That may well be true. But he didn't take down every headliner the WWE had. I recall him being plenty complimentary of Undertaker and the core SmackDown people. The fact that what he had to say wasn't all bad at least gives me a moment to pause and think it over.

That's why I said I didn't mind what he said about Orton and Triple H, doesn't bug me at all. It seems like, my opinion, he's jealous of Cena because Cena is everything he thinks he should be.
I liked what he had to say about Smackdown, and in my opinion, he should have never left that show. He had great chemistry with the guys there.
It's like having to vote for one of my kids over the other.
I love Andre and think he gets a shit raw deal because the WWE doesn't want people to think of the Giant before he was a broken shell of a man. People just think he's a big fat slob, which simply wasn't true.
Brock on the other hand was a genuine freak, and I mark out hard for the guy. The guy gets a bum wrap because he didn't want to end up a vegetable, cripple or dead. I enjoy both equally.

They are both certainly talented. Voting against Brock just because he left is silly. However, that doesn't preclude you from voting for Andre because he had a much more impressive career.

No doubt on both statements. I do think Andre benefitted from his time he wrestled though. He simply was one of a kind until guys like the Undertaker and the Big Show came around in the 90's. I think the territory system worked to Andre's favor, because he never over stayed his welcome, and it kept him fresh.
Probably the same with above. I really enjoy both guys. I didn't enjoy the Rock so much when he was actively performing, but my God the legacy he has left is fucking incredible. Pretty much every wrestler not associated with the Kliq thinks the guy is the best of all time.
Then you have Savage, a guy that legit held his own in an era where Hogan was dominate. You put Savage in any other era, and he's the top guy easy.

Edge has made it past Austin before. I'm thinking Brock should crush Shawn and Angle/Sting is win win. Rock would have an extremely tough time making it past Hart. I think my safe bet right now is Lesnar.
