks off Kurt with ease. But Angle isn’t done and when Morgan misses the Carbon Footprint Kurt counters with the Olympic Slam and then the grapevine Ankle Lock for the submission win!

Winner: Kurt Angle
8:25

Angle grabs a mic after the match, he seems exhausted but happy he won the match. He then calls out Christopher Daniels!? Daniels’ music hits and out comes one of the Unbreakable 3 in a three piece suit. Angle says to Daniels that at Destination X, the Fallen Angle sucker punched him before the match and he’s calling him out right now.

Daniels tells Angle that first of all, he shouldn’t have been in that match as it was between the Unbreakable 3. Angle since he arrived has had the company handed to him on a plate. He may have agreed and taken Samoa Joe’s side, but he is not one of them. He didn’t deserve to be there and so the Fallen Angel took it upon himself to make that known. Daniels says he knows how good Angle is, but Angle has no idea how good Daniels is, and as good as the Olympic Hero is, he not on The Fallen Angel’s level.

He gets in Angle’s face and says ”you wanna call me out? Well I’m calling you out. I’m God’s gift to pro-wrestling and I’ll defeat your decorated amateur-hour ass any day of the week, chump!”

Angle can’t believe the disrespect, but it seems Daniels is the one who has been disrespected by TNA and guys like Angle and has a genuine beef. One which Joe had with Hogan and Hardy. Daniels then challenges Angle to a match at Lockdown, which Angle accepts. Wow, what an emotional and powerful segment! Daniels walks off leaving Angle in the ring.

Match #5
Hamada vs. Alissa Flash vs. ODB vs. Angelina Love w/ Velvet Sky

The Knockout’s Champion Tara is on commentary for this one, and really adds something as she gives great insight into the Knockouts competing in this four way match. These four are hard hitting and due to her Beautiful people partner Love hits the Botox Injection sidekick on ODB for the win.

Winner: Angelina Love
4:49

Love and Sky then bad mouth the Champ, as they walk back up the ramp and past the broadcast table. Tara takes off her headset and tells them to bring it on but the Beautiful People tell her to talk to the hand.

As we come back from commercial the commentary team talk about Lockdown and how every match is performed inside the six sides of steel and that this year will be brutal as wrestling matters again, and inside of a steel cage anything can happen.

Well it’s main event time and AJ and Abyss have always had great chemistry. Actually looking forward to this match as two originals are main eventing the show, should be a great match.

Main Event
AJ Styles vs. Abyss

These guys know each other very well and as predicted it’s a great showing from both guys. AJ is so smooth in the ring and Abyss is great at using his size and power to show how intimidating he is. Styles looks for the flipping reverse DDT, but Abyss thows him off and follows up with a big boot! AJ flips inside out making the move look extremely powerful and painful!

Styles though fights back into the match and escapes the Shock Treatment backbreaker and delivers the always impressive flying elbow strike off the ropes! AJ looks for the Styles Clash but Abyss powers out only to be caught by the Pele. Styles rolls to the apron and looks for a springboard but some guy in a suit grabs his leg stopping the move!

It’s James Mitchell! Mitchell is back in TNA and has stopped AJ from finishing off the Monster. AJ kicks him off but the distraction has bought Abyss the time to deliver a huge right hand sending AJ plummeting into the guard rail ribs first! Abyss pulls a table from underneath the ring and Mitchell is directing traffic. Abyss looks for the Chokelsam, but from out the back runs Daniels and Joe.

The Fallen Angel gets their first, runs up the steel steps and launches himself over the table to stop the chokeslam. But Daniels is hit the back of the head by Mitchell with his metal walking cane! Daniels grabs the back of his head and is chokeslammed by Abyss through the table!!!

The World Champion arrives and lays a brutal beating on Abyss as the referee calls for the bell.

No Contest declared
9:24

Mitchell looks to hit Joe with his cane, but Joe grabs it throws it away and pie faces Mitchell launching him off his feet and into the ring apron. Joe then turns his attention back to Abyss only to be hit in the back of the head by a steel chair!!! It’s Jeff Hardy!!!!

And here I thought he had gone when Hogan and Bischoff left! What a surprise!

Hardy tells Abyss to get up and throw Joe into the ring. Abyss complies and Hardy climbs up to the turnbuckles to a chorus of boos. Swanton Bomb!!!!

Hardy stands over the World Champion as Abyss and Mitchell join him as it looks like Immortal is not dead after all as they have put down the Unbreakable 3 to end the show.

-----------

Another wrestling show from TNA that really is trying to do away with complex takeovers and backstage politics storylines it seems. Hogan and Bischoff were to the most part swept under the rug, but maybe their whole run was an embarrassment to the company, I’m not sure, maybe just like Vince did with the nWo.

Hardy staying with the company is good for TNA as he is young and a big name in the industry and has been rejuvenated this year by his heel character. Giving him James Mitchell is a great move, as he needs someone to do his talking for him, and so does Abyss. This sinister little team will be a great force to combat the U3. Hardy wants his revenge on Joe, simple yet effective from TNA. And there was good solid wrestling once again from the promotion with the young guys going over most of the time.

TNA Impact returns this week continuing their post Hogan/Bischoff - Wrestling Matters era with Joe as their Champion and a big change to their rosters and their pushes. The latest episode keeps their direction moving forward.

Last week, Jeff Hardy “returned” and attacked Joe and the Unbreakable 3 by bringing in James Mitchell and keeping his alliance with the Monster Abyss. Many thought he left with Hogan and Bischoff, but the former World Champion attacked Joe with a steel chair and declared he wasn’t going anywhere.

TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett starts of the show by walking out to the ring and talks about Jeff Hardy, and what his status is with TNA. Jarrett says that when Hogan and Bischoff left the company so did Immortal, so did Flair and he thought so did Hardy.

But Hardy not only came back last week, he kept his alliance with Abyss and has got himself a manager. One of the slimiest, cunning and devious in the history of the industry, James Mitchell. Mitchell has been able to not only secure Hardy’s standing in TNA, but also his contracted rematch for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Jarrett is not happy about it and says at Lockdown it will be for the title, Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy. But if Hardy is with TNA and because wrestling matters, the fans will see James Mitchell’s clients in action tonight as Jeff Hardy and Abyss take on AJ Styles and World Champion Samoa Joe in the main event!

Matt Morgan interupts Jarrett and walked out and getting in the founder's face about Angle getting a title shot at Destination X, his match getting cancelled etc. Morgan tells Jarrett that he’s as bad as Bischoff, Hogan or whoever runs this place because he is biased. Jarrett tells Morgan that if he wants to fight for the title then he has to earn it like everyone else. And Jarrett gives him an opportunity right now.... “Matt Morgan you’re in a match, it’s next and its against this man...”

Out walks BOBBY LASHLEY!!!

Match #1
Matt Morgan vs. Bobby Lashley

Morgan is not happy as Jarrett smirks and rolls out of the ring as the fans give Lashley are roaring reception. Morgan snorts slaps himself in the face and prepares himself as the hulking Lashley steps into the ring. Morgan springs into action setting upon the big man, but Lashley covers up, ducks, weaves and hits the ropes and explodes with a big time lariat!

Morgan though gets back into the match and fires back with big time shots and the Carbon Footprint hitting its mark. But Lashley kicks out at two and muscles up to get back into the match. But Morgan dominates and trash talks the camera telling Jarrett he’s the man. But as Morgan looks for a Hellavator, Lashley counters it with a Guillotine Choke! Morgan struggles looking for the ropes but Lashley rips back on the hold and Morgan taps out.

Winner: Bobby Lashley
7:53

Morgan was livid, he slapped the mat in frustration and anger as the returning powerhouse Lashley celebrated his victory with the fans, soaking in the huge response. The big man has returned and staked his claim by beating the 7 footer in his re-debut on Impact. Morgan walks off and the camera mic picks up him saying “Jarrett will pay for this”.

The Unbreakable 3 are now shown walking into the arena together. Joe is basically ambushed by Christy Hemme asking about the title rematch that has been announced between himself and the Anti-Christ of Professional Wrestling Jeff Hardy. Daniels laughs and says he is the Fallen Angel, first it was Kurt Angle stealing his gimmick by coming out in suits and sunglasses and now its Hardy saying he’s basically the Fallen Angel, with this Anti-Christ rubbish. Daniels says all these so called names continue to copy him.

Styles calms him down as Joe smirks and tells Christy that of course he knows all about the rematch. He’s the Champ, and after what Hardy did last week he can’t wait to fight him and at Lockdown, inside the six sides of steel, Jeff Hardy is going to find out why people chant Joe is going to kill you. Joe says that Hardy should have left when he had the chance. Joe says he has already separated Hardy from the World title, now he will separate Hardy’s head from his shoulders…

Match #2
Sarita vs. Angelina Love w/Velvet Sky

TBP’s entrance once again sky rockets the ratings as they trash talk the Latina sensation. Sarita’s speed is staggering as she uses her lucha libre style to put down the wirey blonde. Angelina kicks out of several pinning combinations frustrating her to the pojt that Sarita has her down with a hurricanarana, and then goes up to the top rope for a high cross body. But in mid air Love connects with the Botox Injection kick and quickly covers Sarita for the victory.

Winner: Angelina Love
4:43

When we come back from commercial Christy is with Beer Money backstage who are ready for their rematch. Strong promo from the boys as they of course tell the Guns they are taking back their titles and sorry about their damn luck.

Jeremy Borash is then shown with the Champs Shelley and Sabin. The arrogant duo say that Beer Money have no chance of beating them, and they even scare themselves how good they are. The Guns are taking over the world and tonight the sore losers are going to be crying in their beer because the Guns plan on holding the tag titles forever as they are the best team in the world.

Match #3
World Tag Team Championship Match
Champions Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money Inc.

The chemistry between these two teams is amazing, as once again they put on a clinic. The former champs come out guns a blazing as they are filthy the Guns took the titles from them by cheating, as they fairly and respectfully gave them the title match in the first place.

The Guns are overpowered in the opening minutes as Beer Money want to teach them a lesson. But the Machine Guns are as good as they say they are and fire back with their lightning quick double team attacks.

But Beer Money are just too good and put down the Champs with their power advantage. They get the crowd behind them with the BEER MONEY call out to the fans, and look to finish. But Sabin grabs a title belt and throws it into the ring right in front of the referee. The ref is ready for this and makes sure what happened at Destination X doesn’t happen again.

He warns Sabin and removes the foreign object from the ring. But by doing this he turns his back and Sabin gets a low blow on Storm. He turns back and Sabin has the Cowboy rolled up. 1,2,3! The Champions retain the titles.

Winners and STILL World Tag Team Champions: MCMGs
14:37

Roode is irate and blows up at the ref, as the Guns are already half way up the ramp laughing at their challengers and holding up the belts in victory.

In the back Bobby Lashley is being interviewed by Christy Hemme. He says he is happy to be back and is going straight to the top. But Christopher Daniels in a suit walks past him, looks him up and down and scoffs as he walks off. Lashley looks confused at Daniels’ actions.

The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels makes his way out to the ring. He talks about all he and the Unbreakable 3 have done for the company. He covers all the match of the year candidates, all the blood, sweat and tears. How over the years the company took him for granted, and now the Unbreakable 3 have fought back. He says that last week Kurt Angle dared to call him out, over trying to win the World title when it was only his third ever opportunity to do so in TNA after being with the company since the very beginning.

Daniels says he knows how good Angle is, he knows how he puts butts in seats, but Angle not only doesn’t know how good Daniels is, he refuses to recognise it. Tonight he calls Angle out.

Angle walks to the ring and Daniels cuts him off immediately and says it’s his time to talk. He says Angle has had everything handed to him on a silver platter. He has had numerous title shots, and then he has the audacity to call him out and question him fighting for the Championship of the World at Destination X. He asks Angle if he was supposed to lay down in that match? Daniels tells Angle that at Lockdown he is going to embarrass Angle because the Fallen Angel has been in every single match ever conceived here in TNA and put on match of the year contenders in all of them. Angle is no match for him inside the six sides of steel or any professional wrestling situation. And that is gospel.

Angle calmly asks if he can speak now. Angle tells Daniels that he knows Daniels is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. But tells him at Lockdown, inside a steel cage, where there are no rope breaks, no disqualifications, he is going to snap his ankle whether he taps or not. “It’s real, it’s damn real.” Angle’s music hits and he walks off as Daniels shakes his head as if to say it’s not gong to happen. Daniels though raises the mic to his lips even though Angle’s music continues to play.

“Hey Angle, I’ll show you real…”, he drops the mic hits the ropes and suicide dives through the middle and top rope and delivers a forearm smash to Angle’s jaw!!! Daniels trash talks him as he raises his hands in victory as his music now plays as Impact goes to commercial.

Match #4
The Pope D’Angelo Dinero and Rob Van Dam vs. Desmond Wolfe and Shawn Hernandez

These four guys have been fighting it out to get to the top and become number one contender. Tonight they are in a tag match heels vs. faces. The Pope and RVD are both super over and Wolfe and Hernandez are just as jeered. These four guys put on a great match as they hit all their moves and fire up the crowd.

RVD hits a sabot kick on big Dez sending him into the corner. He then hits a monkey flip, which the Pope capitalises on with an elbow drop! Pope looks for the DDE, but as he runs in is almost decapitated by the Jaw Breaker Lariat! Wolfe though cops a flying somersault splash from Rob! Hurt, Wolfe rolls out of the ring to avoid being pinned and Rob turns, walking right into a scoop sit out powerbomb. 1..2.. Rob kicks out and Dez picks him up for the Border Toss only to be hit by a flying shoulder tackle from the Pope!

Pope hits his combo of punches and Rob mule kicks Dez and Pope finishes him with a Pimp Slap uppercut! 1…2… Wolfe makes the save, throws Rob to the floor but is dropkicked by Pope. But Pope is caught with a kick and then a Border Toss into the buckles! 1.2.3! The “heels” get the win in a very entertaining match up!

Winners: Desmond Wolfe and Shawn Hernandez
11:29

Rob is holding his head on the floor, while Pope is out. Wolfe celebrates with Chelsea and leaves ringside as big Shawn poses over the Pope who had beaten him at Destination X. The upper mid card for TNA is on a roll !!!

Backstage the X Division Champion Frankie Kazarian announces that at lockdown it wil be him and Low Ki locked in a cage for the title. He tells Ki, he’s not afraid of him, he can’t be intimidated and at lockdown he’ll show him that he is the best X Div wrestler in all the world once again.

Match #5
Low Ki vs. Masato Yoshino

Yoshino truly is the fastest wrestler ever seen in a wrestling ring. Known as “Speed Star” it’s hard to see where he is half the time. Low Ki though is able to bring him down with some violent chops and kicks. These two guys put on a show stealer as Yoshino hits his cannonball in the corner and then looks to finish Ki off with his Lightning Spiral (a fireman’s carry variation pile driver) but Ki kicks away and drives a double kick to his chest sending him crashing into the turnbuckles. Ki then delivers the Warriors Way double stomp for the win!

Winner: Low Ki
7:49

The fans are blown away at how fast this match was in the ring. Both men went all out to showcase their talents. It was a fun match for the time it got. Absolutely astonishing action! Low Ki gives the sign of the belt to finish the segment.

We are back from commercial and James Mitchell is interviewed backstage about what Jeff Hardy and the Monster Abyss are going to do tonight to the “breakable two-some”. At Lockdown Hardy will take back the World title and crush Joe’s lungs and ribs with the Swanton Bomb.

Main Event
World Champion Samoa Joe and AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy and Abyss

Another tag match. It looks like TNA are putting a lot of stock into tag team wrestling. Which is a great thing. Joe starts the match off and calls out Hardy but he refuses and Abyss is the man who starts for their team. Joe calls him a coward and the two big men try to beat each other down. Joe gets the upper hand and tags in Styles who blasts the Monster with dropkicks and flying forearm shots.

Abyss looks for the tag but Mitchell tells him to stay in the ring and absorb all the punishment. Joe and Styles make quick tags and put down the Monster, but every pin is kicked out of. Abyss catches a cross body from Styles and hits a fall away slam. Hardy blind tags in and puts the boots to him. Joe comes in but Abyss tackles him and takes the champ to the outside. The two behemoths then brawl all over ringside.

Styles though fights back and delivers a Pele. AJ then climbs the top rope and looks to finish him, but Mitchell pushes him off the top and Styles crash and burns. Hardy quickly climbs to the top rope and hits the Swanton Bomb! 1.2.3!

Winners: Jeff Hardy and Abyss
12:16

The bell rings and Hardy’s music plays as Joe is driving knee strikes into the skull of the Monster. He looks up to see Hardy getting his hand raised, and he jumps into the ring, as the Anti-Christ of Pro-wrestling slithers out of the ring avoiding Joe’s wrath. Hardy, Mitchell and Abyss raise their hands in victory (even though Abyss doesn’t really now where he is..) as Hardy tells Joe he’s getting his belt back!

-----------------------------

TNA continue their wrestling matters agenda with a three entertaining tag team matches(one of them a a title match), another return of a big name in Lashley, a showcase of what the X Division is all about and a super strong promo that could very well be a shoot from a TNA original. The wrestling continues to be delivered by TNA in their latest episode leading towards one of their biggest pay per views of the year, Lockdown.

WrestleZone reporter

new_tna_logo.jpg

One of TNA’s major ppvs, Lockdown is fast approaching and TNA continue to deliver their new Wrestling Matters credo on every show that put out. The ratings have soared and there has been nothing but positive reports about this new direction. The Hogan and Bischoff administration was never the right fit for TNA and ever since Joe’s shoot last month, the product being put forward has been exactly what’s on the marquee, Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling…

The latest episode of Impact! opens with the Sinister Minister, Father James Mitchell leading out Abyss to the ring. He gets on the mic and talks about how Jeff Hardy contacted him to ensure he not only wasn’t fired by the biased Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett but also retained his World title rematch. And he will also ensure at Lockdown Jeff hardy gets that title back. Mitchell then introduces the former Champion and crown jewel of the disbanded Immortal, Jeff Hardy.

Hardy walks out joins Abyss and Mitchell and tells Joe that he will destroy him at Lockdown and show him what a true superstar is all about. TNA management cannot hold him back thanks to his new manager. He says that Joe might think he’s a tough guy, but he is extreme and inside the six sides of steel he’s going to hit him with a Swanton Bomb, crush his ribs and make him cough up his lungs. In two weeks he will take back what is his, the Championship of the world.

Out walks the Unbreakable 3, who fear nobody and walk down the ramp and get into the ring. Joe scoffs at Hardy’s comments and tells him that destination X he severed Hardy from the title. At Lockdown, he’s going to sever Hardy’s head from his body. Inside the six sides of steel there is nowhere to run, no where to hide, and Joe is going to beat his brains into the mat. Joe is going to end Hardy’s career.

Styles takes the mic and says that last week, Mitchell got involved and Hardy pinned him in the main event tag match. Styles says he wont whine and cry about it, but what he will do is challenge Hardy one on one tonight! The crowd loves that!

Mitchell whispers in Hardy’s ear talking it over. The Unbreakable 3 and the fans jeer this, but hardy comes back and tells Styles he’s on, IF, Joe fights Abyss tonight also. Joe laughs and tells Hardy that his manager has just led him astray because tonight he’ll take out hardy’s only backup before Lockdown…

Match #1
The British Invasion vs. Beer Money Inc.

The Brits come out firing, but Beer Money are clearly on a mission. After they weather the storm, they fight back and use their double teams, get the crowd buzzing and finish off their opponents in quick time with the DUI!

Winners: Beer Money
5:53

Roode grabs a mic and calls out the Tag Champions the Machine Guns. Out walks the MCMGs who are sarcastically intrigued by what they have to say. Roode says that the Guns are gutless and can only win by cheating. He challenges them to one more match at Lockdown for the titles. Sabin is about to tell them to go to hell, but Shelley hijacks the mic and agrees straight away. Sabin is a bit confused by his partner’s move.

But Shelley says that it will be exactly what Roode wants one more match. WHEN he and Sabin beats them at Lockdown, that’s it for Beer Money, no more shots while they are champs. Not six months down the road when they win some #1 contender tag battle royale, not when you win some feast or fired case, not ever! “You want this match boys, then while we’re champs you chumps don’t get any more shots, comprende!?!”

Roode and Storm say they only need one more match against them as inside the cage there are no rules, just the way Beer Money likes it…

Backstage Knock Out Champion Tara cuts a promo on Angelina Love, calling her an anorexic be-atch, and inside the cage she’s going to use the wire to slice the make-up off her face. She talks about last time she was at Lockdown she defeated Awesome Kong, and asks the question, “Do you really think you have any chance against me Angelina?” She says she is going to snap her right in front of her Barbie doll friend.

Match #2
Bobby Lashley vs. Murphy w/ Gunner

The 6 foot 8 Murphy stomps down to the ring and sizes up to TNA’s newest signing. The ref gets in between them before the bell rings as Gunner tries to distract Lashley from the outside. They tie up and as big as Murphy is he is tossed to the otherside of the ring by the powerhouse Lashley! Murphy changes plans and ditches the wrestling and goes straight in with the brawling.

The two big bulls go at it and stand bashing each other. Murphy is able to use his size to gain an advantage but Lashley keeps countering. Lashley is thrown into the ropes and Murphy looks for the big boot, but it is ducked and the former body guard of Immortal turns straight into a spear! Lashley hits the Dominator and this one is over.

Winner: Bobby Lashley
4:09

Lashley is victorious and high fives the fans around ringside. Gunner checks on his team mate and trash talks Lashley, who looks back up at the ring and shakes his head. Lashley leaves the impact zone but is blasted in the face by the carbon Footprint!!!!!

The Blueprint Matt Morgan stands over Lashley and reads him the riot act. Lashley is out, and Morgan grabs a mic. He tells Jarrett that he will not be disrespected. He wants his title shot as he is the biggest and baddest here in TNA.

Officials come out to check on Lashley as Morgan walks off and TNA goes to a commercial. When we come back it’s an X Division high flying spectacle!

Match #3
Frankie Kazarian, Austin Aries and Masato Yoshino vs. Low Ki, Petey Williams and Kid Kash

Once again these X Division stars deliver as the main focus of the match is of course the rivalry between Frankie and Low Ki. Ki is vicious and hits some big time shots on his competitors. Petey is blurting out his anti-American propaganda while Kash is just vile, the crowd hates him and he revels in it. It’s a great match!

Finally amongst the chaos Aries has Ki down and is looking to hit the 450 Splash for the win, but Kazarian blind tags him and covers Ki. A frustrated Aries can’t believe it, while Ki kicks out at 2!

Aries hops down to the apron and questions Kazarian who arrogantly brushes him off but walks straight into a vicious roundhouse kick from Low Ki!!! 1.2.3!

Winners: Low Ki, Petey Williams and Kid Kash
8:37

Aries walks away pissed off as Yoshino asks what happened. Williams and Kash celebrate in the ring while Low Ki grabs the X Division title and places it on Kazarian’s chest and climbs the ropes. The crowd watch on as Low Ki blasts the champ with the Warrior’s Way double footstomp!!! Kazarian flips around like a fish out of water in pain as Low Ki intensely stands over him…

The commentary team is shown and they run through the card so far for the Lockdown pay per view. All matches will be inside the six sides of steel.

• X Division Champion Frankie Kazarian defends the title against Low Ki
• Just signed, the World Tag titles are on the line when the Machine Guns face Beer Money Inc, and if the former champs lose they don’t get anymore title shots.
• Knock Out’s Champion Tara faces off with Angelina Love
• X Division “Xcape” match – featuring Petey Williams, Homicide, Austin Aries, Masato Yoshino, Elix Skipper, Brian Kendrick, Kid Kash, Max and Jeremy Buck and the Amazing Red
• AJ Styles will be taking on the Monster Abyss
• Fatal Fourway #1 Contenders match for the World title featuring Desmond Wolfe vs. Shawn Hernandez vs. The Pope vs. Rob Van Dam
• The Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle takes on the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels
• And in the Main Event Samoa Joe will defend the World title against Jeff Hardy

The top of the hour match is a huge match up!

Match #4
AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy w/ James Mitchell

This is an epic match and one that many people would gladly pay money on ppv to see. Hardy pinned Styles last week in the tag match thanks to Mitchell’s interference and now Styles wants to get that win back. Hardy though is looking at sending Joe a message and goes after Styles.

Throughout the match, Hardy attacks Styles eyes, chokes him and really looks for any way to try and hurt the Phenomenal One. But AJ fight back and delivers his own brand of high flying. The two men fight in and above the ring as TNA showcases their best.

Hardy arrogantly hits his compactor but Styles kicks out. Hardy says to Mitchell “looks like he wants more”, and continues to use his body as a weapon. Styles fires back with forearm shots and the best dropkick in the business sending hardy to the floor.

The ref calls Hardy back into the ring, and Styles looks to go out after him, but the ref backs him up. While the ref’s back is turned, the camera picks up Mitchell handing Hardy something. Styles pushes the referee out of the way and launches himself with the amazing Frosbury Flop but as he crashes down on Hardy, he is struck behind the ear by the foreign object!

Both men are down and the ref has no choice but to make the count. Both men stir as the ref counts down…4..5..6..7.. Mitchell helps Hardy to his feet and he slides under the bottom rope… the ref restarts the count 1..2..3..4.. Styles desperately tries to get to his feet, he is out as Hardy catches his breathe on the inside 7…8..9..

Styles is in just in time!! SWANTON BOMB!!! 1.2.3.

Winner: Jeff Hardy
16:37

The opportunistic Hardy waited like a vulture for Styles to beat the count and as he rolled in, he delivered his brutal finisher. Mitchell is the difference again as Hardy spits on Styles and raises his arms in victory!

The next match has so many dynamics going into it, and it could very well be Jeff Jarrett stirring the pot.

Match #5
Matt Morgan and Scott Steiner vs. Christopher Daniels and Kurt Angle

Daniels and Angle during their entrances are shaking their heads at being booked to tag together. They argue about who is going to start the match, but Steiner is still livid from Daniels beating him last week makes the decision for them by attacking the Fallen Angel before the bell.

Steiner and Morgan tag in and out dominating Daniels. However when he does get some offence in he refuses to tag in Angle and wants to show him who is the better wrestler. Morgan brags about how is the best and also doesn’t tag in Steiner.

Eventually Angle tags himself into the match and explodes with German suplexes on Morgan. Daniels then tags himself in and hits a Blue Thunder driver on the 7 footer. Morgan looks for a tag, but Steiner gets the shits and walks off saying Morgan can do it by himself! Angle and Daniels then take turns in trying to one up the other by hitting Morgan with move after move!

Finally Daniels locks on the Koji Clutch. Angle breaks it up and locks on the Ankle Lock. Daniels breaks it up and the two argue, then they both apply their finishers, yelling at each other as they do. It’s quite a funny sequence.

Morgan squealing in pain finally taps out and both men try to claim the victory from the referee.

Winners: Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels
8:32

The two men continue to argue over who made Morgan submit, they push and shove until it turns into a brawl! Security comes down and has to separate them! Morgan I seen limping off and holding his neck cursing out Jarrett while all this is going on…

Backstage Mitchell cuts another promo saying that tonight the Monster is going to tenderize Joe for Hardy at Lockdown…

But the World Champion is also backstage and he says that tonight he slays the monster so he can put his head on a pike outside the six sides of steel at Lockdown. Joe is very graphic in his promos tonight…

Main Event
Non-title match
World Champion Samoa Joe vs. The Monster Abyss w/ Mitchell

These two men have faced off before but this rivalry has made the stakes even higher. The feud continues as these two mastodons beat each other to a pulp. But Joe is vicious and shows why he’s the Champion. He hits the face wash, he hits Abyss with a flying, spinning plancha from over the top rope to the floor, landing on his feet! He hits the Ole Ole kick slamming Abyss’ head into the gurad rail with his boot!

Joe is brutal and Abyss is a punching bag for most of the match. But Abyss fires back with his shock treatment backbreaker and looks for the Black Hole Slam, but Joe ducks coming off the ropes and hits a big time leg lariat. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch rear-naked choke, but on queue out runs Jeff Hardy. Joe can’t see him and Hardy hits a Swanton Bomb on both men, as the referee is forced to throw the match out.

Winner via DQ: Samoa Joe
11:14

Hardy grabs a chair, and when Joe gets to his feet his smashed by a vicious chair shot! Joe is busted open as Hardy grabs a mic:

“Joe! Look atchoo! You’re a bloody mess! I took out Styles and Daniels is too busy pushing out his chest at Angle to help you. You’re cut open now Joe! And I’m going to open you up at Lockdown, I’m going to bathe in your blood and I’m taking back my World Heavyweight Championship.”

Hardy stands over Joe as Mitchell gets in the ring and raises his hand as impact goes off the air for another week.

Jam's Review
Hey GS, stopped by to give you a review since no one has and hope you return the favor :D First, I've gotta say that even if your TNA PPV was written in recap, it was still quite entertaining. Well here's my comments on the latest show.

Having James Mitchell back as a manager for Jeff Hardy is genius. Not only do you give Hardy a credible mouthpiece, but you give him some muscle in Abyss against the Unbreakable 3. With Styles having problems with Abyss, it looks like the Unbreakable 3 are all busy with separate opponents.

The tag team division seems pretty interesting with Beer Money facing off against the Guns. Interesting that you turned the Guns heel instead of Beer Money, but you couldn't go wrong with either. Hoping the titles stay with the Guns though :D

I like how you're building up Lashley who just came back to TNA. He's a strong guy so a win over Murphy was pretty good. Also, I like this feud with Matt Morgan. Morgan is a beast at 7'0. Lashley-Morgan feud? That's awesome.

The X-Division is looking pretty good too with Kazarian feuding with Low Ki. Low Ki is a really good in-ring wrestler so I'm glad you gave him the shot here over Austin Aries who most seem to put in this position.

My favorite feud you have going on right now is Daniels vs. Angle. These two always put on great matches. But hmm, looks like Daniels is straying away from the Unbreakable 3? Who knows, but these two men are sure to put on some great matches.

The ending was perfect for this episode. Hardy needed to look strong and he was booked strong thanks to you. Really liking how TNA is in your thread man. But overall, it's awesome man. Again, my favorite feud is Daniels/Angle. But hmm, no RVD & Wolfe? hoping they come up next the show. Cheers man!

GCB's REVIEW

Like I said in the General Discussion thread, I'm not a fan of TNA, I don't really get it and I don't have the knowledge of the guys involved to get into the storylines. I'm just going to comment on the one show, the last one, and tell you what I think of what you're doing and such.

First up, the matches. Recap form is OK but I can't get interested in one line matches like the first couple. The latter ones between Hardy and AJ, the tag match and the Abyss and Joe one were easier to get into because there was more. Recap form doesn't mean one sentence. It means not a full written match and I think a paragraph would have been better. OR you could just write the ending out in full. A quick sentence or two about how the match has gone and then write the final few minutes out in full? I think that would be better.

I like the way that all the feuds look to be intermingling. As I say, I'm not into your storylines but I can see that you've got different parts and different feuds connecting up. That suggests to me that you have planned this out, you're clear on where you're going and you're not making this up on the fly. Yes, every now and then when you write a show, you can decide to change things and add stuff BUT having a clear direction helps to make a more all rounded show which it appears you have.

I'm not too keen on the formatting. I'm not a fan of quote boxes for matches, I'd like to see some colour and images used to be honest. Also, with it being TNA which people like me are less familiar with, images of the competitors (not 'bigging' my own BT up but have you seen my pen pictures that I use to introduce the guys to the ring - something like that) might help the reader to see what the characters are like. I know of Angle and Hardy here, I know what Joe and Abyss look like and I know that AJ is a little guy. However, if I could see the others, I might 'feel' the matches a little more. Just an idea.

What I'm going to try and do is keep reading from now. See if I can get into the stories. See if you can improve and change my opinion of TNA a little!

TNAWrestling.com sat down with the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Samoa Joe to discuss the huge changes that have taken place in the last month at TNA and his ascension to becoming Champion of the World.

TNAWrestling.com said:
Thanks so much for your time, we here at TNAWrestling.com know how busy you are now that you are champion and all the responsibilities that come with it.
No problem

Joe first of all congratulations on becoming a two-time TNA World Champion, it must be great to be on top of the mountain once again.

You’re damn right it feels good. The World title is what this business is all about and it showed that all I needed was one opportunity to prove I am the best in this business. I got it and I took it and I won the belt. Now it’s all about me proving that I am the very best in the World.

Joe you are the Champion of the World you don’t really have to prove you are the best, doesn’t the belt say that already?

Not right now it doesn’t. You see for far too long this company has been about politics and backstabbing and someone else’s agenda. Guys like Hogan and Bischoff and their agenda about putting their boys on top and leaving the real talents out in the cold. Right now I’m going to make this belt mean something again. I’m going to be a fighting champion. I’m going to be the hunter and seek out the very best and fight the best to prove that without a shadow of doubt, the man who holds this title is the best in the world.
Speaking of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, can you talk about what happened all those weeks ago that set in motion you now sitting here as the Champion. Some would say it was a great move by you to get in front of everyone and take the title for yourself. Some say you did what you did so you could get you and your friends to the top.

People can say what they want. The fact is Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff had no idea what TNA was or is and they transformed it into a joke. TNA has been a laughing stock and AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and I as well as countless others had busted our backs building this company into something special only for two guys to walk in and piss all over it in one show. I couldn’t take it any more. The Unbreakable 3 couldn’t take it any more and I did what I had to.

Which was interrupt the main event, attack the two “top stars” of the company and shoot on the current direction, which you have a bit of a reputation of doing over the years. Most TNA fans remember your shoot on Scott Hall when he failed to turn up for a TNA Main event. Now you’ve been successful in removing several ex-WWE and WCW employees from positions such as Hogan, Bischoff, Flair, Russo, Anderson and even colour commentator Taz, who in kayfabe brought you in.

Yes, that’s exactly what I did and what the Unbreakable 3 have set out to do. Do I have a history of speaking my mind? You’re damn right I do. But I’m also the Champion and I felt that back then everyone here in TNA was being disrespected. AJ Styles is a former 2 or 3 time Grand Slam Champion, Christopher Daniels one of the best ever has received in his entire career 3 title shots. After I lost the title I only received 2 title shots. My and Daniels shots were all against AJ who was a fighting Champion and took on who he thought was the best.

The people in charge of this company wanted to bury the best wrestlers in the world for some unknown reason so they could prove their direction or their ideas were better than the original vision. It made no sense and I had to finally stick up for what is right and cut out the cancer that was killing this company. As for Taz, some one thought it would be a good idea that I was a student of his? Why? I’m my own man, I’m Samoa Joe and I’ll break you in half, I don’t need any one comparing me to a man who puts no effort into helping this company and collects a big fat paycheck for no other reason than he used to work somewhere else.

There is no room for mediocre or going through the motions here any more. It’s all about being the best. And if you can’t hack it here then go elsewhere because there is only room here in TNA for the best from now on.

Do you think though that it was up to you to make these changes? Maybe the TNA fans were enjoying the direction Hogan and Bischoff were taking the company. Why do you feel your direction was the right one and not there’s?

Someone had to stand up. Someone had to come in say enough is enough. TNA Wrestling which once stood for amazing matches and pure wrestling was now a running joke. People all over the world were mocking what was going on. Orlando Jordan pouring some sort of white stuff all over himself? Mr. Anderson who has no right to be anywhere near the World title was Champion, thank god it was only for a month. But then it went right back to that junkie Hardy. They made bad decision after bad decision and had no real idea what this company was ever about and what it stood for. And if Dixie or Jarrett didn’t have the balls to stand up to these guys who were so out of touch, then I had to. The Unbreakable 3 had to.
Speaking of Hardy he has be able to get his contracted title rematch with the help of his new manager James Mitchell, and this Sunday you will squaring off with him again, this time inside the six sides of steel.

Jeff Hardy is a disgrace and it doesn’t surprise me he would go and hire himself the most devious and sleazy manager in the business James Mitchell to get him his title shot. But unfortunately for that junkie, it’s not going to save him. Inside the cage I’m going to beat him up so bad he wont ever want to step inside a wrestling ring ever again.

Hardy is the punching bag I’m going to get all my frustrations out on. He is the message I intend to send to all those people like Hogan and Bischoff who thought that because you came from another company you were worth more than us. I’m going to wipe the floor with this guy and show the world that the TNA wrestlers are the very best and that no other wrestling organization can hold a candle to our talent, to our competition. I am going to show everybody that I am Samoa Joe and I am the Champion of the greatest pro-wrestling organization in the world. Let me say that again. TNA is the best professional wrestling organization in the world, and this Sunday at Lockdown there will no longer be any doubt about it. This Sunday and every day after that, wrestling matters here in TNA..

Thanks for your time Joe and good luck this Sunday.

I wont need luck this Sunday, cause Joe is going to kill Hardy at Lockdown…

I don't really follow TNA and that's why I chose to read your booking. I wanted to see whether you can help me change my opinion on the brand in general. What you've done is what Hogan & Bischoff should be doing.

Keeping the championships on Samoa Joe, MCMG is a smart move. The feuds you have created could easily work in the real TNA, if only Jeff Hardy would stay in line.

Every feud is getting stronger with every card, and almost connecting with some other feud in there. A little complicated, but I can see how it could seamlessly work.
The best thing about your show is Kazarian holding the X-Division together.

Although your booking was well above par, it just proves how much talent the TNA has, and not using them properly.

Big thanks to Jam, GCB and ZBroski who have given me reviews for my latest show, and Avitus and Jam for continuing their support. Being new here I've got a bit to learn so I take it all on board to try an improve, it is all much appreciated. I'll admit that I was so excited to continue my story the last episode was a little rushed, so I'll make sure to do the little things right to improve as I go.

Thanks everyone for reading and their continued feedback and support, it's very encouraging. My Internet review format keeps me from burnout and hopefully the reader also, but I'm going to ensure I bring in more detail as I go to make them more complete shows, but still keep that reader friendly feel. Cheers everyone.

Next episode should be up next week
and then Lockdown 2011

new_tna_logo.jpg

Tonight’s episode of TNA Impact is the go home show to one of their biggest pay per views on their calendar, Lockdown. Every match will be held inside the six sides of steel structure. Most of the matches have been advertised already so this show will indeed solidify why TNA fans should purchase this event.

The pyro goes off to start the show and first off we get James Mitchell, Jeff Hardy and Abyss walking out to the ring. The boos from the fans are deafening as this nightmarish trio stand in the ring and cut their promo in a bath of purplish light.

Mitchell refers to the big screen showing Hardy first of all hitting the Swanton Bomb on AJ Styles and pinning him and then drawing blood when he busted open Champion Joe with a chair shot last week. Mitchell says that at Destination X, Joe attacked his client backstage, and then Jeff Jarrett ordered the World title match be wrestled at the start of the show. First of all his client was not warmed up and ready to defend his title as it was scheduled to be in two hours from the beginning of the Destination X event. And secondly, Jeff Hardy had been attacked and should have had the night off not been forced to wrestle at all little own at the start of the pay per view.

Mitchell continues to say that Jarrett is lucky he wasn’t sued and is why Jeff hardy is back in TNA and has his title shot this Sunday. Jeff Hardy is the true TNA Champion and was screwed out of his title last month. This month will be a different story because Joe is the one who is injured from last week’s chair shot and Jeff hardy is at 110%. Mitchell says for everyone to see how the pretender to the throne, Joe, likes it when the odds are on the other foot.

Hardy takes the mic now and tells Joe that his attack on him last week came without consequence. It came without Jarrett coming to him and giving him any fines or suspensions or anything, because he knows that what happened at Destination X was wrong. “Samoa Joe that’s power. That’s real power. The power I hold over this damn company is as it has been since I walked in the door. I have star-power, and the right to do whatever I want whenever I want. And you and your girlfriends can whine and complain about it all you want, but at the end of the day, I am Jeff hardy and you’re NOT!”

But then the World Champion’s music hits and out walks Joe. He walks down the ramp and tells Hardy he’s going to kill him for what he did last week. But security come out and block him. Jeff Jarrett comes out and off the mic tells Joe that he isn’t to lay a hand on Hardy and that he is not cleared to wrestle after last week’s “incident”. Joe is livid, he pie faces Jarrett so hard he ends up on his ass and moves again towards the ring, but security stop him.

Styles and Daniels walk out, they talk to Jarrett and an agreement is made. Jarrett says you want it you got. Joe is told and he backs away, still angry though and Styles takes the microphone. He tells Hardy that Joe may not be able to be in the ring tonight because of what he did last week, but they can. Tonight it will be Jeff hardy and Abyss vs. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels!

Hardy blows up deluxe! “You can’t do that Jarrett. Joe’s buddies will probably try to injure me going into Lockdown!!!” Jarrett tells Hardy he just did it and Impact goes to commercial with Styles’ music playing…

Match #1
Chris Sabin w/Alex Shelley vs. Robert Roode w/ James Storm

These two teams will face each other for the World Tag titles at Lockdown. For the right to compete for the titles, Beer Money has stated that if they lose, they can not vie for the titles while the Machine Guns are champions.

The arrogant and brash new champions walk out first. The fans are all over them but they hold up their belts to show that they are the ones to beat. Sabin and Roode square off to try and give their team momentum for this Sunday. Roode looks to use his power advantage, but he may have underestimated how strong Sabin actually is. They lock up and Sabin starts to out wrestle Roode. Roode known more for his high impact and brawling is caught off guard as Shelley taunts him from the outside.

Sabin mocks Roode by putting him down and then paint brushing him playing up to the fans and trying to embarrass the former champ. Sabin starts to dominate as he is indeed faster than Roode and hits some high flying attacks putting down Roode and sending him out to the floor. Sabin again high fives his partner and arrogantly taunts his opponent.

Roode recovers and fires back now with his own attacks. Sabin comes off the ropes but this time Roode hits the spine buster! Sabin is now hurt bad and Roode looks to finish with the fisherman’s suplex, but Sabin is able to reverse it in mid air and turn it into a reverse DDT! Both men are down and Storm gets the fans to help fire up Roode. Both men are up and Roode looks to take Sabin’s head off with a lariat but before he can run in, Shelley grabs his ankle tripping him up! But Shelley pays the price and is super kicked by Storm on the outside!!! But the damage is done and Sabin hits a leg drop to the back of Roode’s head and rolls hi over for the three count!

Winner: Chris Sabin
8:12

Storm jumps in the ring but Sabin quickly escapes. Storm checks on his partner as Sabin grabs the titles and helps Shelley up the ramp and to the back with a big smile on his face

An earlier today video is shown where Tara and the Beautiful People have an altercation and security has to get in between them. Sky and Love tell Tara to find herself a partner and meet them in the ring. Hamada is then shown walking up to Tara and says that they had a hell of a match at Destination X and wants to be Tara’s partner. Tara is hesitant for a few moments before realizing how much firepower Hamada has and shakes her hand.

Match #2
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) vs. Knockout Champion Tara and Hamada

Hamada says she’ll start and she delivers some heavy shots to the TBPs. Sky is almost in tears as Hamada reigns down vicious kicks and elbow strikes! Love comes in but she too is hit with a big time clothesline. Hamada hits a moonsault and gets a 2 count.

Hamada then looks to the crowd and points to Tara and gets a big ovation, the TBPs are down and trying to get to their feet as the fans pop for the hot tag and Tara stpes in ready to show these bitches who’s boss! OOOOHHH!!

Hamada takes Tar’s head off with a brutal roundhouse kick! Hamada death stares all girls in the ring and then jumps down off the apron and walks to the back. Love can’t believe her luck, jumps on Tara and pins the Champion!

Winners: The Beautiful People
4:52

Backstage Bobby Lashley says that this week he spoke with Jarrett and the match has been signed. Inside the cage will be him and Matt Morgan. He says that he came back to TNA to take on the best. Not to be cheap shotted from behind by a punk like Morgan. He says that it doesn’t matter how big Morgan is, he’s a punk, and at Lockdown he’s going to show him how he takes some one out, and that’s face to face, one on one.

Christy Hemme the says that tonight Lashley is teaming with the Pope and RVD against Morgan, Wolfe and Hernandez in a six man tag. Lashley says that RVD is one of the best ever and the Pope is his boy, so tonight, is going to be a big preview for Sunday.

Match #3
Rob Van Dam, D’Angelo Dinero and Bobby Lashley vs. Desmond Wolfe w/ Cheslea, Shawn Hernandez and Matt Morgan

This match is like an all star match. So many top names in TNA, in the ring at the same time. RVD starts and gets a huge chant as Hernandez wants in. the powerhouse exerts his will on the veteran and throws him around like a rag doll. Rob though, in mid air lands on the ropes, rebounds and counters with a thrust kick! Rob bows to the fans and tags in Lashley who knocks Shawn over with several clotheslines. Hernandez rolls out to safety as Bobby demands Morgan get into the ring with him! Morgan jumps off the apron and walks off as Wolfe tags himself in.

Wolfe looks for the lock up with Lashley but sticks a thumb in the big man’s eye instead. He then trips him up and goes to work on his arm. Wolfe is a technical master and begins his dissection of powerhouse’s arm. Now that he is down Morgan calls for the tag and comes in and starts stomping him, and hitting him with his own high impact moves.

Quick tags in and out as Lashley is forced to bear the brunt of their assault. Finally Morgan is tagged in but out of desperation Bobby explodes and hits a big lariat and the ref starts to count each man down. At 8 both men tag thei team mates in and the Pope blasts Wolfe with his pimp slappin’ combo. Herandez rushes in but RVD is able to take care of him with a flying cross body! Morgan is left exposed and Rob hits a split-legged moonsault and drags Lashley over for the cover. 1.2.3!

Winners: Rob Van Dam, D’Angelo Dinero and Bobby Lashley
12:38

The crowd pops big time for the win after this really fun match as Wolfe doesn’t look very impressed. Wolfe and Hernandez rush the ring and knock down the celebrating Van Dam and Dinero! Wolfe hits the Tower of London on RVD, while Hernandez hits the Border Toss on the Pope! But this Sunday Hernandez and Wolfe will also be opponents and they have a quick stare down before, Chelsea gets in between them and she walks Desmond off. Hernandez laughs at him hiding behind his girl’s skirt, while Wolfe licks his lips as he leaves…

The Unbreakable 3 are backstage and TNA Champion Joe cuts a promo on how hardy slithered back into TNA. He tells Hardy at lockdown he’s going to destroy him, and that at Lockdown he can’t hide behind his manager’s politics. He will send a message to all those who want to try and take on Samoa Joe, by making Hardy a smear on the mat.

Styles and Daniels then say that tonight they’ll show who has the real power here in TNA when they get the 1.2.3.

Back to ringside and it’s the X Division Champion of the World, Frankie Kazarian. Dressed like he’s ready to hit the clubs, he has the belt over his shoulder and his sunglasses on. He gets a mixed reaction from the fans as over the last few weeks he has been very conceited and this cost him a victory last week.

Kazarian says that in three days, he is going to walk into a six sided cage with a vicious animal. He rips off his sunglasses to reveal a huge black eye and tells the fans to look what Low Ki did to his beautiful face last week. He says that he should just call the whole thing off and that he is a superior athlete who should be forced to wrestle an animal. He says he gets no respect even though he is the best X wrestler in the world. He points out that last week his own tag partner Austin Aries disrespected him and opened the door for Low Ki to knock him out. He orders Aries to come out right now and apologise.

Aries steps into the ring and with a smile on his face tells him he’s got to be joking and that he was about to win the match with a 450 Splash but Kazarian had to steal the spotlight, tag him out of the match and then get his face kicked in by Ki. The only person Kazarian should be blaming is himself. Frankie is not happy. But Aries isn’t done, and asks the Champ if he should even be holding the gold as it seems he just tries to let others do his work for him, and then he picks the bones. That’s the way Aries saw it last week and that’s the way he saw it at Destination X in the Ultimate X match for the belt!

Kazarian can’t take no more and slaps Aries across the face, and yells at him that “How dare you speak to me that way! I’m the Champion!!!” He goes to slap him again, but Aries drives a big time forearm shot into Kaz’s black eye and it drops him! Frankie begs off, grabs his belt and rolls out of the ring.

Kazarian is without a microphone but you can hear him tell Aries he’s a dead man, but Low Ki’s music hits and out walks the Warrior! Kazarian runs scared through the crowd as Ki gives the sign of the belt. Aries though isn’t finished and he tells Low Ki he isn’t afraid of him and if he’s got the guts, he’ll put his #1 contenders spot on the line right now! Low Ki doesn’t back down from a challenge and steps inot the ring and the two men stare each other down. He snatches the mic off of him and tells him he’s on and then blasts him in the face with the microphone.

Match #4
Low Ki vs. Austin Aries

The two men exchange blows before a referee even makes it into the ring. Aries is dazed from the opening shot and is covering up from the vicious kicks and strikes from the number one contender. Low Ki looks to finish it early with the warriors Way, but Aries moves and throws Ki to the floor. Ki is then hit by the Heat Seeker suicide dive. Aries then rolls Low Ki back into the ring and flips over the ropes with a splash and then hits the ropes for a moonsault for a 2 count.

The south paw blasts Ki in the face and sends him into the corner following it up with an explosive drop kick to the face! It’s Austin’s turn to now look to finish and climbs high for the 450 Splash, but Ki leaps and hits a big time kick knocking Aries off the top turnbuckle and crashing to the floor below!

Ki lies on the mat as the ref counts Aries down… Aries skull first on the floor and isn’t moving. The ref counts him out as an exhausted Low Ki is awarded the victory.

Winner via count out: Low Ki
6:48

Low Ki himself is hurt and as he gets to his feet he is blasted in the face by the X Division title!!!! Kazarian returned and picked his spot well! The Champ bad mouths Ki and raises the belt in the air. He then sees Aries stir on the floor. Kazarian then leaps off the apron and hits a leaping leg drop smashing Aries’ face back into the ringside floor!

The Champion raises his title again as he has left both men laying…

There is a backstage promo from James Mitchell and Jeff Hardy with Abyss in the background snarling. They say that tonight Joe’s girlfriends are going to be taken out and Abyss will pick his teeth with their bones. Hardy says that tonight he sends Joe a message.

Match #5
Generation Me vs. The British Invasion vs. Gunner/Murphy vs. The Koslovs (Aleksander and Vladimir)

In a fatal four way, the stars of the TNA tag division look to secure possibly the next contender for the tag titles. Gen Me do what they do best and fly through the air, while the Brits use their technical prowess to ground and grind their opponents into the mat. The powerhouses of Gunner and Murphy are vcious and look to put a severe hurting on the other teams, while the new additions to the TNA roster the slick and highflying Aleksander flies though the air while the giant sambo master Vladimir uses his power to thorw the others around including the 6 foot 9 Murphy.

In an amazing spot, The Bucks look for a moonsault but are speared in mid air by Gunner!! Vladimir hits his Iron Curtain finisher on Gunner and then looks for the pin only to be hit by the Chaos Theory by Doug Williams for the 3 count!

Winners: The British Invasion
8:12

Main Event
Jeff Hardy and Abyss w/ James Mitchell vs. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels

It’s the classic good versus evil in tonight’s main event as the Unbreakable 3’s Styles and Daniels look like superheroes taking on the super villains in Hardy and Abyss. The mask Hardy has started to wear to the ring is scary as he removes it before the bell sounds.

Hardy orders Abyss to start and Styles wants in as he is his opponent at Lockdown. Styles sticks and moves. Abyss tries to get his hands on the Phenomenal One, but AJ is to quick. Before the Monster even realsies it, Daniels is tagged in and the superheroes use amazing double teams to put the big man down! Quick tags see the former TNA tag champs hit double team move after double team move as all Hardy can do is break up the pin covers.

Styles though pulls Hardy into the ring the hard way with a flip and then attacks him! The ref tries to stop it, but this is allows Abyss to get back into the match and put down Styles with a big time shot to the back of the skull! Hardy tags in and starts to dominate the match. The heels now tag in and out as Daniels can only watch on as Styles has to kick out of high impact moves.

Styles though fights back and fires off a Pele kick to get his team back into it. He reaches out and looks for a the tag and Daniels is a house of fire! He hits a running STO smashing Hardy into the mat and then drives a running knee strike into the temple of Abyss, sending the monster crashing into the turnbuckles. An enzaguri to the temple and Abyss falls like a tree, and the fans go crazy as he delivers the BME!!! 1..2.. Hardy barely breaks up the pin and throws Daniels to the floor.

Styles and Hardy blast each other with right hands. Hardy hits the ropes to come off with a big shot, but Styles grabs him and rolls him up for a 2 count. Hardy kicks Styles in the balls and that’s it!

Winners via DQ: AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels
15:46

Styles doubles over and Hardy looks to hit the Swanton Bomb. Daniels though won’t have any of that, but someone has grabbed him! Olympic Slam on the floor!!!!

Kurt Angle has put down Daniels and trash talks him. Hardy hits the Swanton on Styles as Mitchell manically laughs. Hardy celebrates in the ring as Joe’s music hits and the fans go batshit crazy!

Joe runs out with a steel chair. You can see a bandage behind his head as he dives into the ring and Hardy leaps for cover. Joe throws the chair at him but misses and Hardy laughs as they walk up the ramp giving the sign of the belt. Angle is seen in the background walking back into the entrance tunnel as Joe roars to end the episode…

WOW MAN!!!

It is so awesome to see you writing again, the last time I read your work it was awesome and man this work I have seen so far looks like it is well on the way to being just as awesome if not even better.

I love the concept of the Unbreakable 3, I think those three men really stand up for what TNA believe in so seeing them three bringing about this change is unreal.

I like a lot of your booking so far and I really like your style. It hasn't changed heaps since I last read your stuff, so it is kinda familiar but not if you get my drift lol!

I saw you waited a little to get rid of Hogan/Bischoff which isn't bad, in my latest project I got rid of them straight off the bat. I was going to post that project here but I dunno if I wanna have it clash with this fed as it is awesome so far!

I am still catching up on it all here man but so far I really, really REALLY love what I am seeing from you. It all looks great, I love the concept and I hope you continue on strong with it!

Good Luck Man :headbanger:

Match #1
Bobby Lashley vs. Matt Morgan

images
vs.
images

Matt Morgan has been on the warpath lately demanding a world title shot. When he was defeated by Rob Van Dam last month, he attacked officials and staff. Jarrett the TNA Founder was not impressed and told him he had to earn his opportunities because wrestling matters in TNA. But when his Destination X match was cancelled and his opponent Kurt Angle was elevated into the World title match, Morgan was livid.

During this time Jarrett resigned the juggernaut Bobby Lashley who was thrown away by the previous management. Lashley’s shocking re-debut came at Morgan’s expense when the powerhouse knocked over the giant in a surprise match. Morgan was now out to take down Jarrett’s latest acquisition and show that he is the man in TNA….

These two behemoths get in the cage and they seem to dwarf it. But as soon as the door closes Morgan is on the attack. He shoves Lashley into the steel and it seems to be his strategy. He’s looking to bust Bobby open and send a message to Jarrett.

Lashley fires back and uses his power to put Morgan down with body slams and clotheslines. The two bulls bashed each other and really showed the fans how the cage can be used as a weapon. Morgan starts to dominate and beat down Lashley and taunt the fans, when Jeff Jarrett walks out and folds his arms. Morgan starts tarsh talking him as Jarrett tells him to keep his focus. Lashley explodes and crushes him in the cage wall and folds him for the cover…1…2…

Morgan kicks out and unleashes the Carbon Footprint! 1..2…

Lashley kicks out. Morgan looks at Jarrett and gives the throat slash and puts Lashley in between the ropes and the cage…. Carbon Footprint!!! Lashley’s skull bounces off the back of the cage and then drags him back into the ring. Hellavator!!!

1..2..3.

Winner: Matt Morgan
10:32

Morgan roars and demands the cage door be opened. He shoves it open as it gets unlocked and Morgan is met by a clapping Jeff Jarrett. Morgan and Jarrett have a stare down for what seems like an age before . Morgan brushes passed him to the back putting the shoulder in as he walks to the back. Jarrett smiles as we move onto the video package for the next match, the Knockout’s title match.

Match #2
Knockout Championship Match
Champion Tara vs. Angelina Love w/ Velvet Sky

images
vs.
images

The Beautiful People being their obnoxious best over the last month have done their utmost to get under the skin of the Champion. The greatest prize for women’s wrestling in the world is the KO title, and Love is gunning to be Champ again. But the great equalizer is the cage, making sure her partner Velvet Sky can’t get involved. Tara is ready as Love seems to be unsure about the steel structure and doesn’t seem quite as home as the Champion.

Tara has the power advantage and shoves off the lighter challenger easily after the initial tie up. Love though is sly and looks to tie up again but drop kicks the knee of the champion. The knee brace is a big time target and the champion drops down and the former champion goes to work.

Tara is forced to fight off the mat as Love really starts drilling her with a hit and run type attack plan. There is a lot of hair pulling and innovative wrapping the long hair in the steel of the cage to inflict damage. Velvet cheers on her partner from the outside as she really starts working that leg. Tara though fights back and hits a big deep arm drag which sends Love crashing into the cage wall. She bounces off it and straight into a spine buster! Tara then tries to slap her leg back into the match but Love like a surgeon keeps attacking that knee. She drives elbow shots into her face and then looks for the Botox Injection kick.

Tara catches it, spins her around and lands a big time lariat for a 2 count! Both girls are down as the fans get them to get back into it. They exchange blows, shot after shot rocks them both as they try to put the other down. Both are dazed but out of nowehere Love hits Botox Injection!

But she is slow to make the cover. She slithers finally onto the Champion for the 1..2… Kickout!!! Tara kicks out as West and Tenay talk about the time she lost in getting to the cover.

Love goes up top looking for a high risk finisher, but is quickly followed and the two battle for position high above the ring in the far corner of the cage. Love gets Tara and looks for a superplex, but it’s blocked and then countered!!

Tara hits a modified rockbottom off the top rope driving Love into the centre of the mat!!!

1..2..3!

Winner and STILL Knockout’s Champion Tara
8:21

Velvet can’t believe it as Tara gradually gets to her feet and is handed the title. She celebrates as Love is still out and Velvet runs in to check on her. Tara watches her back but celebrates raising the title in the air the best she can.

The fans give the KOs Champ a standing ovation when suddenly Hamada’s music hits!

images

She comes down the ramp with purpose and gets into the cage. She stands face to face with Tara, but then suddenly unloads a vicious kick on Velvet Sky! Tara holding her ribs watches on as Hamada stares at her while she hits a sitout powerbomb on Sky on top of the still down Love!! Both girls squeal in pain as Hamada again stares down the Champ. Tara raises the belt in the air and leaves as Hamada watches on from the cage with an almost insane look…

Backstage the X Division Champion Frankie Kazarian is with Christy Hemme. He talks about how he has time and time again upheld the values of the X Division. He has carried it on his back and taken it to the promised land. He is the very best X Division wrestler in the world, and since the X Division is the greatest division in the world, he is the very best wrestler in the world. He then talks about how Low Ki is a dangerous fighter and TNA shouldn’t be risking the health of their best and biggest draw card against this man.

Low Ki had attacked him time and time again forcing himself into this match. Kazarian says that he feels that due to the whole Samoa Joe incident and management’s direction being changed they had forgotten about the safety of their biggest and best looking star… and that if they wont protect him, then he will take it upon himself to do so, and that Low Ki is going to regret ever wanting a title match at Lockdown with the Champ for the rest of his life!

Next up is the Ultimate Xcape match to decide the next challenger for the X Division Championship.

Match #3
X Division Xcape #1 contender’s Match
Petey Williams vs. Homicide vs. Austin Aries vs. Masato Yoshino vs. Elix Skipper vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Kid Kash vs. Max Buck vs. Jeremy Buck vs. the Amazing Red

[No images because the system wont allow the number . .]

This match was a highly entertaining, highflying, video game as all the x guys pulled off their best and brightest moves. Just watching it almost gives you an epileptic fit! Red is like a super bounce ball and flings himself all over the place taking out anyone in his path with spinning and flipping moves. Yoshino is like a streak of lightning as he cannonballs everyone. Gen me use their double teams to pull some amazing holy shit moments, while the heavy hitters like Aries, Kash and Willaims put on high impact clinics! Kendrick looks to be the first to escape the cage, but is brought back to earth by a super-rana from Red!

Finally above the ring sitting on the top of the cage Aries and Kash battle it out and Aries superplexes Kash off the top of the cage and he crashes down on everyone else trying to bring the two men down! Willaims escapes the shot and grabs Aries’ leg but Austin kicks him off and drops on the other side to escape the cage and win the match!

Winner: Austin Aries
13:57

Aries has his hand raised on the outside as EMTs rush in and check on everyone involved in this amazing car crash of a match!

Match #4
World Tag Team Championship Match
Champions Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money

images
vs.
images

The Champs have backed the former ones into a corner. Beer Money wanted another shot at the belts, but the Guns said that they are welcome to it under one condition, and that is that if / “when” the Guns defeat them, Beer Money can no longer challenge for the titles as long as they are the reigning Champions.

Beer Money agreed knowing, inside the six sides of steel, they have the advantage and tonight they will take back their belts…

The very popular Machine Guns have become one of the most hated acts in the company. Their arrogance has made them big time heels as they now run the Tag division. Beer Money get a huge reaction as they make their way into the cage but are immediately blasted by the Guns!

These two teams have amazing chemistry but this time the cage brings a whole new dimension. Roode and Storm look to use the steel to inflict more damage. The drive their opponents into the steel fence and try to grate the flesh off the bone. While the Guns use the cage to fly higher and hit giant leg drops and explosive double team attacks. There is even the old tower of doom move that brings everyone crashing to the mat!

But it’s the desperation of Roode and Storm who know they wont get another opportunity at the championships again that turn the tide of the match. Roode suplexes Sabin into the cage. He drops head first in between the ropes and the steel and crashes head first on the apron! Storm then baseball slides into his face! BEER! MONEY!!! They yell as Shelley comes at them only to be hit by a violent and brutal spine buster that makes Alex scream in pain. Shelley is all alone as Sabin is caught in no man’s land and it’s time for the DWI…

But Shelley pokes Storm in the eye, and mule kicks Roode in the face to escape the finisher. Shelley kicks Roode in the groin and then hits a tornado DDT on him and a hurricanrana on Storm at the same time! He then drags Sabin back inot the match and they hit stereo superkicks on Roode and through him now into the no man’s land area and then hit Storm with Skull and Bones!!!

1..2…NO!!

In an amazing show of desperation and determination, Storm kicks out of the Guns’ finisher! The Guns can’t believe it and frustration sets in, they look to finish again but Storm pushes them off and double clotheslines both men down as the crowd rallies behind their heroes. Storm suplexes Sabin but is caught with a knee strike to the top of his head. The Guns then double team Storm with a suplex of their own and then Sliced Bread #2, 1..2… Roode breaks up the pin!

Roode throws Shelley head first into the steel and then blasts Sabin with rights and lefts. Roode whips Sabin into the corner looking for another spine buster, but Sabin ducks, hits the ropes and hits a leaping lariat. Roode gets to his feet but is destroyed by a leaping tornado DDT!!! 1..2.. Storm breaks up the count but Shelley is back and drags down Storm with a Motor City Stretch. Storm looks to escape and calls out to his partner but Sabin climbs the turnbucklel again and drops a flying knee into the spine of Storm and he taps out!!!!!!

Winners and STILL World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns
19:04

The Champs jump to their feet in victory knowing they have gone through hell and came out the other side with the gold. Roode slumps to the ground in despair, as Storm lies flat on his stomach and unable to move. Once again the cage has EMTs rush to it to check on the four men, but the Guns arrogantly brush them aside and hold their belts up in victory to the booing fans. They taunt the fans as they leave as Beer money come to realize what has just happened and their whole reason for being a team just walked out the cage door. The two men shake hands and then embrace as the fans give them a standing ovation as the future for Beer Money Inc. seems uncertain..

Low Ki is backstage with Christy Hemme. Low Ki says that pretty boy Kazarian will get his head kicked in and there is nothing he can do about it. Tonight Low Ki once again becomes the X Division Champion. A very short but to the point promo but Ki looked fierce.

Match #5
X Division Championship Match
Champion Frankie Kazarian vs. Low Ki

images
vs.

Kazarian runs in for a tie up, but stops short and Low Ki runs into a big slap to the face! Ki, cannot believe what just happened. Kazarian like a bullfighter appeals to the fans, behind him Low Ki cracks possibly his first smile in TNA ever! But quickly turns it into a frown. Frankie moves with him and goes in for the tie up. The two men jockey for position and spin each other around on the mat. One trying to push the other back, and trying get a good foot hold or a stronger leverage. Low Ki gets under and pushes Frankie into the corner, he then releases the hold and lashes out with a huge elbow strike. But Frankie moves out of the way turning Low Ki into the turnbuckle, and again delivers a big time slap! Low Ki is not impressed and shoots back a ferocious look, but Frankie is not finished this time and drops to a knee and hits a big time uppercut open palm thrust! Low Ki is lifted off his feet and comes down on his knees. Frankie hits big time knee strikes, driving the right hand side of his body into Low Ki’s face and upper body, causing Ki to drop to the mat on his back.

Kazarian bows to the fans and knows he is complete control of this match. Low Ki, grabbing his chest slowly gets to his feet. Frankie sprints to the corner and delivers a dropkick, Low Ki though spins his body in a somersault and blasts Frankie with a kick to the face! Kazarian hits the mat, as Low Ki rolls up to his feet and looking around snorting, roars and immediately follows up by pulling Kazarian to his feet by the hair and then shooting in the double Mongolian chops and then an explosive double dropkick firing Kazarian spine first into the corner. Frankie hits hard and falls hard. He rolls around in extreme pain as Low Ki rubs his chest and quickly climbs the turnbuckle. Low Ki with a primal scream comes down with everything he can with the Warrior’s Way double foot stomp!

Rope break! Kazarian is too close to the ropes and is able to grab it with his left hand, just before the ref’s hand hit the mat for the third time. Low Ki drags Kazarian to the middle of the ring and covers him again

1

Kazarian kicks out, but Low Ki transitions into the Dragon sleeper and then tries to turn it into the DragonClutch.. but Frankie has obviously been working on countering the move and has his hand in under his chin, and is bashing away on Low Ki’s calf. Frankie snap mares the Warrior, who spins and delivers a vicious kick to Kazarian’s temple!

Kazarian kicks out!! The Warrior grabs Frankie and goes for a suplex. Kazarian blocks and tries a suplex. Low Ki blocks and tries and the two men keep the fans on the edge of their seats wondering who is going to hit the move.

Kazarian hits the suplex, but is exhausted, and has to rest in the corner. Low Ki grabbing his back stands up slowly only to be hit by a shining wizardo! Low Ki though hits a flying kick and it sends the Champ crashing into the steel cage.

Low Ki now goes to work on Frankie with strikes and kicks coming from all different directions. Kazarian is in trouble as Low Ki is brutal and looks to be going out to not just win the match but injure the man. Kazarian throws a punch and Low Ki catches it and takes advantage locking on the Iron Octopus submission (head scissors armbar). Kazarian is desperately looking for the ropes but he can’t find it. Still on his feet he drops to his knees sending Low Ki crashing skull first on the mat!

Kazarian looks to finish and grabs a dazed Ki and drops him with a spin kick and then climbs up top and hits a big time leg drop! Kazarian moves in for another shining wizard to end the match but Ki jumps up and leapfrogs over the move. Low Ki then again attempts the deadly DragonClutch, Kazarian spins around and hits a German Suplex! He has the move scouted and drops down for a pin. 1…2..

Low Ki kicks out, but as he gets to his feet is hit with a dropkick! 1..2…

Low Ki escapes again lifting his shoulder at the last minute as the fans know what’s coming and Low Ki is on dream street. Bicycle kick connects and Kaz follows up with the Fade to Black (kneeling belly to back tombstone)!!!! 1..2..

Low Ki kicks out again! Frankie, sets himself for the Back to the Future as Low Ki uses the corner to pull himself up. Ki pushes him off and explodes with a spinning sommersault back kick to the top of the Champ’s head! 1..2..

Low Ki chops Kazrian inot the corner and then blasts him with kick after kick and stomp after stomp. The referee tries to tell him he’s in the ropes, but due to it being a cage match, he cannot be disqualified. The pretty boy is being absolutely pummeled as Ki rains down stomps and then knees right into the face of the Champion. He is relentless and Kazarian taps out!

Winner via submission, and NEW X Division Champion Low Ki
15:27

The bell rings and the referee gets in between Low Ki and his “prey”. In a very violent ending Ki is pushed back and he roars as the crowd have seen a new side to the X Division! Kazarian is almost limp in the corner and all he can do is hold his face. Another primal scream is let out by Low Ki as he looks to again repeat his beating but the referee again has to get in between the two gladiators. The cage door opens and the outside referee hands Low Ki his prize, the X Division gold. They place it around his waist as he looks down on Kazarian crumpled almost in the fetal position trying to still protect himself as Ki is announced the winner and new champ.

Match #6
AJ Styles vs. The Monster Abyss

images
vs.
images

These two men have already put on one of the greatest cage matches ever seen. That war was over who would be the #1 contender for the World title. This tiem its more personal, as the Unbreakable 3 have made it their mission to stamp out whatever is left of Immortal, and that is Jeff Hardy and the monster. Abyss wants blood to for what the Unbreakable 3 did to bring a halt to their control, and AJ Styles was going to pay.

James Mitchell leads the Monster out while the fans go absolutely crazy for the Phenomenal One. AJ stops short of the door as the Monster urges him to come into his own private slaughterhouse. Mitchell on the outside tells AJ he’s going to be crucified inside the steel structure. But this is where it gets interesting.

AJ grabs Mitchell by the throat. Abyss wants to protect his master but AJ tells him to stay in the cage or he’ll take him out. Abyss doesn’t know what to do and rattles the cage in anger. AJ then hits Mitchell with the StylesClash on the floor!!!!

Abyss comes storming out of the cage where AJ is ready for him, ducks a buig right hand and hits the Pele! The Monster is stunned and AJ ascends the cage wall and stands in the corner looking down. Abyss gets his bearings but Styles flies through the air and crashes down on the monster taking him out!!!! Styles gets to his feet slowly but the fans power him up and he roars as he kicks the monster in the gut and throws him head first into the steel steps! AJ is a beast as he rolls Abyss in and drives heavy elbow strikes into Abyss’ forehead. The Monster can’t get to his feet and AJ hits the diving springboard forearm smash!

AJ comes again but this time Abyss out of desperation springs up and hits the Black Hole Slam! But eh is too hurt to capitalize and both men are down. The y both get to their feet and put on a display of brutality as they use every inch of the cage to their advantage. Abyss is power bombed off the top rope! AJ is hit with a chokeslam off the top of the cage!! Abyss uses his power and throws AJ into the steel busting him open. Blood pours out as the Monster starts hacking away and using the cage as a cheese grater.

But AJ fights back and the two men are caught up in a fist fight, but AJ again goes down to a lariat. Abyss looks to finish and throws AJ into the ropes for the Black Hole Slam, but AJ hits a cross body and then climbs the turnbuckles. Spiral Tap!!!

1..2..3!

Winner: AJ Styles
16:38

AJ is helped out of the ring by the two referees as his face is a crimson mask. The Monster stirs but can’t get up as AJ’s hand is raised in victory as the fans go crazy! But down the ramp walks Jeff Hardy. He doesn’t run, but stalks AJ and as soon as the refs turn him up the ramp he is met with a kick to the gut and the Twist Of Fate! Styles is sprawled out on the steel ramp as Hardy gets booed.

Hardy walks over to the commentary position, he rips the headset off of Mike Tenay and yells into it. “Joe! You see that?! You see! Tonight I’m going to take back what is mine! I will show you the true meaning of a superstar, because I’m going to burn you up in that cage!”

He throws the headset at Tenay and walks off in a rage as officials and EMTs rush to help AJ.

We then go to a video package of the recent battles between the four top talent in TNA who have swapped victories. Shawn Hernandez, super powerful, vicious high flyer. Desmond Wolfe, deviously brilliant technician. The Pope D’Angelo Dinero, the most pimptastic player in the game. And Rob Van Dam, the Whole Dam Show. The number one contendership to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship is on the line inside the six sides of steel.

The bell rings and Wolfe immediately walks over to big Hernandez and whispers in his ear. There seems to be some acknowledgement and Dez goes straight for RVD, while Wolfe attacks Pope. But Dez and Wolfe seem to be working as a team and they hit double teams on the two men one after the other. Dez throws Pope and RVD into the steel wall like a dart and when the bounce off are met by big time Euro uppercuts! These two men look to eliminate the competition and are doing well at it!

But with the crowd behind them, the super over Pope and RVD fight back and dish out their own brand of double teams that bring the fans to their feet. Big time shoulder tackle from Pope. Leaping off the ropes thrust kick from Van Dam put their opponents down. Rolling Thunder, followed by Pimp Drop and the “faces” are in control!

But when Rob looks for the cover, Pope is forced to break it up and the match turns to chaos as just as it was meant to be, it becomes every man for himself. Pope and Rob exchange but are run over by the 18 wheeler truck, Hernandez. But Wolfe knocks him silly with a lariat! All four men look for the win hitting their finishers in side the cage. They fly high and throw each other all over the ring, when big Dez climbs to the top and leaps off it! He farshes down on everyone except RVD, who does the same but with his spectacular 5 Star Frog Splash on Wolfe…1…2…3!

Winner and #1 Contender: Rob Van Dam
17:49

Rob celebrates with the thumbs and the fans go crazy as we go backstage and get interviews from both Daniels and Angle. Both men say they are the best and tonight they will be victorious.

Match #8
Kurt Angle vs. Christopher Daniels

images
vs.
images

The fans go ballistic as the former multi-time World Champion rises from his elevator. Then out walks the Fallen Angel amongst black smoke, he walks out with his face covered and his arms outstretched. He gets to the bottom of the ramp and slowly reveals his face….laughing. He takes off his long black and silver robe, continues to laugh at Kurt. Angle isn’t impressed and calls him into the cage. Daniels tells the ref to get him back so he can step in, but Angle rushes him and all the ref can do is ring the bell. Angle rains down heavy handed blows right into the side of Daniels’ head. Kurt Irish whips Daniels into the ropes and Daniels grabs them and slides out of the ring. The fans boo him as he holds his jaw and his head, and watches out for Kurt. Angle follows him out and walks right into a huge open palm strike. Kurt staggers back, but is now pissed off and as he turns, Daniels has already slithered into the ring. Angle follows him again, and Daniels catches him with a rockbottom variation into a backbreaker over his knee! Kurt writhes in pain on the mat as Daniels rests on the ropes before stomping away at Kurt’s neck.

Daniels ties up Angle's arm and he gloats, calling himself the next world champion. Daniels takes Angle down with an arm drag, but he fights out with a headscissors. Daniels floats over into another arm bar and continues to work on Kurt, trying to wear him down. Both men look as confident as any wrestler has ever looked. Hardy climbs the turnbuckles declaring himself the anti Christ of pro wrestling! The crowd is 100% behind Joe and “Joe’s gonna kill you” chant is deafening. The official introductions are made, Joe punches the mat and points to Hardy. The referee holds the belt up in the air, but Hardy grab it and hits Joe in the face before the bell can sound! Joe drops to a knee as Hardy pounces on him and kicks away at Joe’s temple!!

The Joe is stunned and Hardy hits a big dropkick, sending Joe stumbling inot the ropes and bouncing into a leaping spinning clotheline!! The ref rings the bell as Hardy makes the cover

1

Joe pushes Hardy off, spins to his knees and explodes off his heels with a huge shoulder tackle knocking Hardy off his feet and through the ropes into no mans land. Joe is a rabid beast and goes after him with nothing but bad intentions. Hardy gets to his feet only to have Joe in his face and grabbing his hair smashes the back of the charismatic enigma’s head into the cage! Joe then arms drags Hardy back inot the ring and hits a big time punt kick right to the ribs!

Joe roars and starts brutally beating Hardy with the stiffest kicks and elbow strikes. He roars with each shot and drives Hardy down into the corner. Joe moves in but the Hardy drop toe holds Joe face first into the turnbuckles! Joe is busted open only seconds into this match! Blood drips from a gapping gash in the side of his face as Hardy runs up the ropes and leaping into the air drops a knee right to the back of Joe’s neck! Joe falls in a heap on the mat. Hardy quickly rolls him over and covers him.

2

Joe kicks away as Hardy watches the 300 pounder get to his feet, and hits a jawbreaker and then whips him into the corner and as Joe bounces out strikes with a leaping leg lariat!!!!!

2

Joe lifts the shoulder as Hardy gets up and poses to the enormous crowd. Hardy whips Joe into a corner and follows up with a leaping knee strike to the crimson mask of Joe. Joe falls like a tree and Hardy looks down laughing at him. He drops down and starts choking Joe, and when the ref tells him to stop, he grabs his forearm and rakes the open cut. Joe slaps Hardy away as he covers up holding his face in intense pain. Hardy laughs as he shows the blood on his hands..

Joe pulls himself up in the corner as Hardy attacks again, running in, but is caught with a lifting slam! Hardy hits the mat hard, back first but Joe bleeding profusely drops to a knee and reaches for his towel and wipes his face, as Hardy attacks with a shot to the back. Hardy then goes for a Twist of Fate to finish, but Joe pushes away and starts slapping away at Hardy bashing him with open palm thrusts into a corner.

Joe then backs him into the corner and hits a spinning enzaguri kick to the face. Hardy slumps in the corner and the fans go crazy as they know the face wash is coming. Once, twice, thrice. Joe then explodes off the ropes with a super-facewash. Hardy’ face is almost ripped off and Joe wipes the blood off his face and starts driving fists into the top of Hardy’ skull. Hardy is then stuck in a front face lock and Joe starts bludgeoning him with heavy knee strikes. One after the other Joe opens the top of Hardy’ head open and as Joe gets to his feet Hardy has to come with him and crashes down with a suplex.

Hardy now has blood streaming from his wound as both men are a bloody mess. Joe follows up the suplex with a back senton splash and then a chain of different submissions (boston crab, STFO, and a crossface). Hardy reaches the ropes and tries to escape by rolling away from Joe. But Joe sees this and does the same and stops him on the apron picks him up and in an amazing spot powerbombs him through the cage door!!!!

The door opens up and Hardy crashes out onto the floor! Joe goes out after him and grabs a chair. The referees tell him to get back into the cage but Joe wants to inflict some damage. He grabs Hardy by both legs and swings him like a sack of potatoes head and shoulder first into the guardrail! Joe then sets up the chair and walks over to Hardy. The ref threatens to disqualify Joe, but the big man tells the ref to “relax”. Joe sits Hardy down and with thousands of fans singing “Ole, Ole,Ole, Ole”, Joe drives the heel of his boot into the side of Hardy’s head crushing it into the steel!

Hardy is out and the guardrail actually rips from it’s steel hinges into the laps of the fans! Joe rolls Hardy back into the ring and looks down at him. Joe roars at the ref and says “ASK HIM!” The ref asks Hardy if he wants to quit. Hardy swats at the ref and the ref signals to the timekeeper the match continues. Underneath his bloody face, Joe smirks and then drops a knee into the back of Hardy’ head. “ASK HIM” he screams again and the ref again asks Hardy if he wishes to quit. Hardy crawls away trying to escape the beating he is receiving at the hands of his nemesis. Joe hits a kick that sounds like a gunshot, the fans as one recognise how much that would have hurt Hardy, and Joe makes the cover.

2

Hardy left foot hits the ropes to break the count and Joe is not happy. He drags Hardy to his feet and humiliates Hardy by paint brushing his face with slaps trying to wake the man up. Joe sees Hardy’ eyes open and Joe smiles and runs the ropes to come off with a big time decapitation clothesline to finish the match. But Hardy ducks it and Joe runs into the ropes so hard he bounces off them and lands on the mat with a thud. Hardy sees his opportunity. Whisper in the Wind!

Joe roars again and unleashes a barrage of stomps! Joe then runs back and then charges in to crush Hardy in the corner. But Jeff has other ideas and out of desperation pulls the referee in between him and Joe! The ref is smashed and the referee goes down as Hardy then pokes Joe in the eye with his thumb. Joe grabs his eye in pain as the Anti-Christ dives out of the ring, and snatches the World title off the timekeeper’s table and slides back into the ring. The crowd screams trying to warn Joe, But Hardy has him lined up.

Peep's Lockdown Review

I'm not a very big TNA fan and because of this I haven't read much of your thread Grand, but I am familiar with most of the wrestlers on the roster so it won't be hard for me to be able to jump right in. Well, lets get to it...

* First thing - presentation. Right off the bat the show doesn't look very appealing, if I didn't know you were a great writer, I wouldn't read this. Have the 'TNA presents...' heading in large font, maybe a colour that goes with the theme of Lockdown, a different font. The poster is a nice touch, but it would be cool to have a little intro video to the show, little touches like that make it so much more enjoyable to read. I think the biggest thing you need to do is add colour, a different font and most of all - maybe get a graphics master like Jam to whip you up some match cards, a lot better than the tacky images.

* I maybe would have picked a different match for the opener, but I like this combination, I usually hate big men matches but I like Lashley and Morgan together. I liked the brutality of the finish and the win for Morgan, he could be a big star, but wasn't sure whether the match was in full or not. If it was the match would have lasted around a couple of minutes. Maybe do a little recap then write the finish out in full, like you did or right it all out in full. The Jarrett/Morgan feud could be good, maybe Jeff throws a variety of new stars at the big man which he has to fend off - should be good!

* I really enjoyed the Knockouts match here, it was brutal women's match that you wouldn't normally see in the WWE or anywhere else. Angelina looked smart in working over the knee and held her own until she was destroyed with that move from the top rope, loved the finish. I was about to say you need to move Tara away from Love and Velvet and Hamada seems like the perfect choice - that kick and powerbomb to both members of the Beautiful People was cool, as she both took out the trash and sent a message to the champion.

* I wasn't really feeling that Frankie Kazarian promo, but it does hype up his match quite well. Not much to say here, Austin Aries takes the number one contendership, he is a great talent so a feud with either Kaz or Low Ki would be nice.

* The tag teams! My favourite bit about TNA, this match has been over done however and it was obvious, yet a great choice, that the Guns would win this one. Moving them away from Beer Money is the right move. Brutal match and I really enjoyed it, interesting that the Guns are heel in your reality, looking forward to who challenges them next.

* I think you need to work on your promos, maybe even do the interviews in full for your next PPV? Low Ki sounded fierece. Really enjoyed this match as well, Low Ki looked beastly as he just destroyed Kaz at the end there with strikes. Low Ki is set to face Austin Aries next, wonder if you play up the pretty boy aspect to him as well.

* Again, you said this match went for sixteen minutes but it felt around three, dunno if you were writing the finish but it seemed as if you were describing the entire match. Right move here in putting AJ over Abyss, maybe have the monster take a break for a while and return, refreshed. Hardy makes sure Immortal isn't forgotten. The final three matches were well written but it was a bit of an overload, I felt a little overwhelmed by the amount of 10+ and 20+ minute matches all at once. Daniels, RVD and Joe were all the right choices.

Overall:
It was a good show Grand but you need to fix some things up. I hope you follow the points aboutmatch lengths/recaps, the promos and the presentation to make this project as good as it can be.

The latest episode of TNA Impact is the aftermath of Lockdown and starts with a video piece on the results from the supercard. (For results see previous review from wrestleZone reporter).

The pyro goes off in the arena and out walks the Unbreakable 3 walking out to a huge ovation from the fans. Joe with the World title over his shoulder is smiling after he defeated Jeff hard inside the steel cage. All three members of the stable won their matches at Lockdown, with Styles over Abyss and Daniels over Angle. The team right now seems to be invincible.

Joe congratulates Styles and Daniels on their victories and says that the locker room and TNA management have finally got the message. The Unbreakable 3 are all about TNA, taking it to a new level and making sure the very best take on the very best.

He pauses and tells Joe that at Sacrifice, he’s going to beat him and become Champion. Joe tells RVD that he’s as good in the ring as he is with his mouth, so he will happy to defend the title against him, but he let’s Rob know that at Sacrifice he will be walking out still the champion.

Daniels and Styles laugh and shake their heads at Van Dam, but Rob catches this and tells them he’ll beat them too. Daniels and Styles stop laughing and are about to get in Rob’s face when the motor City Machine Guns’ music hits and out walks the World Tag Champions. They say that they hate everyone in that ring, and they are the future and the here and now of the industry. But they say they’ll team with the douche bag dinosaur Rob Van Dam tonight against the Unbreakable 3. they say it’s all about the main events now and that beating the Unbreakable 3 will make them the top dogs around TNA. Joe agrees to the match and RVD gives the thumbs to Joe as Impact goes to commercial.

So tonight he takes out his frustrations out on him.

Match #4
Bobby Lashley vs. Desmond Wolfe w/ Chelsea

He calls out Jarrett and demands a title shot as he is the biggest and baddest man on the planet and would easily kick the head of the champion off his body and become the Champion of the world.

Jarrett finally comes out with security and tells Morgan he was impressed at Lockdown and next week he will give him another opportunity to get his title shot. He then says that he hopes he’ll be fit and healthy next week. Morgan doesn’t understand the last comment and Jarrett points behind him. Morgan turns to see that Lashley was back in the ring, kicks Morgan in the gut and smashed Morgan into the canvas with the Dominator!!!

Backstage RVD is being interviewed about being the challenger to the world title and tonight’s 6 man tag. Rob talks about being amazing and how he is going to show the Unbreakable 3 that the are no match for the Whole Dam Show. In a super main event all 6 man take to the air, even the 280 pound World Champion! The Guns get themselves back in the spotlight by attacking Joe on the outside, which of course brings Styles and Daniels back into it. All 6 men hit their finishers in an absolutely amazing ending sequence which sees RVD and Joe again spill to the floor and Shelley getting caught with a Styles Clash while Daniels drives a high knee strike right between the eyes of Sabin to keep him from breaking up the pin! 1.2.3

Joe though is not convinced as he has now had a taste of what the Whole Dam Show is capable of…

Jeff Jarrett, TNA Founder stated “this is indeed has been an amazing few months for TNA, and I want to thank all those who have been involved and who have taken the company to the next level.”]

The Unbreakable 3 t-shirts are still on back order as ShopTNA.com cannot keep up with demand as the company continues to grow its fan base thanks to TNA creative keeping the in ring product as its priority.

WWE had its yearly “spring clean” and future endeavoured some of their most promising talent. Names like Chris Masters, David Hart-Smith and Melina were apart of this and could very well be brought into TNA as all three were known for their wrestling abilities which is what TNA Wrestling is concentrating on and made as their priority for the current direction.

Rumours continue to circulate about Daniel Bryan and Gail Kim who asked for their release and tweeted about making “impacts” two months ago. With current ratings sky rocketing due to the new direction, the alternative wrestling product TNA have been providing ahs been a hit.

Kurt Angle to be at Impact this week

Last week's episode of TNA Impact, Kurt Angle was noticeably absent. He was defaeted at Lockdown by Unbreakable 3 member, the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels in a MOTY contender.

Angle is scheduled to have an in ring promo this coming episode of TNA Impact. Angle was obviously furiious with himself at Lockdown when he lost the match, when he punched the mat and watched Daniels back up the ramp in victory.

What will Angle have to say? Does he want a rematch? Will he create his own team to combat the so far unstoppable force that si the Unbreakable 3? Many rumours are flying around.

Tune in to Spike TV on Thursday...

new_tna_logo.jpg

The rating continue to climb for TNA as their new direction has made them go from 1.2 with Hogan and Bischoff at the helm to a 3.9 in only two months! (Please visit the Book This Lounge sub forum for updates on current ratings.)

The company has more than tripled its fan base in such a small amount of time which has been quite unheard of, and last week’s episode didn’t have Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle or Sting on the show. This week we begin with big time pyro and the announcers talking about the Unbreakable 3 and the upcoming World title match between Joe and RVD at Sacrifice. In the ring is JB as he introduces the U3.

And to a huge ovation out to ringside walks Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles. After the enormous reception dies down from the fans, JB interviews the World Champ. Joe talks about TNA and the World title. How it is all about being the best. And being the best is taking on the best. The TNA World title will be the greatest prize in the industry because it will be defended against the greatest. He then talks about Rob Van Dam, and how although personally he doesn’t like him, he respects him, and if that you don’t respect him, he’ll beat you. RVD is a veteran and a star in this industry and one of the very best ever. He fits the criteria and at Sacrifice he will take Rob to his limit and beyond it where RVD will fall to the Champion of the World Samoa Joe…

The fans applaud Joe and back him amongst just as loud RVD chants. JB then says that Styles and Daniels also have something they would like to say. Styles and Daniels take centre stage and say well said to Joe. Daniels then says that with their partner having gold over his shoulder and the fact that Styles and he too are the very best in the world, they should have some also. Styles continues by saying since he pinned the tag team champions last week, and the fact that Styles and Daniels are 3 time former Tag Team Champions, they challenge the Motor City Machine Guns for the tag titles at Sacrifice! The fans are very happy about this as these four men fighting for the titles would be a big time match.

The Tag Champion’s music hits and out walks the Machine Guns who don’t look happy at all. They tell them that last week was a fluke and the douche bag dinosaur Rob Van Dam didn’t have their back and they lost a 6 man match, not a tag team match. They’re win counts for nothing and they’ll have to go to the back of the line.

Daniels clears his throat and tells the Guns that they thought the so called best tag team in the world would be cowards and not accept their challenge. So TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett has booked Styles and Daniels tonight against the team that won the tag team four way match 2 weeks ago, the British Invasion for the title shot at Sacrifice.

The Guns are pissed off and can’t believe it as the Unbreakable 3 music hits and Impact goes to commercial.

Match #1
James Storm w/ Robert Roode vs. The Pope D’Angelo Dinero

We get a video reminding us of how Beer Money was no longer able to compete for the Tag titles while the Machine Guns held them. Then last week they worked together as a unit and Roode picked up a huge victory over Shawn Hernandez.

Tonight it’s Storm’s turn to venture into singles competition against one of the very best in TNA, the Cadillac of pro-wrestling, the Pope! Dinero seems to be more at home in the singles environment and employs a hit and run strategy which sees him dominate most of the match. Storm desperately looks to put Pope down with a superkick, but Dinero catches it spins him around and hits a pimp slap forcing him into the corner.

This sets him up nicely for the DDE finisher, but Roode grabs Storm’s arm and pulls him out of the corner at the last moment. Pope hit the turnbuckles and Storm hits a clothesline to gain control of the match. The ref warns Roode, as Storm pounds away at the head of Dinero with lefts and rights. Storm stes himself.. “BEER!” and Roode on the outside “MONEY!” pumps up the crowd as Storm again looks for the Last Call superkick. Pope ducks it hits the ropes and delivers his high flying shoulder tackle.

Pope then looks to hit his Coronation as Storm is draped on the ropes but Roode steps in the way, and Pope thinks twice. He argues with Roode and demands the ref get him away from ringside. The ref again is distracted and Storm rolls up Pope..1…2.. Pope kicks out but is hit by a Backstabber!

Winner: James Storm
7:22

Roode raises his partner’s hand as they both now have big victories, they high five one another and give the sign of the title as we go backstage.

The British Invasion are with Christy Hemme and they say tonight they wont allow Styles and Daniels to leap frog them in getting a title shot. They are also former tag team champs and they know they can beat the Machine Guns. Tonight they go through Styles and Daniels and at Sacrifice they win the belts back!

Match #2
Austin Aries vs. Kid Kash

Kash with the constant chip on his shoulder comes out and grabs a mic saying he was screwed in the XCape match at lockdown and he wants Aries’ scalp since he’s the man that won it. The #1 contender to the X title, Aries walks out with his “Personal Jesus” music and stomps out and this match gets going straight away. These two X Div gladiators put on a hard hitting match.

They go to the outside and Kash hits the Bank Roll somersault plancha knocking down Aries and brawls all over ringside before bringing him back in and looking for the Money Maker finisher. Aries though blocks it and fights back. Whipping Kash in the corner he catches him with an explosive dropkick and instantly transitions right into a brutal Brainbuster!

Areis exhausted from the non-stop flurry of offence from Kash, sees Kash getting up so punts him in the head! 450 SPLASH! 1.2.3

Winner: Austin Aries
9:53

Aries gets his arm raised after such a grueling match, when the music of the X Division Champion Low Ki walks out. He is seems impressed by Aries’ efforts and nods in approval that their match will be truly the two best guys in the Div. Aries although hurt and tired from his match he sets himself in case Low Ki decides to take advantage.

But it’s the former Champion Kazarian who attacks! From out of the crowd Kazarian jumps the guard rail and knocks Aries down. Fade to Black! Aries is out and Kazarian points at Low Ki giving the sign of the title. Low Ki isn’t impressed and stomps down the ramp, but Kazarian runs off as quickly as he arrived and back through the fans as we go to commercial.

The guitar riff hits and from his unique elevator appears the Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle. There have been a lot of rumors flying around as to what the multi-time World Champion has to say tonight after not appearing last week and his loss at Lockdown to the Fallen Angel.

The fans still pop for him as he stands in the ring, mic in hand. Angle says he has been very impressed with the Unbreakable 3 and how they have changed the face of this company. He has never been friends with either of the three men, Joe especially but he believes in their vision that what happens in the ring is all that matters, wrestling matters. He says a man like Chris Daniels can no longer be held down anymore or anyone else that deserves to be in the main event.

Angle says he is here to wrestle and to take on the great talents here at TNA. That was what he wanted to do when he first arrived, but somewhere along the way his vision was blurred and the money, the fame and the Championships took over. He says he is out here tonight to prove it and that actions will speak louder than words.

Angle pauses but before he can continue the music of former X Division and Tag Team Champion Petey Williams hits. He walks out and says “Blah, Blah, Blah” and that Angle does indeed to put his money where his mouth is. He talks to the audience and says that he is from Canada the greatest Wrestling nation in the world and he is superior to the American hero. He says he could beat Angle any day of the week, but he has ducked him for the last six years. Williams walks up to Angle and says that he hasn’t got the guts to face him. He again talks to the audience disrespecting Angle and says that everyone knows that Angle not only can’t beat him, but due to Angle’s neck history would not walk out of the ring because he has the Canadian Destroyer.

Angle stays calm and allows the younger brash wrestler to speak his mind. He then quietly but firmly says, “Petey Williams, I challenge you to a match right here tonight on Impact.”

Williams with a sly smile shakes his finger and tells Angle that it doesn’t work that way and that if Angle truly wants to wrestle and not step on everyone else here in TNA, then he’ll make the match next week. The still calm Angle agrees and says next week Petey Williams the Canadian Destroyer vs. The Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle right here on TNA Impact.

Angle’s music hits, Williams throws down his mic and walks off as the crowd chant Angle’s name and he gets up on the turnbuckles thanking them.

Boom! Williams has pulled again off the ropes and he has landed on top of his head! The music stops the fans boo and Williams waits like a vulture. Angle grabs the back of his head slowly gets to his feet, Petey flashes him the evilest of smiles drives his boot into the gut of Angle and sets him up. The fans boo as he savors the moment.

CANADIAN DESTROYER!!!

The sick flip pile driver crashes the skull of Angle into the mat, compacting his neck. Angle goes limp, as security and officials run out from everywhere. Williams screams at the fans “There’s the American Hero!” and walks off as a wave of people run passed him to check on Angle. Petey raises his arms in the air as he is satisfied with his actions as Impact goes to commercial.

When we return, Angle is being stretchered off as during the break EMTs rushed to his aid. The former Champion is unconscious and the cameras stay with him as he is put in the ambulance and rushed to hospital. Replays of the Destroyer play over and over…

Match #3
KnockOuts Championship Match
Champion Tara vs. Hamada

A rematch from Destination X as these two amazons go at once again. Both are extremely powerful look to take the other one out quickly. Hamada lands some brutal buzz saw kicks, while Tara uses her strong style elbow strikes and suplexes to show why she is the Champ.

They run the ropes and both hit cross bodies and they are both down. The ref makes a count but when he gets to 4.. the Beautiful People’s music hits. I’m sure the ratings go up every time Velvet Sky comes down the ramp! They make their way to ringside and sarcastically cheer on both ladies to get up.

Hey play to the crowd as Hamada and Tara are confused as to why they are out there but then Hamada wants the title and attacks. Tara goes down and Moonsault connects! 1..2..

Love breaks it up and the ref calls for the bell.

No contest
5:09

Love and Sky double team Hamada and hit her with a double Botox Injection sabot kick. They then double suplex Tara on Hamada and dust off their hands as their music plays and they stand tall in the ring.

The commentary team continue talking about Kurt and reply the destroyer again in slow motion from different angles. Due to the severity of the impact on Kurt’s neck, Tenay, Borash and West speculate it could be career ending…

A replay of last week where Morgan distracted Lashley and Desmond Wolfe got the victory. Then after kicking Lashley onto the floor, Jeff Jarrett walked out and said that he would get another opportunity at getting a World title shot, as long as he stays healthy. Lashley then gets back into the ring and hits the Dominator on Morgan, folding him up like a 7 foot long accordion!

Match #4
Matt Morgan vs. ?

Morgan walks out grabs a microphone and says Jarrett didn’t tell him all week who he was facing tonight. So he demands his opponent to come out so he can kick his ass.

Jarrett appears on the big screen and says that Morgan is indeed a main eventer, and deserves another chance at getting a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. So who better to pit him against than the current #1 contender, Rob Van Dam!

Matt Morgan vs. Rob Van Dam

RVD walks out with his usual smile and does the thumbs as Morgan tries to hide his anger. Morgan paces in the ring and shakes it off realizing if he beats the number 1 contender and RVD wins the belt, he would be next in line. He is ready to go. But Jarrett isn’t done.

“Oh Matt, I forgot to mention, it’s a hardcore match!”

The fans go crazy and RVD leaps off the ropes immediate and puts the big man down with a flying thrust kick to the chest!!! Rolling Thunder and Rob gets a two count. Morgan rolls out of the ring holding his sternum as Rob flies over the ropes and crashes down on top of Morgan!! The fans go wild as RVD does his thumbs again and keeps the pressure on with a drop kick and then front suplexes him over the guard rail. He unleashes his leaping spin kick on the back of the 7 footer and Morgan crashes back into ringside!

RVD talks to the camera tells Joe to “watch this!” and grabs a chair throws it to Morgan who catches it and then blasts him with a van Daminator!! Morgan is busted open as Rob continues his full on assault and hits move after move only getting two counts.

Rob looks to finish, but Morgan desperately lunges onto the ropes, and Rob is crotched on the turnbuckle. Morgan then hits a big time clothesline and Rob goes crashing all the way down to the floor!

Morgan is now in control and grabs chairs and steel steps looking to take out the next in line to the World title. A trash can to the head, and then he places the can over Rob and then hits the Carbon footprint!!!

He rolls Rob back in gets a 2 count only. Morgan hits the backward elbow strikes in the corner and then the sidewalk slam for another two count. Morgan looks at his imaginary watch and drops down and finds himself a table. He sets it up and looks for the Chokeslam….

But Bobby Lashley walks out and Morgan is distracted for a few seconds. Rob escapes the choke, drops down and drop kicks his left knee. Morgan drops to a knee and gets blasted in the face with a double dropkick. RVD puts Morgan on the table as the fans go batshit crazy.

5 Star Frog Splash though the table!!!!! …1…2…3!

Winner: Rob Van Dam
11:41

Rob’s music hits, Lashley smiles and Morgan, half conscious can only stare at the lights as another chance at the World title flies away. A camera shot of Jarrett watching the monitor with a smile on his face is briefly shown as Rob gain celebrates as we go to a commercial.

When we return RVD is being interviewed backstage by Christy Hemme. He says that he is coming for Samoa Joe and at Sacrifice he will be once again the TNA Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Match #5
Desmond Wolfe vs. Masato Yoshino

Wolfe laughs at Yoshino and demands a microphone. He says that he is still ticked off that RVD has a world title shot when he pinned his shoulders at Destination X. Last week he was booked in a match against Lashley and now he has to wrestle. .”this”, he points at Yoshino. “Sunshine, you’re not even in my Division!” But the Speedstar has had enough and hits the ropes and dropkicks Wolfe down so hard hard it sends him flying out of the ring!

The ref rings the bell and Wolfe is livid. He rips off his jacket and flings it to the ground. His eyes look like they are about to pop out of his head and he stomps into the ring determined the beat Masato to a pulp. But Yoshino has other plans and keeps blasting Desmond with move after move thanks to his blistering speed.

Wolfe is blown away, he cannot seem to get any offence in, and out of frustration rolls out of the ring. Yoshino comes out after him which is his biggest mistake… Wolfe suckers him in and drills him with a lariat. Wolfe shakes off the pain and rolls the smaller man inot the ring and starts stretching him. He beats on him, and trash talks him, saying he needs to learn a lesson. The ref even asks Wolfe to pin him because Wolfe is bordering on torture! Wolfe will not stop, he is vicious and keeps drilling Yoshino as the fans rain down boos on the Englishman…

Wolfe finally hits the Jawbreaker Lariat and then locks in the London Dungeon arm submission which Masato finally taps out.

Winner: Desmond Wolfe
6:49

Wolfe is booed as Chelsea puts his jacket on him. Wolfe looks down at Yoshino and then looks into the camera as if he is staring at TNA management, telling them don’t mess with him, don’t disrespect him ever again, because he is the most dangerous man in TNA…

Backstage AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels say they wont the tag team belts and tonight if they have to go through the British Invasion, then that’s what they will have to do. Daniels says that he defeated Kurt Angle at Lockdown, inside a cage. He will not stop and he wants all the gold and tonight they will take out the Brits and wear gold.

Main Event
#1 Contenders match for TNA World Tag Team Championships
The British Invasion (Magnus/Doug Williams) vs. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels

The fans are on their feet when Styles and Daniels again come to ringside. The two superheroes are greeted by a deafening roar from the fans. Magnus and Williams do their best to quiet the crowd but the high flying double teams and spectacular moves keep the crowd cheering.

Both teams are former tag champs and Williams uses his technical skill to ground AJ and then the power of Magnus almost clothelines Daniels out of his boots! But Styles and Daniels fire back with a Blue Thunder Driver and a frog splash to get them a 2 count.

Styles and Daniels are in complete control, when out walk the Machine Guns. They hit the ring and distract Styles and Magnus hits a shot to the back of the head and rolls him up.

Daniels makes the save and then dives over the top rope taking out Shelley and Sabin. Pele from out of nowhere!!!! Styles Clash!!!!

1.2.3

Winners and new #1 contenders: AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels
12:32

Styles and Daniels get their hands raised as the Guns pick themselves up and curse them… the crowd cheers again as Styles and Daniels give the sign of the belts as Impact comes to a close.

Latest news stories about the TNA Wrestling Matters direction and how their ratings continue to sky rocket

WrestleZone said:
Angle / Williams segment a ratings smash

Last week’s Impact episode featured the confrontation between Kurt Angle and Petey Williams which became a ratings smash hit and a huge talking point over the internet.

Angle arguably TNA’s biggest star was interrupted by Petey Williams, a TNA original who had only recently returned to the company. Both men’s paths had not crossed due to their placement on TNA cards, being in different divisions and Williams’ release from the company some time ago.

Williams since returning has been doing his pro-Canada propaganda gimmick and decided it was time to say these things to the “American Hero” Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. The USA vs. Canada storyline had been very well used for some time over the last few decades in pro-wrestling but TNA upped the ante on this one adding in the fact that Angle, a top name star with a serious history of neck problems, including breaking it twice was up against a low card star who has a finishing move that could end his career.

It went down a hit as Angle was attacked after the promo and was sent to hospital after Williams connecting with his Canadian Destroyer flip pile driver.

Angle expertly took the move from the smaller X Division star and fans cannot wait to see the next part of how this story will play out.

The Wrestling Matters direction continues and the integration of TNA originals into the spotlight is working very well for the company.

Jam's Review

Hey GrandSword, Congratulations again on winning the tournament. Very well written match. Well anyway, I'm not gonna be talking about any particular showed that you posted, but I'll be talking about some wrestlers individually instead if that's alright with you.

First up is RVD. RVD is always a good draw and seeing him back in the title picture is good to see. However, I was kind of not rooting for him at Lockdown to be the #1 Contender. I honestly wanted Pope or Wolfe to win that. But with the storyline that you have come up with, I can see why you went with RVD.

MCMG - Impressive tag team as always. I like how they went over Beer Money at Lockdown because that was the right move. Both are pretty young but impressive in the ring. I really like them, probably my favorite tag team from TNA. Them against Styles and Daniels will be interesting. Because of the Unbreakable 3 angle you have going on, if MCMG win against Styles and Daniels that could very well propel them to the top.

Kurt Angle - Was rooting for him to win against Daniel but again I can see why you had him lose. However, Angle's stock doesn't go down even if he loses so smart move there, I guess. His current feud is really interesting.

Petey Williams - The Canadian Destroyer. Angle's neck problems are well-documented and you chose Petey to have a feud with him because of his finisher and Angle's neck problems. This is a pretty smart move to get Petey over. Not much to say about Petey as I haven't seen him much.

Matt Morgan - He's probably my favorite character in your thread right now. He's a beast in the ring and his 7 foot frame just helps that even more. I could see Morgan being a serious challenger for Samoa Joe. Book This bro!

Beer Money - I think it's interesting that you've kept them together but not as a tag team, but as buddies who help each other out during singles action. I'm a big fan of Roode so it's cool to see him having a singles career.

Low Ki - I like that you took the strap off of Kazarian because I don't like him that much. Low Ki is a perfect champion for the X-Division. And with the direction that you're going, Low Ki should provide some excellent matches with Austin Aries.

Tips
- Dude, when you have graphics, I think you should really ask me or Theo because it adds something to the show. It makes a difference. I know I've been busy but I can work something out for ya.

- Fix your presentation. Like after a quoted match, the next line of text is too far down and should be moved up. Presentation is a big thing, well for me. It shows that you're professional and that you actually make the effort to get the little things done right.

- I like the updates that you post. It gives a professional, more official feel to your thread. So keep that up. Just keep doing what you do man, I'll be reading. Cheers!

Review by WrestleZone Reporter

The shocking Canadian Destroyer on the injured neck of Kurt Angle is played over and over in the opening package of this week’s episode to set the scene.

This week’s episode of Impact doesn’t start with its usual pyrotechnics, instead we have Jeremy Borash in the ring and he introduces the TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett who walks down to the ring in a very serious mood. Jarrett addresses the fans that Kurt Angle is still in hospital and is only just getting back feeling in his feet and hands. Over the last week he has asked Petey Williams to explain his actions and he has told him that he will do so in the ring this week. Jarrett calls Williams to the ring to “explain himself”.

The Canadian Destroyer himself makes his way down the ramp and stands in the ring with the company founder. Williams says he has some footage in the truck he would like Jarrett to witness first of all.

On the big screen the replay of last week where Angle says “Next week Kurt Angle vs. Petey Williams…” He looks at Jarrett and says looks like he wins by default. He now has a victory over Kurt Angle, he tells Jarrett to raise his hand…

Jarrett ignores him and tells him again to explain himself! Williams asks Jarrett why the hell does he have to explain himself to him or anyone. He says that he only did what Samoa Joe did to Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Jeff hardy only weeks ago. And Joe is now Champion of the World. He says that this company rewards these kinds of actions. Williams even quotes ratings figures and how he’s got people talking about TNA more than ever.

Jarrett says that Williams may have cost a man his career, that man being one of this industry’s biggest stars. Williams retorts by saying, “well there’s a vacancy in the main event then, and I want it!”. Williams says that he only did what the Unbreakable 3 are doing and stepping up and taking on those top guys who have been ducking him for the last 5 years. Williams says that Jarrett wuill not have any double standards around here, and that he will get exactly what the Unbreakable 3 received and that’s a shot at the big time which is exactly what Petey Williams deserves.

Jarrett pauses and asks Williams if that’s what he wants. Williams says yes. Jarrett pauses again, thinks and then smiles. He tells Petey then that’s exactly what he will get. Tonight, live on Spike TV’s Impact, in the main event… Petey Williams will go one on one with the World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe!

Williams looks as if he has bitten off more than he can chew and the announce team say the obvious “be careful what you wish for” line as Impact goes to commercial.

The commentary team also talk about tonight’s co-main event as Alex Shelley will go one on one with the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels…

Match #1
Robert Roode w/ James Storm vs. Bobby Lashley

Beer Money last week continued their run of wins as they are now in the singles heavyweight division due to the stipulation brought down on them by the Tag Champions the Machine Guns by still acting as a team and ensuring each team member gets the “W”. This week Roode goes up against the powerhouse Lashley who seems very savvy to Storm on the outside and talks to the ref about him before the match gets under way.

Lashley dominates the opening minutes. Roode fires back but he can’t sustain any real lengthy amount of offence as Lashley cuts him down with his big time clotheslines and powerslams. Roode regroups on the outside trying to draw the attention of the referee with him while Storm looks to sneak attack Lashley, but the Cowboy is put down. Lashley tells the ref and he runs over and tells Storm to leave ringside!

Storm complains as the ref looks to eject him, when Matt Morgan sneaks in the back door, smashes Lashley in the back of the skull with the Carbon Footprint!!! Storm points to the ring as the ref turns to see Roode rolling up the big man..1..2..3!

Winner: Robert Roode
6:39

Morgan out of the corner of the camera can be seen exiting through the crowd as Storm raises Roode’s arm in victory as Beer money Inc. get another win!

Backstage Christy Hemme is with the Champion of the World, Samoa Joe. Joe says that tonight he is happy to take the match. He understands Petey Williams’ frustration and congratulates him on being in tonight’s main event. Joe says he also wants to thank Jarrett for giving him an opponent very similar in styles to the #1 contender RVD, as RVD is a known high flyer and Petey is also. But also thanks Jarrett because even though Joe and Angle never saw eye to eye he respects the man and can’t wait tonight to destroy Petey for the cowardly act he did to Kurt last week. “Joe’s gonna kill you…”

Match #2
Tara and Hamada vs. the Beautiful People

Tara and Hamada spend the whole match watching if their partner will stab them in the back. This is a rematch from a month ago on Impact where Hamada attacked Tara and left her laying. This distracts each of them and they are never able to focus. The match ends when Hamada is too busy keeping an eye on Tara that she doesn’t see Love deliver the Botox Injection kick!

Winners: The Beautiful People
4:54

Love and Sky celebrate and trash talk their opponents, Love gives the sign of the belt as they walk up the ramp in victory. Tara looks down disappointingly at Hamada stirring on the mat. Widows Peak!!!! The Knocks Out Champion connects with her devastating finisher putting down the female buzzsaw. Tara says its payback for last time…

Backstage Christy interviews Bobby Lashley as he is being looked at by medical staff. Lashley is livid and he pushes them away and says that Morgan is going to regret his actions tonight, and says that he challenges him to a match at Sacrifice to settle their feud once and for all!

Elsewhere Backstage Desmond Wolfe and Chelsea are with Jeremy Borash. Wolfe says he can’t believe that even though at Destination X he defeated Rob Van Dam, but RVD gets the title shot and not Wolfe. JB reminds him about the #1 contender’s fatal four way at Lockdown, but Wolfe wont hear it and says that if wrestling matters then it should be him facing Joe for the title and becoming the next Champion of the World.

But the interview is interrupted by the Pope, who tells Wolfe that his dance card is free at Sacrifice, he wouldn’t mind pimp slapping him at the ppv and stealing his girl from him. Pope throws Chelsea behind him and tells the “Poop” that at Sacrifice he is going to take his frustrations out on him and take his head off. Pope stands eye to eye with him and unleashes his big pearly whites. Wolfe rips off his sunglasses and stares down Pope, but only gets an even bigger smile. Des and Chelsea storm off as Pope looks into the camera and says “Pope is pimpin”…

Match #3
The Amazing Red vs. Shawn Hernandez

Red comes at Big Dez with everything he’s got with high flying attacks that make the crowd go crazy. But Hernandez imposes his mighty will and put Red down with a huge shoulder tackle. Hernandez then proceeds to demolish Red with his power moves and looks to finish.

Dez picks up Red for the Border Toss, but Red turns it into a Hurricanrana and then follows up with the Infrared, 1…2…. Dez kicks out with authority sending Red flying across the ring. But Red comes back and continues to attack as the fans are on their feet looking for the upset.

But Hernandez again cannot be stopped and catches Red in mid air, flings him up onto his shoulders and hits a thunderous sit out power bomb. But refuses to pin the man. Hernandez is not done and this time hits the Border Toss..1..2..3.

Winner: Shawn Hernandez
7:15

Dez celebrates his victory as the commentary team put over how powerful he is and that he no doubt will be gunning for the World title just like the other top contenders here in TNA like Morgan, Pope, Lashley and Wolfe. They then run down the card so far for Sacrifice.

World Championship Match Samoa Joe vs. Rob Van Dam

World Tag Team Match Motor City Machine Guns defends against AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels

The Pope vs. Desmond Wolfe

Bobby Lashley vs. Matt Morgan

And X Division Champion Low Ki vs. Austin Aries

Back at ringside and Austin Aries the #1 contender to the X Division title calls out Kazarian and demands he come down to the ring. Frankie walks out and comes down to ringside but refuses to get in the ring with Aries. Aries says he’s going to kick his ass for attacking him from behind like a coward last week.

Kazarian tells Aries to hold up and tells him he only did it to show that no one gets a title shot before he does. He is the former Champion and he deserves a rematch first. He doesn’t care Aries is the #1 contender, it shouldn’t get in the way of him getting his rematch. Aries says Kazarian is a coward and he’ll just tap as soon as he steps in the ring with Low Ki anyway!

Kazarian is insulted and says then if that’s Aries’ attitude he’ll just add himself to the title match. Aries is about to laugh at Kazarian when Low Ki’s music hits and out walks the X Champion. Low Ki looks down at both men from the top of the ramp and tells them both he wants to see the end of both of them, so he’ll fight them both at Sacrifice.

This seems to have fallen into Kazarian’s grand scheme, as he smiles and tells Low Ki, “great idea champ! Triple threat match at Sacrifice see you both in 10 days!” Aries can’t believe what he’s hearing as Low Ki walks off and Frankie blows the #1 contender a kiss as we go to commercial.

Match #4
Alex Shelley w/ Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels w/ AJ Styles

This match is amazing as both guys are explosive, can mat wrestle, can fly high and can hit strong style high impact moves. The cunning Shelley tries to outsmart Daniels, but the veteran seems to not be able to be outfoxed. Daniels is too smart and counters the moves as Styles keeps an eye on Sabin at ringside making sure he doesn’t get involved.

Shelley hits a superkick and then looks for sliced bread, but Daniels counters with an atomic drop and then an STO into the Koji Clutch. Sabin looks to try and make the save but Styles drags him back and blasts him with a big right hand. Sabin holds his jaw and looks more likely to cry than angry.

Shelley looks for the ropes but Daniels releases the hold?! Shelley is exhausted and happy to be out of the submission move but he lets his guard down and Daniels quickly drags him into the deadly Angels Wings!

Winner: Christopher Daniels

Daniels with a big smile on his face looks down at his fallen opponent as the ref raises his arm in victory. Nodding to his tag partner Styles looks over at Sabin who is still on the ground and almost has a tantrum, as he gets to his feet, drags Shelley out of the ring by his feet and helps him to the back. Daniels and Styles shake hands in the middle of the ring but Styles has a microphone. “Hey Sabin, next week it’s you and me, and I’ll make it two from two boy, and then at Sacrifice we’re taking your titles!”.

Sabin with Shelley under his arm has no comeback as he is forced to retreat as the fans again cheer Styles and Daniels!

Main Event
Non-title match
TNA World Champion Samoa Joe vs. Petey Williams

The boos for Williams are deafening as this one time small time player is now about to take on the World Champion. The pop for Joe’s entrance is huge but when he steps in the ring the “Joe’s gonna kill you” chant is deafening. Williams looks put off by it as Joe checks his wrists as the ref rings the bell. Williams dives out of the ring looking to keep a lot of distance between them as the crowd is on Petey for his cowardice. Joe smirks and even sits on the middle rope to get Williams back into the ring.

After constant stalling, Williams makes it into the ring and Joe shows no mercy. Williams is crafty though and knows it doesn’t matter how powerful the Champion is, he is as weak as everyone when you rake the eyes… and that’s what he does. He rakes the eyes of the champion over and over and delivers a hit and run strategy.

The crowd are booing so loud as Williams even puts the champ on his back and he looks to get the win. Williams is relentless with the eyes but when he goes for the Destroyer he has arrogantly not thought about how heavy Joe truly is. Joe blocks the finisher and now has his hands on Williams.

Powerslam, powerbomb, and now Joe goes into his sequence of submission, torturing Williams. Joe stomps away with facewashes and then huge kicks. Williams is kicked so hard he spills through the ropes and lands on his head on the outside. The crowd roars for Joe as the Champion is now dominating. He rubs his eyes still trying to clear his vision but when he gets on the floor, he is struck in the face by a chair shot!

Winner via Disqualification: Samoa Joe
8:03

Joe drops to a knee, Williams hits him again in the back this time. Joe roars in pain, but gets to his feet searching for Williams. Petey drops the chair and runs off in fear as Joe is livid. The savage World Champion slowly stalks Williams and follows him up the ramp, only to be stopped by the music of the Whole Dam Show, R.V.D.

Rob Van Dam walks out and gets in between Joe and Williams. Williams high tails it, while Joe is confused and pissed off that Rob would use this as an opportunity to put himself over. But Joe knows that’s what Van Dam has been doing his entire career and decides to respond. RVD and Joe are almost nose to nose and Rob decides to taunt Joe with his thumbs… Rob…Van… Elbow Strike! Punt kick to the ribs! Joe grabs Rob by the ponytail and on the stage lifts him up for the Musclebuster but Rob is able to slip out of the move, hit the stage and then explode with a spinning van dominator!

Joe is kicked in the face and he hits the top of the stage and rolls all the way down the steel ramp to the floor. Rob looks down at Joe who is on dream street. RVD does his thumbs this time without interruption as Impact goes off the air.

Bearded Review

-Really love what you are doing with Petey Williams. I've always been fond of the kid and hope to see him rise to the top here. Feuding with Angle will certainly help that.

-Beer Money continues their roll, I dig that as they are by far my two favorite talents in TNA. This can't go on for too long, I expect a breakup sooner rather than later that culminates in the two having a great feud.

-Pope and Wolfe should be a stellar match. I expect something fishy, leading too a further, more in depth feud.

-Hernandez continues his war path. Never really been a fan of the guy, but he certainly has the tools to succeed.

-Sacrifice card is looking solid from top to bottom, excellent work.

-The Guns/U3 thing could really be a show stealer. Everyone in the match can go and I expect they'll be given a load of time at Sacrifice to show it off. Solid match to boot.

-Love Williams antics during his match with Joe, vintage heel approach. Good to see he wasn't pinned and took the cowardly way out. Good ending with RVD to further their inevitable WHC match at Sacrifice.

-Good stuff overall. I'm not keen on the recap match style, but I understand why it is effective. Your writing is absolutely stellar, so I hope to see some more in depth matches along the way. Looking back you seem to use that approach at PPV for the most part, so I'll heavily be looking forward to Sacrifice.

Tonight’s episode of Impact is the go home show to the TNA Wrestling Sacrifice ppv. The show starts tonight with some good old fashioned non-stop action…

Match #1
AJ Styles vs. Chris Sabin

In three days the World Tag Team Champions the Motor City Machine Guns will take on Styles and Daniels for the belts. Last week, the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels defeated Alex Shelley in a great match. Tonight it’s the other partners turn to try and get some momentum moving into Sunday’s Championship match up.

On paper these guys are almost mirror images of each other. They are both multi-time Champions, same weight and height and brilliant technicians and high flyers. Sabin doesn’t wait for the bell and attacks Styles as soon as he gets in the ring. Styles doesn’t even have time to take off his hoodie as Sabin presses the attack, but Styles hits the ropes and does his trademark drop kick sequence sending Sabin to the floor as Styles gets the crowd pumped!

Sabin gets back in and the two lock up and exchange holds looking for an opening. The two get down on the mat and try and put each other into chinlocks or leg locks but the other escapes and they both kip up forcing the stalemate. They both get in each other’s face as Sabin trash talks Styles and Styles laughs at him only get a bitch slap to the face.

Styles is mad now and turns sprints off the ropes and Sabin looks for an arm drag, but Styles blocks it rolls Sabin up for a 2 count. Sabin kicks out gets to his feet and this time he is slapped in the face!

Sabin charges out of anger and is hit with a drop toe hold, Styles quickly comes off the ropes and leaps high and comes down driving the point of his knee into Sabin’s forehead! Sabin rolls away and quickly gets to his feet charges again and ducks a swinging arm of Styles leaps off the second rope and connects with a brutal Tornado DDT!

Styles is down and Sabin climbs the turnbuckles looking to finish off AJ, but Styles moves and rolls out of the way. Sabin although landing on his feet turns right into a Pele from out of nowehere..1…2… Sabin kicks out as AJ pulls him in for a Styles Clash. Sabin drops to a knee and blocks the finisher. AJ bashes his back with heavy elbows and then looks to connect again with the move. Sabin though hits a frankensteiner, rolls AJ into the corner and delivers a running boot to the face!

AJ drops face first on the mat and Sabin drops a leg drop to the back of the head and then rolls him over for a 2 count. Sabin then puts him up for the Cradleshock, but Styles elbows his way out of it and the two hit the ropes and both hit a cross body putting them both down. The ref starts counting to ten and both men get to their feet and Styles leaps up onto the ropes backflips and catches Sabin’s head and looks for his seamless reverse DDT, but Sabin counters by dropping down and snapmaring him away, Sabin runs and bounces off the ropes looking for another Tornado DDT. But Styles catches it in mid air and turns it into a fisherman’s suplex!

Sabin gets to his feet up is blasted by a flying forearm shot! AJ grabs Sabin and sets him for the Styles Clash. But Shelley runs out from the back and clotheslines AJ making the ref to ring the bell.

Winner via dq: AJ Styles
10:46

Shelley hits a superkick and then looks for a Sliced Bread, but out runs the Fallen Angel who slides in and hits an STO on Shelley! Shelley rolls out of the ring with Sabin as they back up the ramp.

But Styles and Daniels demand a mic. Daniels asks where do they think they’re going? He tells them that if they want to do this two on two let’s do it now. The Guns shake their heads, as Daniels says eh thought so. He tells the Guns that in three days they will go head to head with them, and they will become the World tag team champions bringing more gold to the Unbreakable 3.

Shelley has had enough and steals a microphone from the commentary table. Shelley tells Daniels to shut up. He tells Styles and Daniels that for years they have been the top guys in the company, but because of Hogan’s politics they believe they are owed more?! Shelley says that the Motor City Machine Guns are the true dominant force in TNA and in three days it wont be a matter of them retaining the titles, no it is much more to them. It’s about proving to the world who are the better men, who management should be getting behind, and who wrestling fans around the world should now be supporting. Because they are the best tag team in the world and come Sunday when they beat Styles and Daniels, they will be the best in the world, period.

The Champion’s music plays as Styles and Daniels nod their heads. They are impressed by the Machine Guns bravado and can’t wait for Sacrifice.

After the commercial break Petey Williams walks out to the ring and is surrounded by two body guards, his old Team Canada stable mates, Johnny Devine on the left and A1 on the right. Williams makes his way to the ring and has something to say.

Williams says that what he did to Kurt Angle was exactly what Samoa Joe did to Hulk Hogan and Jeff Hardy. But instead of being hailed as a hero, he is now public enemy #1. He has contacted his former brother’s in arms to accompany him everywhere he goes as people at airports or on the street want to attack him for what eh did to Kurt.

Williams says that he did what seems to be common practice around TNA right now and walked up to the guy that had his spot and took it from him. Williams says Canadians are superior to US wrestlers and he proved it by being the Master of the move that ended Kurt’s career.

He has taken his spot by force because for too long he has been held down and it’s time for him to rise to the top. He calls out Jarrett and wants an apology from him and demands main events and title opportunities. “TNA is going to need a new headliner now that Kurt Angle is gone..”

TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett walks out and looks Petey in the eye. He asks Petey what it is exactly that Williams wants? He says that last week he gave him the main event, he gave him a match against the Champion of the World. He gave Williams the biggest opportunity he could give anyone even though he cowardly attacked Kurt Angle from behind and possibly ended the man’s career. But Williams threw it all away. If Williams had beaten Joe he would have leapfrogged everyone and been next in line after Sacrifice for a World title shot. But he threw it away by getting Dq’d. He asks Petey again, what is exactly that he wants from him?

Williams demands respect otherwise more skulls will be planted into the mat. He demands main events or more skulls will be plated into the mat. He demands a top billed match this Sunday at Sacrifice against an opponent, and American opponent so he can show the world just how superior Canadian athletes are.

Jarrett looks at Williams, “You want a match at Sacrifice. You want to wrestle an American at Sacrifice Petey!? Well you’ve got it! Canadian Destroyer Petey Williams you’ve got this man…” Jarrett points to the stage drops the mic and rolls out of the ring, as the arena goes dark. The fans wait in anticipation to see who it is… the crowd chant “Kurt, Kurt, Kurt” as there is an uneasy silence. Suddenly flames shoot continuously from the ramp and a monster’s roar comes through the speakers. The fans are a buzz but quiet and anxious. Spotlight hits the entrance tunnel as the fire stops and a roar from the monster bellows out again… silence …. Until...

The crowd erupts as the tron shows an American flag burst into flames and transform into a Dragon and then out walks the man at one time thought to be too violent for television, the best in the world, Bryan Danielson!!!

Williams is like a deer in the headlights as Danielson looks down at the man who put Angle on the shelf. The music stops and the crowd chants “Dragon, Dragon, Dragon” as Danielson has a mic. He looks out at the fans and says he is here to make an impact! He is here, because this is where wrestling matters. And he is here, to kick Petey Williams’ tail right back to Canada!

The fans hang on every word and cheer him as he says that Williams wanted to fight an American, well he’s got a fight, a fight against the American Dragon, Bryan Danielson and as of right now it’s his final countdown!

Dragon’s music hits again as the fan go crazy as Williams and his two bodyguards are beside themselves looking for Jarrett to blame but all they get is a smile from Danielson who soaks up the moment and points at Williams and then holds up three fingers to say “3 days” as impact goes to commercial.

Back from commercial, Jeff Jarrett is still smiling as he walks into his office to see Rob Van Dam in his chair with his feet on the table. Rob congratulates him on signing Danielson and says he can’t wait to be in the ring with him. He also says that last week Samoa Joe got a warm up match against Petey Williams and asks him if tonight he can get one also against a guy similar to Joe. Jarrett says no problems, RVD always equals ratings for Impact. He runs down Joe’s attributes. Big, powerful, fast, technical and almost impossible to put down. Jarrett books RVD vs. Bobby Lashley. Rob smiles and thanks him as Rob says a good warm up will send a message to Joe just who exactly is coming for him, he does his thumbs “R.V.D.”

Match #2
James Storm w/ Robert Roode vs. Desmond Wolfe w/ Chelsea

Before Wolfe gets in the ring with Storm he trash talks Roode warning him not to interfere in his match or he’ll end him. Roode just chews on his gum and smiles as Chelsea removes Wolfe’s jacket and sunglasses as the Brit gives Roode the forks.

The Tennessee Cowboy and the Lone Wolfe look to try and take the other out. Storm more of a brawler, keeps out of the clutches of the technician and looks to use his fists and clotheslines to gain the advantage. But Wolfe seems to be too clever and once he gets Storm, starts working on his arm possibly looking for a submission victory with the London Dungeon. Wolfe dominates Storm and puts him down with a huge lariat that almost takes his head off!

But with a distraction from Roode, Storm fires back and connects with a desperation Last Call super kick! 1..2… but Chelsea drapes Wolfe’s foot on the ropes stopping the count. Roode goes after the beauty which again distracts Wolfe. Schoolboy!! 1…2… Wolfe kicks out and lariats Storm! Wolfe then slides out underneath the rope and pushes Roode. Pointing his finger at him he tells him that he is not to come any where near Chelsea. The ref starts counting to get Wolfe back into the ring, as Roode realizes and keeps him talking and trying to get near Wolfe’s girlfriend.

The ref’s count is up to 6 as Wolfe now realises and turns to get back in the ring when Roode again grabs at Chelsea. The ref gets in between them, and tells Roode to move away and for Wolfe to get back in the ring. The ref tells Roode to move back as Wolfe steps into the ring face to face with the Pope! Dinero nails him with an inverted DDE (Code breaker) and hides behind the ring. Storm covers him for the 3 count!

Winner: James Storm
7:12

The commentary team say that Wolfe hasn’t been pinned in TNA for months. Beer Money with big smiles on their faces back up the ramp raising their hands in victory as their music plays while Pope on the outside sitting on the floor away from the ref’s eyes laughs. Storm and Roode chalk up another victory over a top contender in TNA.

After the commercial break Roode and Storm walk into the backstage area still buzzing from another big win. But they are met by Jarrett who has his arms crossed. Beer Money look very happy with themselves as Storm has already cracked a beer. As Jarrett has been their friend over the years they off him one to celebrate with them. Jarrett though doesn’t look impressed by their antics over the last month.

The mood changes as Jarrett declines Storm’s beer and says that over the last month the two of them have had huge victories over the Pope, Hernandez, Lashley and Desmond Wolfe. Top guys in this business and they’ve beat them.

Beer Money smile and say “damn right we have.” Jarrett says that because of these big victories that they have “earned” he will give them an enormous opportunity, the chance to become the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship!

Roode and Storm cheer and go crazy. They are over the moon, as they have gone from the top team in the world and now could be the top guy in the sport. They look at Jarrett and ask him what do they have to do because they can beat anyone.

Jarrett says that it’s simple. Since the two of them have both racked up huge wins, they are both equally placed in the rankings since being single stars. Beer Money have huge smiles on their faces. So at Sacrifice for the #1 contendership, it will be James Storm vs. Robert Roode!!!

Both men’s jaw drop! The mood has now totally changed, as they try to argue with Jarrett but he walks off as the former tag team champions and best friends have just put themselves in quite the predicament!!!

Match #3
Shawn Hernandez vs. Doug Williams w/ Magnus

The crafty veteran Williams looks at trying to mat wrestle the big man, and look for a pin or submission. Williams is tough and lands some heavy blows but Hernandez is vicious. He explodes using his immense power and puts down Williams with a series of high impact body slams and power bombs.

Doug tries to fight back but he is overwhelmed by the strength and speed of big Dez and is Border Tossed into the turnbuckles! 1..2… Dez lifts his opponents shoulders! The ref pleads with Dez to end the match but he isn’t done. Magnus on the outside jumps up onto the apron only to receive a forearm shot sending him hurtling into the guard rails. Dez looks down at him and then hits an Emerald Frosion for the 3 count.

Winner: Shawn Hernandez
4:52

Magnus pulls himself up, but Dez, gorilla presses Williams and tosses him over the top rope down onto the head of Magnus knocking both of the British Invasion members down! Shawn roars and dismisses the boos as he poses and shows off his hulk like physique.

Backstage Wolfe looks for the Pope and finds him. A huge brawl breaks out between them and Wolfe calls him a dead man this Sunday as security is forced to pull them a part.

Match #4
Low Ki and Elix Skipper vs. Kazarian and Kid Kash vs. Austin Aries and Masato Yoshino

The three men fighting it out at Sacrifice for the X Championship are tonight in a 3-way tag match with each man picking a partner. Ki has chosen a man he used to tag with years ago in Skipper, Kazarian has chosen the tough and no nonsense Kash while Aries has the speed star Yoshino.

It’s an X Division spectacle that brings the crowd alive as each man wants momentum rolling into the title match. Kazarian has Kash do most of his work while Ki and Skipper who are very familiar with each other use kick tags and high impact attacks to gain the advantage.

Aries though dominates and shows why he was originally the number one contender to the X title as he hits Skipper with a brain buster and then Kash with a roaring elbow followed by his turbo pendulum elbow smash! Low Ki is not standing for Aries looking this good leading up to Sunday and erupts. He charges in and spears Aries and both men spill to the ground. Kazarian blind tags in and hits Fade to Black on Skipper to get the cowardly pin.

Winners: Frankie Kazarian and Kid Kash
11:43

Aries and Ki on the outside each hit the other with big time elbow smashes and kicks but when Kazarian’s music plays, they both look up to see the former champion smiling as he backs up the ramp celebrating his win. Frankie gives the sign of the belt, taunting his opponents.

Backstage Bobby Lashley is interviewed by Christy Hemme about being considered a “warm-up match” for RVD tonight. Lashley says he is no one’s warm up, he is no one’s stepping stone and tonight he’ll defeat the #1 contender for the World title which will no doubt make him next in line to face whoever walks out of Sacrifice with the title on Sunday.

Lashley then moves onto the topic of Sunday as he will be the man to finally the shut the mouth of Matt Morgan. This rivalry has gone on too long Lashley says and he is going to rip Morgan limb from limb and put him down for good. But unlike RVD he doesn’t look past the man he has in front of him and the new TNA is all about opportunities and he will defeat RVD tonight to set himself up for a Championship opportunity, nothing is going to stand in his way.

Match #5
#1 Contenders match for the TNA Knock Out’s Championship
Hamada vs. Angelina Love w/ Velvet Sky

The Champion Tara is on commentary as these two feuding KOs want the shot against Tara at the ppv. Both have gotten separate shots over the last two months and they want a second chance at the gold. Love is cunning and stays away from the kicks of Hamada and taunts her with the help of Sky on the outside. Hamada makes a mistake by charging in and the wiry Angelina takes advantage.

Love gets inside the reach of Hamada and lands heavy elbow strikes and then a bulldog. She looks for an arm submission but Hamda counters it with her own arm bar. Sky drags her to the ropes for the rope break and when the ref admonishes Sky, Love rolls up Hamada..1…2.. kickout!

Hamada retaliates with the most brutal roundhouse kick sen in a woman’s match and it’s academic!

Winner and new #1 Contender for Knockout’s Championship: Hamada
5:04

Tara leaves the broadcast position and steps into the ring face to face with Hamada. They stare at each other for what seems like an age, until Tara holds the KO title belt high in the air. Hamada cracks the smallest of grins and leaps in the air and blasts Tar’s arm with a lightning fast kick. Tara holds her wrist in pain as the belt flies in the air and Hamada catches it!

Tara looks at her opponent as she examines the KO title and then drops it at the Champion’s feet. Hamada’s music plays as Tara seems surprised and obviously concerned about her challenger’s skill and power.

The Pope vs. Desmond Wolfe

It’s main event time now, but it’s not RVD or Lashley’s music that hits, it’s the World champions! Samoa Joe makes his way down to the ring and holds up his belt to the roar of the crowd. He steps into the ring and has a microphone.

Joe tells the fans that tonight’s main event is going to be a great match. He knows how good both of these guys are and is looking forward to seeing what RVD can do against a guy who is bigger, more powerful, more technically savvy and more focused than he is. Also he is well aware of Matt Morgan attacking Lashley during his matches, so by the power invested in him as Champion, he’s naming himself the special guest enforcer!

Main Event
Rob Van Dam vs. Bobby Lashley – Samoa Joe as special ring enforcer

Both men make their entrances. Lashley is first and he shakes Joe’s hand and acknowledges what he’s doing. Then out walks RVD. Rob smiles at Joe and gives him the thumbs and then gets into the ring. The bell sounds and these two top guys go at it. Both are fan favourites and get dueling chants as they try to put the other down.

Rob uses the air and tries to put the big man on his back with thrust kicks. But Lashley is able to catch Van Dam and hit a suplex dropping in on his head! Lashley then looks for a Guillotine choke, but Rob counters it with his flexibility by hitting a kick to Lashley’s temple and then a standing sabot kick for a 2 count. Split legged moonsault is hit and Rob gets 2 again as Lashley powers out.

Lashley goes for a spear but Rob leap frogs him and he collides with the turnbuckles. Rob follows up with a monkey flip and then a rolling thunder and then a rolling splash and a spinning leg drop for another 2 count! Rob trash talks Joe as he looks to climb the top rope for the 5 Star but Bobby catches him and looks for a Dominator.

Rob slips out hits the ropes but this time is hit by a hellacious spear! The crowd pops for the huge move and Lashley looks for a Dominator, but out walks Matt Morgan to a chorus of boos. But Joe is there to meet him at the bottom of the ramp. Morgan puts his hands up as if to say he doesn’t want any trouble but then unleashes a Carbon Footprint…. But Joe ducks it and catches the leg on his shoulder. Joe drops down like a stunner and brings Morgan down with him! Morgan falls down and grabs his crotch as the fans and Lashley applaud the actions of the World Champ.

Boom! Van Daminator! 5 Star Frog Splash! 1..2..3!

Winner: Rob Van Dam
14:22

Morgan eyeballs Joe vowing revenge as Rob gets his arm raised. Samoa Joe gets in the ring and stands face to face with his challenger. Much like what Tara did earlier, Joe hoists the World title in the air telling Rob the Champ is here. Rob looks at the belt and then at Joe and arrogantly does his thumbs.

The two big fan favourites eyeball each other as Impact goes off the air.

Interview with Bryan Danielson

Although heavily rumoured to become a part of the TNA roster after he asked for his release 3 months ago, it was still a big surprise this past Thursday when he was revealed as the man who will wrestle Petey Williams at Sacrifice. TNAWrestling.com sat down with the latest acquistion of TNA Wrestling and how he'll shape up against his opponent at Sacrifice.

Thanks for joining us today. Welcome to TNA, why did you decide to sign with the company?

Thanks for having me. You see, for a long time, I've always considered TNA to have one of the greatest collections of pro-wrestlers in the world. Men that I have been in the ring with who know how to wrestle. Who are not in it for a pay day but because they want to be the best in the world.

When I saw Samoa Joe do what he did, and say to the world, I'm going to make wrestling matter again, and make a World Championship actually mean something again, and bring prestige to it, then I was blown away. TNA is the real deal now and this is where I want to be.

When you joined did you know Petey Williams was going to be your first opponent?

No, not at all. I was signed and wasn't going to debut for awhile, but when Williams started talking trash about the U.S. and then put Kurt Angle on the shelf, I put my hand up and said I want to wrstle this man and show him just what Am,erican Wrestlers are all about. Besides I'm here because I want to prove I am the best in the world, and the only way I can do that is by beating the best wrestlers in the world. And Petey Williams, pound for pound is exactly that.

So your saying you've got your hands full this Sunday?

I sure do. I'm going into the ring with a man that has possibly ended Kurt Angle's career. This guy is on a roll and I am putting a lot on the line straight away in my TNA tenure when I face him. I want to make a statement. I want to send a message, I want everyone to know I am the best in the world ok, and this Sunday at Sacrifice I'm going to have to put up or shut up.

Do you have a game plan?

I'm not giving too much away, but the most obvious thing is to keep away from the Candian Destoyer piledriver. I don't care who you are, Sting, the World Champion Joe, you get hit by that thing and it's lights out. Williams is extremely dangerous and on Sunday I'm going to show him what an American Dragon can do. This Sunday at Sacrifice.. it's Petey Wiliams' final countdown.

Thanks for joining us today Bryan

Review by Wrestlezone Reporter

TNA Wrestling’s Sacrifice ppv continued the huge roll TNA has been having since the wrestling matters direction began when Samoa Joe attacked Jeff hardy and Mr Anderson over 3 months ago. Tonight begins with a video about what a wrestler will Sacrifice to be the best. Each wrestler has their own answer to the question before ending on the World Champion Samoa Joe who simply says “everything”.

The main event tonight has been hyped for the last month as the TNA original World Champion Samoa Joe will take on the man who truly believes is the Whole Dam Show. Rob Van Dam left another company, frustrated that he wasn’t getting any real opportunities even though he was winning match after match, and doing it in style. He defeated everyone that was put in front of him, however was not afforded the same opportunities others who started their careers in that company as he was a self made wrestler. Now in TNA he came into the company guns a blazing and quickly captured the TNA World title, and now after defeating three other men inside the six sides of steel, will take on a man who’s story sounds similar to RVD’s.

Samoa Joe dominated TNA when he first arrived destroying everyone in his path and went undefeated for 18 months. But when Hulk Hogan arrived in TNA the originals of the company were not given any opportunities and therefore Joe brought it upon himself to change things. Due to his actions Hogan left the company and TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett piggy backed off Joe’s actions to make wrestling matter again.

Now as it stands these two men, the best of the best will face off to fight for the greatest prize in the industry, the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Joe has stated that in order for the Championship to mean something, than he must beat the very best wrestlers in the world. Rob Van Dam is one of those men. A rebel, a man who says he is better than the best in the ring and changed the face of pro-wrestling due to his unorthodox style. Sacrifice is his chance to once again be TNA World Champion and show the World that he is the premier pro-wrestler in the world, while it is the stake in the ground for Samoa Joe to solidify his dominance and to prove that he is the Champion of the World.

The first match of the night is two of the very best in the world today looking for their opportunity in TNA.

Match #1
The Pope D’Angelo Dinero vs. Desmond Wolfe w/ Chelsea

images
images

Both men going into the match know what win and a loss would mean for their quest for the championship. Both brought their game faces as they both looked confident. Wolfe has been in devastating form as of late and he has not just wrestled his opponents, he has tortured them before getting the win. The Pope though didn’t seem to appreciate Wolfe’s style and in his own way, his challenge was more of a “why don’t you try that on someone your own size”.

They lock up and Wolfe looks for the hammerlock. He trash talks Pope as he starts to wring the arm. Pope reverses the hold and looks for a takedown, only to have Wolfe counter and once again grab the hammerlock. Wolfe proceeds then to work on the arm with many different holds looking to break it. Pope keeps stepping into the ropes to escape the Brits’ clutches.

Pope then fires up with some high octane offence, getting the fans back into the match as he hits his high flying shoulder tackle and then the Coronation and then a big time pimp slap! Wolfe stumbles back into the centre of the ring and when Pope comes back in looking for an inverted DDE (Code Breaker), Wolfe counters by hitting a catching the knees and slamming the back of Pope’s head on the mat. Wolfe then locks in the London Dungeon arm submission.

With the crowd behind him Pope eventually gets to the ropes where he again fires back sending Wolfe stumbling backwards into the ropes, but Wolfe explodes with his Jawbreaker Lariat!

Pope barely kicks out, as Wolfe shakes off the cobwebs and looks for another Lariat to finish the job, but Pope ducks the shot, hits the ropes and comes back with his own clothesline, and then another and then an atomic drop before hitting Bionic Elbows and his Pimp Slap! Wolfe falls into the corner and Pope runs in for the DDE! But Wolfe moves at the last second and Pope’s knee hit only turnbuckle pad.

Pope unprotected steps back right into another Jawbreaker Lariat with so much force the ref could count to a hundred.

Winner: Desmond Wolfe

Chelsea steps into the ring with her long legs and helps Wolfe put his jacket on as he flips off the fans and trash talks them as he gives one final look at his beaten opponent before walking off.

Backstage Beer Money is being interviewed about tonight’s #1 Contender match where they will have to face off against each for the heavyweight title shot. Robert Roode says that Jeff Jarrett’s ploy of trying to test their friendship is laughable and tonight the plan is simple. One of us will lie down for the other, so to avoid any risk of injury. Go on and become World Champion, and then give the other member a title shot to let the best man win.

Christy Hemme then asks which one will be the guy to lay down, which both men in unison reply… ”he will”. They then walk off arguing about who will be the one to lay down as we go back to ringside.

Kazarian last month showed his true colours when he tapped out during a beating from Low Ki. However Kazarian hatched a cunning plan to maneuver his way into the title match between Aries and Ki, A triple threat match was made when Low Ki boasted he could beat both men, falling right into the hands of Kazarian who now will have Aries as his buffer as he plans on stealing back the X Championship. Aries who had fought his way to get his title match is not impressed and wanted his one on one with the Warrior to prove he is the best X Division wrestler in the world.

The match starts off unlike any other X Division title match as Frankie waits for the others to engage, Low Ki stalks both men, while Aries keeps his eye on Kazarian. Frankie though tries to form a partnership with Aries against Low Ki. Ki stands idle as Kazarian outstretches his hand. Aries with a grin shakes it. Kazarian then directs traffic and orders them both to attack Low Ki.

Kazarian though stops short to allow Aries to attack Ki by himself… but Aries does the same not trusting Kazarian and they both stop a few metres in front of the champ. Kazarian apologises to Aries and outstretches his hand again. Aries again shakes it, but then turns it into an irish whip, sending him crashing into Low Ki! In fear, he instantly dives out of the ring, but this distraction leads to Aries attacking Ki head on with an elbow strike right between the eyes, and then a snap suplex and then a punt kick to the head. 1..2… Ki kicks out and rolls into the ropes for cover. Aries points at Kazarian and tells him to stay out of it, and that he has no business being in this match. He yells at Kazarian and tells him that if he even steps foot in the ring, he’ll hurt him more than Low Ki ever could.

This distraction though leads to Low Ki coming back and the two men blast each other with high impact high octane offence. Kazarian teases on getting into the ring during these exchanges. Low Ki welcomes it, and invites him in so he can hurt him, which Kazarian puts his hands up and stands in the corner, while when Aries has the advantage tells Kazarian to not even think about it.

Ki hits a Tidal Krush in the corner and then snapmares Aries into the centre of the ring, and then unleashes a brutal kick to the back of his head. 1..2.. Aries kicks out. Kaz looks for the save but thinks twice of it when Ki watches him like a snake ready to strike. Aries though fights back into the match with the fans behind him, arm drags Ki over, he hits a Crucifix Bomb and then a Brainbustaaaahhhh!!! Aries climbs high looking to finish with the 450 Splash… but Kazarain strikes.

He pushes Austin off the top rope and he crashes and burns on the mat. Kazarian looks to through Low Ki out of the ring and pin Aries for the title, but Ki wont have that and now that he has Kazarian in his clutches he blasts him with stiff vicous kicks to the legs and body. Kazarian though goes to the eyes, and then hits a clothesline. He stomps the Champion and then connects with the reverse pile driver.1..2…3..

No! Aries with the desperation save!!! But Kazarian rocks Aries with a knee lift, and throws him shoulder first into the mid section of Ki. Kazarian then clotheslines Ki over the top rope, and looks to win back the title now that he has Aries down. He leaps up onto the second rope and drops a guillotine leg drop!!! 1…2…. Aries kicks out!

Kazarian looks for a suplex, but it’s blocked. He tries again, but same result. Kazarian hammers knees into the body of Aries and then hits a gut wrench powerbomb, but in mid air, Aries counters with a head scissors take over into a pin!!!

He hits with such force that Kazarian flies to the other side of the ring and smashes into the turnbuckles in a mangled wreck. Aries gets to his feet and the two men exchange again looking to beat the other. They hit each other so many times and with such power that they are both dazed and out on their feet. Kazarian in the background slowly gets to his feet, but Aries sees this out of the corner of his eye and leaves his fight with Ki, to deliver an explosive drop kick to Frankie’s face!

Ki Krusher to Aries!!!

The ref tries to convince the former tag champions to finally tie up, but both are conflicted. They realize what must be done and after kicking the ropes and cursing have to get into it.

Storm explodes and hits his Last Call superkick on Jarrett! Jarrett is knocked out and he falls like a tree off the apron falling to the floor! Roode laughs as the two men high five each other.

Boom!

Both men are interviewed before this highly hyped bout. Williams says he is going to destroy every American on his way to becoming the World Champion. He ended Kurt Angle’s career and tonight he ends Danielson’s before it even gets started here in TNA, and says that Danielson should have stayed in the indys because after tonight he’ll be eating through a straw for the rest of his days.

Danielson though has other plans as he says it’s the final countdown for Williams. He wants to try an American, well he gets the American Dragon. TNA is where wrestling matters and tonight he will show he is the best wrestler in the world.

Match #6
Bryan Danielson vs. Petey Williams

images
images

The Canadian Destroyer is furious that once again another American was calling himself “the best” and thought that his message to the world when he took out Kurt Angle needs to be refreshed. This match has once again brought forward the rivalry between the U.S. and Canada inside a wrestling ring. Williams is now determined to not only end this American “braggart’s” career, but to steal his mantle as Best in the world for himself and his country.

The two men lock up and try to out wrestle each other with constant reversals and counter moves. Danielson starts getting the better of Williams, so he attacks with closed fists and brutal attacks. But Dragon would not take this lying down and answered with brutal kicks and strikes of his own. Williams tries to lock back up with Danielson, in order to avoid these vicious strikes from the new comer but he runs instead to escape the damage he is taking.

The fans are all over Williams as he bides time on the floor, but Dragon comes out after him in spectacular fashion with a leaping somersault dive smashing both men into the guard rail on the floor! Dragon gets to his feet and roars and starts delivering deadly kicks and strikes to Williams.

Petey escapes back into the ring and when Dragon follows him, catches the American with a leg drop to the back of the head, and then a DDT! 1..2.. Dragon kicks out. Williams is now in control and starts working away on Danielson’s back, softening him up for the Sharpshooter. Knees and elbows are reigned down into the base of the spine as Williams looks to out wrestle the American Dragon.

Small package from out of no where from Dragon gets a 2 count, but William goes back to work. Side “Canadian” leg sweep connects and another 2 count before Williams looks to hit his deadly flip pile driver. Danielson is set for the ride, but quickly reverses it into a Guillotine choke! Williams backs Dragon into the corner and gets the rope break and when he does he gives Bryan a huge elbow strike in the face.

Danielson comes back with open hand palm strikes, kicks and big time Euro uppercuts sending Petey off his feet and onto his back. Kick after kick after kick is unleashed before it’s time for Dragon to dish out some punishment. He starts with a surfboard, drilling Petey’s knee caps when he doesn’t comply. Then starts stomping on the back of Petey’s elbows trying to break his wrists which are planted on the mat.

Danielson is putting on an absolute clinic as Williams tries to run for cover but can’t as it’s Cattle Mutilation time! Petey looks for an escape and is able to distribute his weight to the ide and get out of the hold. Danielson is so impressed he gets up and kicks him in the head for good measure! Dragon hits a back suplex and goes up top and delivers a flying head butt! 1..2… Kickout from Petey! Le Bell Lock applied! Peety struggles and looks as if he is going to tap, but gets his foot just touching the bottom rope. Danielson looks around at the six sided ring and can see that Williams is more versed in it and Dragon sees that if he is to apply a submission he has to get Petey in the centre of the ring.

Danielson picks up Williams and whips him into the ropes looking for another attack, but he ducks and comes back with a leg lariat. Both men are down and Petey looks around and crawls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. He gets back into the ring as the ref tells him no. Danielson is about to get to his fet as the crowd scream to warn him. Williams steadies himself and then…

Petey can’t believe his eyes as out of the unique elevator entrance appears the man he thought was gone forever. The fans go berserk as the American Hero slowly walks down the ramp pointing at him as Williams raises the chair in the air. But Danielson is not done and spins Petey around and slaps the chair out of his hand and then delivers a big side kick to the temple of the Canadian Destroyer. Angle slowly walks over to the apron and Danielson points to Kurt as he locks Williams in position facing Kurt and then realises what is about to happen.

Danielson reigns down his Dragon elbows into the skull of Williams as Angle watches on. He taps furiously but before the ref can stop him, Dragon has knocked out the Canadian Destroyer.

Winner: Bryan Danielson
17:39

Danielson is victorious and Kurt steps into the ring and raises his hand to the fans. Kurt and Bryan shake hands as Danielson gets his first win in TNA. He celebrates on the turnbuckles and then high fives the ringside fans before leaving Petey to Kurt. Kurt stands over Williams waiting for him to regain consciousness. Danielson’s music has stopped as the crowd buzz. Petey finally comes to and he slowly wobbles to his feet only to be met eye to eye with Kurt Angle! The crowd goes crazy, Williams shrieks and Angle hits the Olympic Slam!!! Kurt goes for the ankle but then stops. He taps his wrist as if to say he’ll take Petey out on his time as the fans cheer Angle, his music plays and he celebrates his return up the ramp!
Backstage AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels are interviewed about their upcoming tag team match. Both men are multiple time tag team champions with other partners and together. As both teams stand in the ring it is obvious that they are very even. Similar height and weights. Sabin and Styles are both powerful high flyers, while Shelley and Daniels are the cunning technicians. Each team picks their man to start as the referee raises the titles high in the air as the fans can’t wait for this one.

Daniels and Shelley look to start things off for their respective teams. They lock up and Daniels back Shelley up into the corner before breaking cleanly. Another lock up and Shelley this time backs Daniels into the closest corner. He looks to break cleanly also, but slyly tries to punch Daniels. The Fallen Angel ducks the shot and comes back with a flurry of offence of his own. Daneils hits an inverted atomic drop followed up with a headscissors and he turns his attention to Shelley's arm. Shelley quickly escapes the hold and scrambles over to his partner Sabin and tags out! Daniels smiles as Sabin leaps into the ring and then points at Styles. The fans want AJ in too, so Daniels tags out to Styles who comes in and eats a couple of right hands from Styles. Sabin hits a kick to the face, and the Guns use a blind tag to take both Daniels and Styles out to the floor. Sabin follows Styles to the outside and rolls him back in for Shelley.

Shelley goes to work on Styles's arm before tagging in Sabin who double teams The Phenomenal One, still focusing on the arm. Joe staggers and collapses in the corner, allowing Van Dam to show off his athleticism by doing a flip off his shoulders. An enraged Joe flies out at RVD, who evades it and goes for a hurracanrana...and gets powerbombed for his trouble.

The fans chant Joe’s name as he has no got the match at his pace. Van Dam rolls to the outside to regroup as Joe crosses his arms and motions for him to get back into the ring with him. RVD gets back in and has seemed to have settled on a new approach.

Rob tries a kick but Joe catches him, RVD goes for an enziguri but misses and lands face first. He grabs his nose as Joe comes up from behind grabbing his ponytail and lifts Rob to his feet. Rob screams in pain as the Champion starts headbutting the Whole Dam Show in the back of his head! Joe tosses Van Dam into the corner, charges, but gets kicked in the face. As Joe tries to collect himself on the ropes, RVD kicks him in the face. Van Dam runs off the ropes but gets clotheslined and sent flying to the outside. This time Joe does follow, and rams Rob right into the ring post! If that wasn't bad enough, RVD gets his face bounced off the steel guard rail and staggers off to the other side with Joe in pursuit. Rob surprises him however with a quick drop-toe-hold into the railing. Both men are taking huge amounts of punishment but seem to be fighting off the pain so they can try and really take the man out.

Springboard side kick courtesy of the guard rail by RVD who keeps the pressure on by following up with some punches and a standing sidekick right to the face. Rob now starts getting back into his old habits and gives himself the thumbs up as the huge sold out crowd sings along “R!V!D!” He tries to introduce Joe to the post but the Champ counters and Rob smashes his head instead on the steel! Joe grabs a fans chair and places it in the corner. He blasts Rob with a rights and lefts and sits him down. Joe calls out to the crowd and they sing along with his Ole Ole kick!

But Rob still refuses to sit, so Joe tries to smash RVD's head on the rail again but gets countered with a kick to the chest. Van Dam tries a headscissors off the guardrail but gets caught and flipped over into the audience as the fans erupt at what they are witnessing. This is truly Total Non-Stop Action!

Joe now follows over into the fans as the crowd goes crazy. He picks up the Whole Dam Show in a gorilla press as Rob tries to fight out but a powerslam back first into the steel guard rail stops his resistance. He tries to toss Rob back over but he blocks it and pulls Joe's head straight into the guard rail, stunner-style. Van Dam then tries a springboard hurrancanrana, but Joe catches him....but gets hurracanrana'd regardless. The fans chant RVD’s name as he climbs back to the outside of the ring, grabs a chair, and slams it on Joe who is still in the audience. Rob looks and sees him getting up, he looks to the fans who in thundering unison calls for “one more time!” Joe finally makes it to his feet only to get a flying somersault splash from RVD!!!! It is deafening as RVD chants transform into TNA chants!! Joe collects himself by resting over the guard rail, but once again RVD flies off with a guillotine legdrop to his back and taking him over the railing. Huge "Rob Van Dam" chant breaks out and the arena is shaking with the amount of noise the fans are creating.

High kick by Van Dam sends Joe sprawling back to the guardrail but he comes out of nowhere with a clothesline and takes Van Dam down! The momentum changes with one huge power move as Rob is now flat on his back on the floor. He holds the back of his head as Joe drops to a knee trying to recover from the onslaught he just endured from Mr. Pay per View.. turning it on in the main event. Joe drags him over to the broadcast table by his hair. Tenay and West beg the Champ not to do it, but RVD is smashed into the table with a huge powerbomb! The table doesn’t break as Tenay and West sprawl for cover.

Joe then climbs up onto the staging area behind the commentary position and as Rob stirs the World Champion leaps off and with an elbow crashes down ontop of RVD wiping out the table, the table explodes and Rob looks like he has been in a car wreck! Both men are down and half of Joe is under the ring. Joe gets to his feet and drags the limp body of RVD into the ring. RVD though delivers some boots to the eye, but Joe charges back with an elbow to the chin. Joe rolls back inside as RVD gets on the apron but gets caught and pounded. Joe lifts RVD up for a suplex, yet tosses him back to the outside, catching Van Dam's face on the apron and himself on the ropes.
Joe appears to be the worse for wear as RVD climbs the turnbuckles. Flying hurracanrana by RVD... countered with a brutal powerbomb again!!! 1…2… Rob kicks out!

Samoa Joe starts applying his sequence of submissions. Each time Rob tries to escape Joe transitions to the next. But the hardcore warrior refuse to tap and eventually grabs the bottom rope. Joe picks him up and whips him into the ropes and delivers a powerslam!! 1..2… Kickout!!
Joe picks him up again, but Van Dam elbows out and hits the ropes and comes back with a drop kick to the big man’s knee! Joe drops to the mat and Rob leaps to the top rope. Five Star Frog Splash!!!!!! Rob got some serious air on this one but holds his chest in pain kicking his legs but quickly slides over to finish this.

Rob kicks out and Joe shows some frustration. He grabs RVD and choke-tosses him into the turnbuckle. Joe unleashes heavy right and lefts to the body and then kicks and stomps bludgeoning Rob into the mat! Joe hits his torturous face washes and then pulls RVD to his feet looking to finish with a Muscle Buster.

Rob swings out of it and lands on his feet. He quickly jumps onto the rope and slingshots himself with a thrust kick. Joe hits the mat and Rob delivers a Rolling Thunder. Joe gets to a knee and as Rob comes at him he explodes off his feet and hits a huge decapitation clothesline! RVD is turned inside out and Joe scrambles delivering heavy tree trunk sized knee strikes to the top of RVD’s head. The crowd wince as Joe drives them again and again into the top of Rob’s head and face.

Coquina Clutch, rear naked choke. The ref asks Rob, but he desperately tries to escape. Joe roars as he locks it in… Rob quickly flips his body distributing his weight across Joe’s shoulders… Joe is pinned ..

The fans go crazy as Joe collapses to the mat. The ref drapes the title across his chest as he lies down next to his opponent. Joe’s music plays as he at first doesn’t move, but then he is helped to his feet by the new tag champions, Styles and Daniels. The Unbreakable 3 stand tall with their gold as RVD gets to his feet and shakes Joe’s hand. Styles and Daniels raise RVD’s hand as Sacrifice goes off the air.
