I doubt OU will go wire to wire. Not just because it hasn't happened since the USC dynasty years, but they'd have to dethrone the SEC champ (LSU or Bama more then likely) and I don't see it happening. Big Game Bob didn't get his mojo back with a win over a really poor (by BCS standards) UConn team in the Fiesta Bowl.

And I can't wait for week 1. LSU/Oregon AND Boise/Georgia? Sign me up.

Boomer Sooner.

As it pertains to my alma mater, I expect either 6-6 or 7-5. Everyone went head over heels over Masoli and I hated how Nutt yanked Stanley in our embarrassing loss against Jacksonville State. Hopefully Lockett can stay healthy in his sixth season. I expect us to be behind LSU, Alabama, and MSU.

If we have another losing season, I'll tell every whiner to shut up because I went through the dark days of Orgeron. One game a transformer blew and I believe God didn't want to see us play

Said it here first, I think the KC Cheifs are gonna be a sleeper.

Good team last year, and had a LITTANY of very very low key but solid FA additions. Keep an eye out, they are at least solid at every position, with very good co-ordinators, and a shit division.

None of their ribals added to the roster, KC did. Lots.

It's between them and the Chargers in the West and the Chargers have been underachievers for years despite having all the talent in the world.

who's their offensive coordinator? Weis left for University of Florida.

Oh, and you're sleeping on the Oakland Raiders. They weren't half bad last season. I think they will give the west a run for its money this year. And don't count out Tim Tebow and the Broncos. He'll be made the starter eventually, and he'll lead them to a solid year, because he's Tim Tebow.

Denver's going through an entirely new coaching change. With the lack of time they had to work together in the offseason I wouldn't be surprised at another last place finish. And Oakland is going through a coaching change as well, even if there's more continuity there then Denver.

The Chargers have the most talent and just have to shore up their ST problems of last year. Rivers is a great QB and they should win that division if they perform up to their expectations.

It's the Chargers division to lose. They have the most talent plus Vincent Jackson will be there a full year. They greatly underachieved last year while the Chiefs overachieved. The loss of Charlie Weiss as O coordinator hurts as well.

The Broncos should finish last because they just aren't very good. Orton's numbers are sure to go down with the new system in place and Tim Tebow needs to worry about winning the back up job over Brady Quinn before he thinks about starting.

Joke, right?

Not at all. Going by the reports from Broncos camp, Tebow has played the worst of the three qb's and it's being said he could fall to the number three spot if he doesn't improve. The new regime in Denver has nothing invested in Tebow. They are going to have the three qbs in order of who is practicing/playing the best.

EDIT: Just went on ESPN.com and they are now reporting Tebow is the number 2 going into the preseason. However, I guarantee if Tebow struggles in the preseason games and Quinn plays well then Tebow will go down the depth chart.

Tebow is the future starter so..... you're reading incorrect reports, Tebow's been doing fine. And the new regime has a fucking lot invested in Tebow, I'll tell you that right now.

And that edit is a joke, don't act like you know anything about the Broncos (especially when you clearly don't), Tebow would be starting right now if they knew where to put Orton, so you suggesting he'll be 3rd string makes you look pretty damn stupid.

Actually, the NEW regime has fuck-all invested in Tebow, and thats why he may never see the field. its an entirely new group apart from who drafted Tebow.

Not saying the pressure wont have him in there, but not this year it doesnt look like. Not til at least December.

What makes him the future starter? The fact that he was a first round pick? He will more then likely get the chance to start eventually but unless he produces that opportunity won't last very long.

Tebow was Josh McDaniels guy. The new coaching staff aren't the ones who brought him to Denver. The only thing they have invested in him right now is about a week and a half of training camp.

Jesus Christ you are dumb. I am not the one who reported Tebow was struggling in camp and I am not the one who said he's competing more for the second spot then the first spot. That came straight from ESPN.

So explain to me why they named Kyle Orton as the starting quarterback?

There are now rumors that the Dolphins should trade for Tebow and not Orton. I doubt there is any truth to these rumors, but they are based on the same flawed "logic" that said the Jags should draft Tebow.

Speaking of the Jags, they banned rookie hazing, which I think is awesome. This means that Gabbert can keep his long, luscious, flowing locks of golden hair. Garrard has also been sidelined with a back injury, although I don't think it's serious and he's getting held out for precautionary reasons.

And there was little chance he’d be listed as No. 3 behind Brady Quinn. Yet. By all accounts, Tebow is in more of a competition with Quinn for the backup gig than he is with Orton for the top spot.

But Denver is not going to put Quinn ahead of Tebow right now. The Broncos’ brass doesn't want to shatter Tebow’s confidence. He will get a chance to show what he can do in the preseason. If Quinn outshines Tebow in a couple of preseason games, then, sure the switch could be on.

Oh, really, that's how it works? Isn't 10 yards a first down too?

You do realize the Broncos specifically looked for a coach who would use Tebow in their plans for the future, right? So please, don't act like you know about this shit when I obsessively read about it everyday.

oh but anyway, Brady Quinn may as well be a poltergeist out there, you have to be outta your fuckin mind to think he goes in before Tebow :lmao:

Big Sexy's on a roll with the ridiculous comments lately.

You start the best QB, and right now, Orton is better.

The folks down at ESPN are great storytellers.

edit: and I love how you act like I haven't read that already

You do know what a future starter is right? What "makes" him a future starter is the fact that he will, you know, start in the fucking future.

And what exactly happens if Tebow never shows he is worthy of being the starter? No spot is guaranteed in the NFL.

Oh, really, that's how it works? Isn't 10 yards a first down too?

You are making it seem like the guy is the savior of the franchise when he has proven jack shit at this level.

The Broncos looked for the best head coach possible for the entire team. No front office is stupid enough to look exclusively for coaches because of one specific player, when that one player is an unproven 2nd year qb.

And you believe everything ESPN says? Tebow has been doing fine in camp.

I believe ESPN more then you.

That blog was written by Bill Williamson. He has been working for ESPN since 2008 but before that you want to know what he did? He worked for the Denver Post for 4 years covering the Broncos. I'm sure if anyone has some good inside sources with the team it's him. Unless you have a great skill evaluating NFL talent and have been at Broncos training camp the last week and a half then your opinion isn't exactly high on the list of ones I'm going to listen to.

He played decent last year, he showed he has a pulse, which is more than I can say for Orton.

You are making it seem like the guy is the savior of the franchise when he has proven jack shit at this level.

How and I making it seem like he's a savior? I said he's the future starter, I never said he'll be good.

They looked for a guy who had Tebow in his plans, quotes from Elway (and an article on ESPN!) affirm this.

I believe ESPN more then you.

I believe people who were actually at the camp more than ESPN and you.

good shit, will come in handy when they go become the LA Jaguars.

and im on board with Tebow to Miami. they just want star sizzle down there, and Sporanomania will figure out ways to use him
