Today, I was on another board I used to frequent regularly. The board has many technical problems which the admins can't fix without the help of someone higher up the ladder. It's a sad state of affairs. The domain owners enjoy the profit the forum brings, but neglect to put any effort into the site or hand off authority over the technical stuff to a dedicated admin who can keep things going. That said, people keep coming back because they love the community. Many say they wouldn't migrate to another board and if that one went down, that'd be it for them in the IWC. Others want to create a sister site but similar initiatives have died off in the past.

What would the end of WZ mean to you? Would you migrate with this community to a new board? Would go to another of the already existing major wrestling forums? Would it be the end of your time in the IWC? How attached are you to the community here? Why?

Meh, this isn't the first board I've joined, it isn't the only board I've joined. It is the best though, but I won't particularly care it if WZ dies.

I'd find another forum. I like the community here but I have a lot of you on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Other wrestling forums are pretty terrible, so I'd get into something else and hang around there. It's not really the wrestling that keeps me here but the fact that it's so active. I like killing time.

I would find out were my crew(s) of favorite guys are going, and head there with them. I would probably ask Sly which board is the best outside of this one, since we are friends on FB.

That's where I'm at, Remix. I certainly feel strongly enough to keep coming back, but I'm not afraid of starting over and building a rep again. Life happens and that's part of it. Gotta roll with the punches. There's no reward for letting emotional attachment take you down with the ship.

This the only wrestling site I've found that's isn't chock full of *****. I have another forum that I go on regularly and quite like, though.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've pretty much said everything I need to say about wrestling, I come here because it has novel things like tournaments and because I have grown to like you. There's no way I'd bother to put the effort in to stop resenting people now.

I always thought it was so silly how they would ban posters, and then not care if they came back right away under a similar name. For example, how many times did BenoitMark come back under a similar user name with the same sig banner?

It's been almost two years since I last got thrown off the board for running down a sixteen year old girl about her weight. The girl's still angry, but just about everyone else has moved on with their life.

In all honesty I'm not sure. I've never found another wrestling forum that is as good as Wz. So it would be hard, Wz is in part one of the best forums because of the great work the admins do. But also because of the mods, and the community that posts here. We all try to make it the best we can, and I've never seen that from another forum.

Yeah, their shitty board which doesn't even display in Firefox is why I quit going there regularly. It's absurd to think you have such a high traffic potential, and you let it all fall apart.

Whatever happened to that JUNE poster? I always remember him, Stan Hansen, the guy who plagiarized the Wrestling Observer, and the former mod who told everyone he committed suicide by pretending to be his wife. Other than that, I don't really remember anyone else on there.

Oh, and Starr. She used to be pretty cool, at least to me.

Her name was Beffy. One typo away from Beefy. She was pretty much asking for it. I think she joined sometime around 2007 but I don't remember seeing her until early '09. I put her over really well. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I don't know what happened to any of those people. Macho, Brezzy, and Djm were my kind of people and the only ones I really keep tabs on. Djm and xfear would have sexy, smarktastic babies. I'd definitely look to poach those three if PW went down for good. Actually, Djm might already be here.

Never really got the appeal of Brezzy, but I liked Macho. Djm was sometimes okay, and sometimes annoying.

There was a guy on there that kind of reminds me of Doc...name was Joey maybe???

I'd probably try to start a forum of my own. I'd search the Forums on Facebook or Twitter, find the posters that are good, tell them of the site, and get it up and running. I probably would let someone like Sly of KB run it though, I'm not good enough too.
