According to pwinsider.com, that's right, just to clarify, pwinsider.com, not the "other" website that claimed to have reported the story first, Glen Gilbertti was denied entry into Canada for last night's TNA PPV due to his previous arrest record. Sorry we weren't able to break the story sooner, I guess I didn't quite get to copying and pasting it as quickly as other sites did. Thanks again to pwinsider.com however, for the actual origin of the story.

Dude, they did everything that they could. Nobody could have predicted that they Hurricane, which touched land over 40 miles away from Houston, would have been that powerful and did THAT much damage. I saw early morning footage where a news crew was using their own vehicles to block the freeway as there was a part that was under 4 feet of water unexpectedly.

Yes, Booker didn't HAVE to stay in Houston during the storm, but I can relate to his reasons. His home and family are there. Everything he has is there. I don't blame him for wanting to make sure that everything was okay prior to traveling to Canada. Shit, MY family is there and I wish I was there with them to make sure things were safe. It's not his fault or TNA's fault. TNA did everything they could, even trying to charter a private jet. Thing is that the storm was so massive that all flights, public and private were cancelled for the weekend.

This is aftermatch footage of Galveston, the city I was born in and where the storm hit before moving to Houston. I could only watch 13 seconds of it as it was really rough to watch, even though I know my sister who lives there, got out safely before the storm hit.

The storm was supposed to come to Corpus Christi, where I am, up until Thursday. On Friday, they changed the track to Houston, and closed the airports late Friday.

I was raised in Houston, and I am telling you right now, that city floods, and a storm that big can displace millions for a long period of time. Most of Galveston is still under water.

Booker had no chance to make it, unless he boarded the Astros charter to Milwaukee for the most ill conceived contingency plan ever.
