The Sports Bar

That blog was written by Bill Williamson. He has been working for ESPN since 2008 but before that you want to know what he did? He worked for the Denver Post for 4 years covering the Broncos. I'm sure if anyone has some good inside sources with the team it's him. Unless you have a great skill evaluating NFL talent and have been at Broncos training camp the last week and a half then your opinion isn't exactly high on the list of ones I'm going to listen to.

I read the actual Denver Post everyday, that article this fellow wrote was quite simply wrong. Quinn is nowhere near taking Tebows spot, Quinn has been playing fucking terribly this whole training camp.

He played decent last year, he showed he has a pulse, which is more than I can say for Orton.

He played garbage games in a watered down version of McDaniels offense where he wasn't forced to make a lot of plays.

How and I making it seem like he's a savior? I said he's the future starter, I never said he'll be good.

Then why are you making such a fuss about me saying he has done poorly in camp?

They looked for a guy who had Tebow in his plans, quotes from Elway (and an article on ESPN!) affirm this.

That could mean a number of things. Having a guy in your plans could simply mean you will give him an opportunity to prove he can contribute. If John Fox watches him in training camp/preseason games/practices and doesn't think he is good enough to play then he won't play.

I believe people who were actually at the camp more than ESPN and you.

Do you think ESPN just makes these stories up? They have sources and they have people covering training camps. These aren't being pulled out of left field. You are coming off as very ignorant.

There's a couple articles from the Denver Post about Tebow struggling. I'm not sure what your sources are but I've provided mine.

If Tebow can prove me wrong then so be it but until then I'm going to go by reports from multiple sources.

He played well in a few NFL games as a rookie, no matter which way you try and spin it that's what he did.

Because he's doing fine in camp. And what fuss did I make? I said "he's doing fine" and that's about it.

I'm not really sure where you're going with all this. While I'm sure Tebow is just dying to prove you wrong, the facts remains the same, Tebow is NOT losing his spot to Quinn, and will start at some point.

Because he's doing fine in camp.

Reports from the national media and local Denver media say otherwise.

I'm not really sure where you're going with all this. While I'm sure Tebow is just dying to prove you wrong, the facts remains the same, Tebow is NOT losing his spot to Quinn, and will start at some point.

All I did was state what was being reported. That's it. Not too hard of a concept to grasp.

I'm really pulling for the Steelers to sign Jerricho Cotchery, I mean we don't need him, but he'd be a great addition to the team. It'd be nice to get somebody with a name from the FA this year.

Plus, his name always reminds me of Y2J.

Edit: Plus with Sanders' injury, it'd be nice to have someone to fill that hole...just in case he misses any playing time. I don't think he will, but I suppose anything is possible. I think Sanders would start over Jerricho anyways, but all 4 guys would get a good amount of playing time.

Oh, and once again, the articles, or "sources" you posted were jokes, one said he's not as good as ORton (something I've said myself) and the other pretty much said the same thing and added some sappy bullshit.

I agree, I'm not that of a fan of Tebow, He's a good QB and has a lot of potential, but starting him this year will get the Broncos no where, they'd be lucky if they made wild card. Regardless, he is still a better QB than Brady Quin at this point.

Luckily though, they still have Orton starting. I still don't think they're going to get anywhere with Orton either, but it will at least give them a chance. They had a solid running back, a good receiver. I'd love to see them make it all the way and lose to the Steelers this year at 46. ;)

I doubt they make wild card, regardless of who's starting. A Kyle Orton led team just isn't going to do anyhting, and they don't really know what they have in Tebow yet. He could either be a bust or a great QB, but right now he just needs to improve.

And hopefully their fucking defense improves this year. I heard Dumervil and Miller are beasting in Training Camp, I can't wait to see that in a real mufuckin game.

They can't meet at 46. They're in the same conference.

And the Broncos have a better chance at being in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes then being in the playoff hunt.

Tebow > Quinn

Not too hard a concept to grasp, even for you.

I know it's not. That's why I never said Quinn was better then Tebow. All I did was state what was being reported and say that Tebow needs to worry about playing better because he is closer to being third string then he is to first string.

Maybe you should actually read what people say.

I read it, it was trying to insinuate that Tebow could possibly be placed below Brady Quinn. They based this on Tebows "struggles" in training camp. They said all of this while Quinn was playing just about as bad as anyone there, like, he was fucking awful the whole time....

That's all I'm saying man, is it really that hard to accept ESPN just isn't right this time?

You a Bronco's follower?

Yep, you don't remember me rocking the Broncos sig all last season?

They can't meet at 46. They're in the same conference.

Yea I was wondering what the fuck he was talking about.... And I wouldn't mind getting Luck at all, especially if Tim "I know jesus" Tebow turns out to be nothing more than a hype machine.

Again, according to who? You haven't shown me one article or any type of evidence saying Brady Quinn has been awful at training camp.

That's not even my fucking point, jesus you're thickheaded and nitpicky, you remind me of my stepmother. Anyways, the point is Tebow isn't losing his fucking spot, and you're one silly motherfucker if you think he's going to.

You're all probably right, Broncos aren't going anyway. You never know what can happen, if they win Division they can still do something. Although being the the AFC west, they have to battle San Diego, and maybe even the Raiders.

Who do you think will win that Division? I'm going with the Chargers, just because they seem like the dominant team, but I think anyone they could do something. I might be giving Oakland too much credit though, Jason Cambell isn't going to do shit, and you can't go anywhere without a good QB. They lost their anything close to a good player guy in Zach Miller.

Cheifs aren't doing bad, but Matty down there isn't going to any Superbowls that's for sure. Their defense doesn't stand out. They have Bowe, and they have Charles, but that's all I can think of right now. I think these guys are probably going to place last in the AFC West this year.

As for Denver, they aren't getting anywhere past Wild Card with Orton, and like most of you agree, they won't even make wild card. Plus, I've been hearing Brandon Marshall is having a bit of personal problems, depression or something. Wasn't he stabbed this off season? I don't think either of those will hold him back though.

I'm going to say it will be San Diego by a long shot that's going anywhere. They have a franchise QB, a franchise HB, and a good wide receiver set. They resigned Malcom Floyd, they have Vincent Jackson, and Jerricho Cotchery is some-what interested in San Diego from what I see in the Free Agency Tracker. Plus, they have a good defense.

Although I cannot say much about the AFC West at all, I don't have Sunday ticket so I can barely watch any of there games. I'm just basing this on the star player they have, which is probably enough.

All I've said this whole time is that if Tebow plays like shit in the preseason and Quinn plays well then there could be a switch in the depth chart. I never once said it was going to happen and I never once said it was even likely to happen but it is always at least a remote possibility.

Yep, you don't remember me rocking the Broncos sig all last season?

Yeah after I made that comment I remembered something about you having it. They're going to be the third franchise I do once Madden 12 comes out, After the Steelers and the Dolphins.

Yea I was wondering what the fuck he was talking about.... And I wouldn't mind getting Luck at all, especially if Tim "I know jesus" Tebow turns out to be nothing more than a hype machine.

They'd be best off like that. It's clear Fox isn't gonna just hand the reigns to Tebow, Luck is the most hyped QB prospect since Manning, and the Broncos aren't gonna win a lot with Orton.

Plus, then they could trade Tim Tebow and probably get someone to bite on him (Washington? Miami? Seattle?) for a 3rd or 4th rounder.

And Sully, get a preview book or somethin' man. That analysis of the West was just... i don't even know. At least get the players on the right teams.

Jesus christ...how the hell did I miss that? I'm really out of the loop. I must've known...I think I just wasn't thinking at the time. Marshall seems to be the only one I messed up on though. I thought everything else was fine, but like I said..I don't know much about the teams out there. I try my best to get the learn the players, I really started getting into NFL around 2008-2009.

And Lawl, looks like Ocho's looking for a roommate. You should get him Megatron, you do live in Boston right? Typical Ocho though...looks like someone is a little disappointed that they feel short at #2 on the Top 10 Divas list.
