Mr perfect ties it here by dq as Austin, realizing he has a lead, beats on hennig in the corner and shoves the referee, causing a dq. This match is much more competitive than it sounds, as hennig is consistently hitting great wrestling move after move, with austin countering with brawling tactics.

after loosing the first fall CURT HENNIG tries to slow austins pace down while austin brawls out..but curt gets control and dominates. austin goes to the ropes for a closeline......curt hennig anticipates and avoids the move..........leading to austins own momentun getting him to hit the refree instead....AUSTIN GETS DQ

Austin loses. Henning loses the first fall. But is then aware of what Austin is going to do next. He then manages to get the second pinfall with a rollup. Austin is frustrated by Mr. P's array of moves and counters, he get's frustrated and get's himself DQ'd when he puts the boots to him and doesn't stop.

Austin gets his suprising win in match 1 which only frustrates and focuses Hennig. Hennig will isolate one of Austin's many vulnerable limbs and go to work on it. Hennig will then be able to land a Perfectplex on Austin and even things up at then of round 2.

I think the rules state not to repeat but add to the discussion but you pretty much took my discussion. I guess it's true great minds think alike. Austin picks up an early victory, Henning out wrestles Austin in 2nd round and lands the Pefectplex. f
