The WZT Verbal RKO thread

That could have been said for the last two/three of his matches, though.

Some people are going to be cretins and vote Lesnar because Lesnar beat Rock at Summerslam 02, aka outside Rock's true prime in 2000.

Let's be honest here, you've got two Brock Lesnars.

One was a flash in the pan who beat up people past their prime and traded the belt with Kurt Angle.

The other doesn't wrestle nearly as often, and would have difficulty in a KOTR style tournament.

For reference:

This is a list of things that have more charisma than Brock Lesnar:-

The Rock
Mick Foley
Triple H
X-Pac
Al Snow
Crash Holly
Steve Blackman
Head
A steel chair
A wooden chair
A table tennis bat
The rubber off a table tennis bat
Gravel
A Gavel
A Shovel
Mud
Ashes
Dust
A grave
Tomato Soup
A bay leaf
And so on.

Here are a list of things that have less charisma than Brock Lesnar:-

Matt Morgan

That's it.

The prime argument is really just a way of saying how the person would have been booked & all primes have significant factors that play into why the person was booked that way. It could be a major injury to another top guy, changing with the times, etc. Thats why I dont really like the prime vs prime arguments & try to stay away from them. There are many variables from wrestler to wrestler from era to era. Although, some guys end up doing so much with their time at the top, it sure is hard to completely ignore. Unless the two wrestlers fight during a time when their primes intersect, its purely speculative regarding outcome.

At some point though, in the tournament, all the logic goes out the window & people will just vote who they like more. You cant disprove the fact a guy just likes another wrestler better.

I'd rather see Flair win it then Brock Lesnar. At least Flair has some justification. Lesnar is just a massive cop out that destroys the point of even doing the tournament.

^ Pretty much this. Although SCSA vs Rock will be a much better match to debate than Austin vs Lesnar. I can see the main arguments now...

Brock Smash

Austin takes his ball home

The Streak

I really dont want to hear any of those weak ass arguments. They are shit & will be repeated ad nauseam by Camp Lesnar. So lets just do the final some justice & stop the shenanigans.

Don't forget the "Lesnar was planned to be booked to beat Austin so he'd auto win." Based on that logic Mark Henry and Orton should have at least made the Top 16 since they were contenders "to be planned to beat the streak" at one point.

Ludicrously is what that is. All the way from Phuket [real place.]

Thats cool. If it comes down to Austin vs Brock & people want to get silly about it- Lesnar is still screwed. I mean, what is stopping Austin from pinning Lesnar against the ring with his beer truck & getting a count out victory? Or slipping a few sleeping pills in his water before the match? Nothing, thats what.

See kids? I can play silly games too & mine are much more creative. I created this monster & I will put it down as well. Hell, if they keep it up- next year Ill campaign to make sure we get Brock out in the first round.

I'm pretty sure that I'm solely responsible for the likes of Karl Gotch, Gorgeous George, Edouard Carpentier, and Dick the Bruiser being in this thing so If I push for someone like... say... Chuck Norris... or Muhammad Ali... or Robocop.... they'd likely get in too.

Brock Lesnar vs Chuck Norris. Try arguing that.

Wait....

Brock Lesnar started in OVW like what, in 2001\02? Around the same time that Walker Texas Ranger went off the air? So could that mean? Nah. It couldnt be Chuck Norris in disguise. Or is it?
