They can't meet at 46. They're in the same conference.
And the Broncos have a better chance at being in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes then being in the playoff hunt.
You're all probably right, Broncos aren't going anyway. You never know what can happen, if they win Division they can still do something. Although being the the AFC west, they have to battle San Diego, and maybe even the Raiders.
Who do you think will win that Division? I'm going with the Chargers, just because they seem like the dominant team, but I think anyone they could do something. I might be giving Oakland too much credit though, Jason Cambell isn't going to do shit, and you can't go anywhere without a good QB. They lost their anything close to a good player guy in Zach Miller.
Cheifs aren't doing bad, but Matty down there isn't going to any Superbowls that's for sure. Their defense doesn't stand out. They have Bowe, and they have Charles, but that's all I can think of right now. I think these guys are probably going to place last in the AFC West this year.
As for Denver, they aren't getting anywhere past Wild Card with Orton, and like most of you agree, they won't even make wild card. Plus, I've been hearing Brandon Marshall is having a bit of personal problems, depression or something. Wasn't he stabbed this off season? I don't think either of those will hold him back though.
I'm going to say it will be San Diego by a long shot that's going anywhere. They have a franchise QB, a franchise HB, and a good wide receiver set. They resigned Malcom Floyd, they have Vincent Jackson, and Jerricho Cotchery is some-what interested in San Diego from what I see in the Free Agency Tracker. Plus, they have a good defense.
Although I cannot say much about the AFC West at all, I don't have Sunday ticket so I can barely watch any of there games. I'm just basing this on the star player they have, which is probably enough.
