I need some Vikings fans to tell me how to feel about this Ray Edwards signing.
Overrated. Needed the Williams Wall and Jared Allen to take away pressure enough so he could get 7.5 sacks a season. Doesn't show up all the time, when he does show up he can be a beast provided he gets one on one blocking. Now that he's got his payday he could slack off worse.
I'm not a Vikings fan but he is a very good pass rushing D end. He and John Abraham are a scary tandem. ATL may have overpaid a little but it was a solid signing.

I haven't been hearing anything about Tiki Barber lately, so I decided to google him, turns out there's a very good chance he'd go to my own Pittsburgh. That'd be awesome. I can see him as a second string guy, doing 3rd downs as well.

What say you boys about the top 25?
I chuckled seeing Arkansas above Ohio State after O State beat them in the S-Bowl and they lost their starting QB. Suppose it makes sense, Arkansas seems to be everyones dark horse favorite. Lot of pressure to put on a new starter at Qb
Notre Dame in it? They should be somewhere between 17 and 23. If they are somewhere between there, I'm happy. They'll end the season ranked 9th, and win a BCS Bowl. What say you boys about the top 25?
Well Ohio State lost 5 players for a while, had their head coach forced out (relatively late in the offseason), and most of all don't have a QB after Pryor left (again, late in the offseason). Can't say I blame them if they don't like Ohio State all that much.I chuckled seeing Arkansas above Ohio State after O State beat them in the S-Bowl and they lost their starting QB. I don't think either team should be in the top 25. Ryan mallet was more important to that Arkansas team then people give him credit for and OSU is all sorts of fucked up with the losses and suspensions of players from last season and the loss of their head coach. It doesn't help that they have a fairly tough schedule.

).
Auburn, either. Lost most of their starters, including SuperCam, and they have to go thru the SEC West. They are fucked on top of fucked
I didn't see the rankings til after I posted, but I'm glad they are ranked.lulz, funny you shoukld say that, they were number 18.
I would disagree. Notre Dame won't ever be irrelevant as long as they are their own conference (and are on national TV every week). Plus, this is the first time they really are on the right track. They finished their first season strong (the opposite was happening with prior coaches first year). Their head coach is actually considered a good college head coach (unlike his predecessors). And unlike his predecessor, Kelly actually recruited linemen (both O and D). AND they have 2 QBs who can win college games in Kelly's system, PLUS 2 freshmen QBs who Kelly recruited.and I hope you are right. the world is a better place when ND rocks, and I think they are just one more inept season away from being fairly irrelevant.![]()
