Anyways I thought it was fucking pointless and it's silly of WWE to think that Betty White is going to get anyone they can make money off of to tune in. Are they going to convert senior citizens into WWE fans at age 70? Who is tuning into Monday Night Raw to see Betty White bruh?
I can see where the concept of including celebrities every now and then to attract new audiences makes sense. But the WWE is doing it wrong.
For example, why was Betty White (who, although probably a sweet lady and nothing against her, most people in the WWE's demographic could not give two flying fucks about) advertised heavily for the show and featured in segments and shit, but Wiz Khalifa (much more relevant to the WWE's demographic and in pop culture right now) was on screen for no more than ten seconds. Hell, even an Instagram post from Wiz Khalifa saying to watch Raw this Monday does more for the WWE (based on their demographic) than Betty White's involvement.
But whatever I'm just rambling. I don't really give a fuck. Betty White's appearance has no long term effects and I'm sure that time would have been spent on something else pointless like a few Kofi Kingston pin kickouts or some more spots in a randomly thrown together Wyatt or Shield vs. random face team six man tag.
I just think it's funny to see the WWE (who stayed in business in the late 90's by being (and priding themselves on being) the "cool kids") be so painfully out of touch in such a cringe-inducing way.
But fuck it Vince, ride those dance offs and laxative skits to a billion.
