Tna Knockout's to WWE

There has been talk on another thread of Lay-Cool being pretty much a carbon copy of TNA's The Beautiful People (Now they pretty much are going that direction) and that WWE should have a set of Diva/Women's tag titles. . What i want to suggest is that an idea i have to make the Diva's division a little more exciting and possibly allowing a set of tag belts (because at the moment i feel there is no where near enough diva's). I feel WWE could create a little heat/excitment in the Diva's div. by signing a few released TNA Knockout's (ie Awsome Kong, Roxxi and possibly Tara/Victoria, who is rumoured to be signing back with WWE) then have them come in as some sort of faction to go against Lay-Cool (and possibly add Maryse) or even have them against the majority of the curreny Diva's as some sort of Invasion - similar the the NXT invasion.

Ok i know this may be a little much as we do have the NXT/NXTWO Invasion storyline at the mo, but let's face it the Diva's/Women's division really does need something done to it, especially with the release of Mickie James and the long term injury to Beth Phoenix.

I agree with you where the WWE needs to do something with there women's division but few things about your idea

A) WWE should/will never have a faction with former TNA wrestlers or at least a faction with any talent. It would make TNA look like they are on the same level with WWE. When/If these women do come to WWE I bet you they come in separate. Especially because Victoria will come in as a recognizable name and Awesome Kong will SHOCK the WWE viewers who have never seen her. Roxxi will most likely get the bad end of the deal and job to some of the current divas.

B) I LOVE the NXT angle and you even admitted this sounds a little like the NXT angle. Just remember nWo angle started out GREAT in WCW then it became way to huge. If they wanted to maybe add Awesome Kong and Roxxi to the NXT group, i would be down for that but WWE has to watch how they handle this angle cause it could take a big turn for the worst really fast.

Do you not remember Trish Stratus' character before she turned face? How about Melina in 2005? How about the 90% of the heels in womens wrestling.

Jim Cornette has already confirmed that WWE doesn't even watch other wrestling product..

He has done since day 1 and thats how he found many of his hidden gems. The wrestlers themselves watch the product and come up with ideas and so on.
However I agree with the diva comment, since the days of Sable it really has been the same story over and over. Although if TNA insist on doing a Beautiful People group at least get some who don't look like men in makeup.

You do know that Jim Cornette was head of Talent Relations for the WWE for a number of years in the 90's right?

He said the WWE higher ups didn't even watch their own product (OVW) when he was running it. He also went on to say Vince barely watched ECW/WCW better yet TNA

I agree with you that J.R watches other product.. but I mainly meant Vince, Steph, Laurinaitis

Why would you have divas tag team titles when they barely have a womens divison as it is. Great example of why not to have divas tag titles is the TNA ones. They pretty much serve no purpose and their are what one maybe two teams that are contenders, lame.
It's WWE, if you think they are actually going to have a strong womens divison you will be waiting for awhile. One time it happened that's it, the time with Trish, Lita, Jazz, Victoria, and when Mickie James started, once Trish left it was over and will be for along time in the WWE.

I doubt that will happen. The divas don't draw enough. Most live reports i read say this when people go to the bathroom. Why would push it more then?

If the KOs come over they will be buried right alongside Gale Kim so i doubt a diva tag belt would cause much excitement in the division. Also i really hope Victoria doesn't come back her last years in the WWE where awful.

1. Only people saying WWE stole from TNA are the stupid TNA marks (the smart TNA marks are met with no offense here). As if WWE never had a heel stable of Divas in their entirety before On the top of my head I know back in the Attitude Era they had PMS and then Melina teamed with Beth Phoenix in a fashionable, preppy team only a year or so before The Beautiful People.

But of course if blow came to blow WWE can just point at Abyss and say "Mankind much?" Now that would be grounds of theft before Lay-Cool will be.


2. There aren't enough divas for their own tag-team championship, there isn't enough time to push that title on cable compared to the other titles, and quite frankly it has very slim drawing power. I'm sure some people here would love to see LayCool vs. Bella Twins for Women's Tag Belts, but that will be a minority compared to Melina vs. Beth Phoenix for the Women's Championship now wouldn't it? Oh and of course WWE has a plethera of other titles and people to push that will draw more than a divas tag division.

That would almost sound plausible, given that Raw and Smackdown were three-hour shows or the women had their own show to feud on. But again there exists a large problem here. And when I mean large, I mean in the gut:

Awesome Kong doesn't measure up to WWE standards in any way. Bigtime draw, credible wrestler, but not WWE material. They like their women super-skinny, preferably fitness models and such. Kong doesn't fit the bill.

And any other TNA Knockout would be lucky to make it to WWE honestly. Victoria/Tara just might, because she was there before, but she is also getting up in age and last time she was in WWE it was on Smackdown, doing nothing but waiting to be released.

I expect the Knockouts to job to the models, and I wouldn't like to see that.

Ok here is my problem with the divas division.... First off adding tag belts doesn't make any sense because the WWE only has a few divas who can actually wrestle.... And I also agree that since the diva division was started back up the heels almost always go off of the same plan... Just a bunch of snobby high maintenance bimbos .....
