TNA Legends Championship: Kevin Nash Vs. Mick Foley

So last week Foley won the title off Nash by pinning him in a stipulation tag match. Due to apparently Lashly interfering when he was not the legal man, we now have to suffer through this rematch at Hard Justice. You know, It's fine when you have one of these two in a match where someone can carry, but neither of these two men can carry a match in my eyes. Not looking forward to this one at all. Should be dreadful to watch with both these wrestlers clearly being past their primes. All I can hope is that it's a quick match. As I pointed out in some previous post, I feel Hard Justice is where the Mafia will come to claim most of the belts. I see Nash picking up the belt here due to some Mafia intervention.

*Yawn* These two bore the hell out of me. I'm not a bit interested in Nash anymore. The man can barely walk let alone wrestle. And Mick Foley walks like he's the hunch back or something. So basically you have these two over the hill farts, fighting for a title?

Unless there's lots of sick bumps(which there won't)I'll probably just skip this match all together. I just honestly don't think these two can competently work a match together, in this day and age. The fans will care(just because TNA fans will cheer for anything)but honestly is anyone looking forward to this shit fest?

I guess Foley retains, if not it was pretty pointless to give it to him, right after Nash just won. But TNA is know to do stupid stuff but who know's. I'll call a DQ win for Foley, then he should do what he does best, put a young star over and lose and hopefully it's Eric Young.

This would be the match that entices me to purchase this pay per view. Nash's match with Amazing Red personified exactly what I look for in a pro wrestling contest. A bunch of basic hard hitting moves with at least one of those two participants having enough character allowing you to get behind them however they perform. There has been nothing I have seen from either Nash or Foley within the past couple months that would lead me to believe this isn't going to be what exactly I'd expect, and enjoy.

The massive brawl that ensued on Impact today had some great moments, specifically from these two. The point where Nash was covered with trash and Foley being the one to blame was hilarious. Then later, Foley was on the receiving end of a mobile clothing rack shot to the face by Nash. These little incidents are just some of the unique things that can happen when you have two creative minds like those of the two competing wrestlers. I really can't wait to see this match, by far my personal favorite on the card, if I do end up purchasing this pay per view.

This could've been a pretty big match at some point, or still could've been if TNA weren't a nothing company.

I don't know what the outcome will be. A title change on a PPV? I don't know what odds I'd get on that. I say Foley wins and Nash wins the title back at one of the bulk iMPACT tapings.

Kevin Nash is my favorite guy on TNA, besides Abyss, of course. So, I was very upset to find out that he lost the Legend's Championship just a mere three days after winning it. KEVIN NASH DESERVES BETTER!! I'm sure that TNA won't give Kevin Nash the World Championship, so why not let him hold on to the Legend's Title for a while? All because of Bobby Lashley. I loved the guy in WWE, but if he's gonna screw my man Kevin Nash out of his championship, then I might have to reconsider. Mick Foley: Legend's Champion just doesn't go right for me. I am not in any way a TNA follower, but this is one TNA result that really pisses me off!

Prediction: Mick Foley retains the Legend's Championship.

How? Nash is notorious for being a guy that doesn't give two shits about wrestling or anyone else in the business, all he wants is a paycheck. Nash is one of the biggest douchebags in wrestling history, I fail to see how he deserves better. He's already received far more in his career than he ever deserved in the first place, him and Scott Hall. They define everything that is wrong with the wrestling business.

As for this match, yawn-city. I'm a huge Foley mark and always will be, but it's become painful to watch him in the ring. Nash hasn't been worth a damn in the ring for years either. Maybe if this were a gimmick match this would be more exciting, but a regular one-on-one match? Boring. I'm sure Foley will retain here.

With all the bad things I hear about Kevin Nash, I still can't help but like the guy. At 50 years old, he's still in the wrestling business. I don't know if it's true about him just here to collect a paycheck, but for him still to be here at 50 years old... I gotta respect him. It may not be the best decision for me to like him, but that's just my opinion.

I am not looking forward to this match at all. They are both past their primes and are in horrible shape. I just don’t see them being able to put on something good and entertaining, because they just can’t do it anymore unless they are carried. I liked/like Nash and Foley but they just don’t have any business being a ring anymore. I admire and respect them for still going out there and having matches but they just don’t have any more gas in the tank. I’d rather see them in some other role that has them doing anything but wrestling. They just can’t go anymore and it would be better in my opinion if they didn’t try to.

I am just not looking forward to this match because I know they won’t be able to have a good match that has no gimmick added to it. Like I said, I admire and respect them for still going out there but they just shouldn’t try anymore. They are out of gas and should really just park their careers because it’s better for them. At the end of the day I will still like both guys for their earlier work but I don’t want to see them wrestle anymore. I don’t expect this match to be good because they just aren’t in good shape and are past their prime. I don’t know what else to say other than I’m not expecting much out of this match.

I have no interest in seeing this match whatsoever. I like and respect Mick Foley, but his time is past. Many times whenever he gets on the stick to cut a promo, he all but comes right out and says how beaten up, banged up and over the hill he is. I don't doubt the guy's testicular fortitude, but it's time to hang it up. His matches just aren't enjoyable anymore.

Kevin Nash...Kevin Nash..Kevin Nash...*sigh*...what can I say about the guy? If anything, Kevin Nash is as banged up as Mick Foley is. Nash was never all that spectacular of an in-ring worker before, but now the guy is like a walking abortion. While never graceful or agile, he's at the point where he can barely move. His knees are so shot that there are times he can't climb over the top rope to get into the ring anymore or winces in pain while walking up the steps to get into the ring.

Two over the hill guys in what will almost certainly be a sub-standard match: It's basically the incarnation of one of my biggest complaints regarding TNA.

This should be a promo contest, not a match. Just like Abyss's match, this should be hardcore or have some gimmick so that it's at least somewhat interesting. Foley can hardly move around the ring anymore and I don't know when the last time that Nash left his feet was. The only reason that this match is happening is because Nash and Foley are two big names. Hopefully it will be kept short, 5 minutes sound good. As for the winner, I guess Nash. Just like in every other match, interference is likely. There was no point in Nash losing the title a few weeks ago though. There are a million other ways they could have set up this feud without giving Foley the belt, but I guess it's all part of Russo's master plan.

I think this match kept my interest with all the blood shed. In general the Legends title is losing value by making all the older wrestlers fight over it. Nash winning to me is not good for TNA because he is not even good anymore in the ring.
