The Road to Wrestlemania includes.......Betty White?

As we all know, this week's RAW will bring back the special guest sequence that made RAW into one big clusterf*ck a few years ago. If you want to have guest stars, fine.

First off, why do it during this time of year?

Why of all people Betty White?

I think (and hope) it's only going to be a one time thing. RAW's in L.A this Monday. The celebrity capital of the world. Maybe she was the only one available to take part this Monday and they might just have her in a few small segments (some may be pre taped before they go live)

I don't think we'll be back to the weekly celebrity guest host going forward. It's nothing to worry about.

I truly have no idea. Even if someone was the biggest Betty White fan in the world, I can't imagine that would in any way influence them to watch Raw, just like I'm sure 99% of wrestling fans could care less about her appearance.

For as many things as WWE does right, there are others that I simply scratch my head over.

I agree nothing to worry about Raw is in LA mega capital of the world. Stars of stars home,Betty White is a hit very popular with all generations. It makes sense,especially when there going to plug her tv show

I'm not worried that guest stars will begin making an appearance again, but it's just odd to me that it's Betty White. Even if RAW is in L.A., it's pretty bad that good ole Betty is the only one willing to show her face on the show, even if she is promoting Off Their Rockers.

She is like 93 or 94 years old, she has been acting since before WW2, she currently has 2 hit TV shows on 2 different stations. The only thing I can figure is that Vince might be thinking he can draw on an older crowd tuning in just to see her, which is possible. I personally think the stone cold should run to the ring, Stun her, and then crack open a couple bottles of wine over her, that would be entertainment

WWE is about 2 years late on this Betty White "craze". She was on SNL and was relevant again for a while, and she got some new shows out of her re-introduction to America, but now it just seems weird.

Maybe they want her to take Mae Young's spot. Just come out at random moments and get cheap laughs acting like a horny old lady.

I think its just a one off and theres nothing wrong with the odd celebrity guest on occasion but at the moment i think its a very bad idea the live crowds wernt exactly kind to most of the guest hosts when they did it every week but since the rumble the fans have been in a particularly bad mood.im not very familliar with anything shes done so the crowd may cheer her for all i know but im guessing theres a better chance that she will be bombarded with boos,cm punk and yes chants all night instead.

I just hope they don't have her walk to the ring. It will take forever. That maybe my cue to get some things done around the house. Im ok with a celebrity appearance every now and then but c'mon a 90+ year old celebrity, i f I wanted that I would switch to the hallmark or lifetime channel. Who is coming up with these ideas?

On a side note. When does everyone think Hogan will finally show up? Im thinking maybe the Feb 24 Raw to hype the Netowrk launch and maybe get his Wrestlemania role going. I imagine that will be the day for the main Mania build.

Guest celebrity appearances are hit and miss when it comes to Monday Nigh RAW. Betty White wouldn't be my first choice when it comes to any sort of sporting event, but she can be entertaining if the situation calls for it. The timing is rather odd, unless she's promoting something and WWE has hopes her appearance on the show will get media attention, or WWE is going along with trolling the fans. Either way I doubt it'll have a major effect on the show. Just another stupid decision we'll have to stomach during this horrendous booking season.

Maybe Betty White is being brought in to be a recast of Mae Young.

I don't think that they'll make her a major part of Raw, certainly not anything to detract from the show. Personally, I think she's hilarious most of the time. They could go the route of her being in a segment where she comes off as a sweet, lovable and slightly perverted little old lady. As long as they try not to make her the focus of the show and don't have her segments take up a lot of time, it'll be fine.

I hate celebrity guest appearances. She must've fucked Vince, Shane, and HHH at the same time to get this gig. Next up, Sexual Chocolate gonna give her a left hand for a baby!
