If this thread has already been started somewhere, feel free to combine them or delete this one, but who, in your opinion is the TRUE champion of champions? Honestly, I have to go with, as much as I hat to, King Bookaaaa! Sure, Big Show has held all three titles..BUT...his WWE Title reign was a transitional champion...come on, they had him defend the title against the Bossman. In WCW, he was pretty much the same, just a go between until the Hogan wanted the belt back, and he wouldn't even be ECW champion if they hadn't had to suspend RVD for his and Sabu's re-enactment of Cheech and Chong's Greatest Hits. Cena has only held the WWE Title, unless you count the UPW and OVW Reigns he had, and he is getting really stale. Booker, however, is a 5 TIME, 5 TIME, 5 TIME, 5 TIME, 5 TIME WCW CHAMPION, not to mention he is one of the most decorated chgampions on the current WWE Roster. What does everyone else think?
 
John Cena. He Kicks Ass. He's won cage matches, an I quit match, a TLC Match, and even the Elimination Chamber. First title reign lasted 9 months, and he has beaten top stars such as Kurt Angle and Triple H.

At Cyber Sunday, Cena will become the Champion of Champions!!!!!!!!!
 
I wondered how long it would take the Cena marks to invade this thread. Cena has only held one major title, he is by far the LEAST deserving of the three to be named Champion of Champions
 
Booker T i think is the champ of champs. i personally hate his King Booker gimmick but i loved the Can you dig it SUCKAAA. plus you cant forget about him being the 5x, 5x, 5x, 5x, 5x wcw champion
 
Big show is not very talented, he is just big. Granted in his career he has been very entertaining, and can put on good matches every once in a while.

Booker is the most decorated, but with his current gimmick I cannot bare to call him the champion of champions.

Cena, well, he blows. He has gotten a little less annoying lately, but I cannot stand his matches which always end with the 5 moves of doom or whatever it is called. If he would go heel again and redo his rap promos, I could stand him because I liked him back then. He just isn't entertaining right now. Makes godawful jokes too.

None of them deserve the name. HHH and HBK are the only people I can think of (off the top of my head, there is most likely other) who could have the belt and I would not question the decision to give it to them. I would say Taker, but I don't really see him as a champion, he is fun to watch, I can't explain it I just don't see him as champion.

So he held all three belts. Look at the title reigns, I don't pretend to know about them, but the fact that he has held all 3 titles means nothing to me. Vince McMahon was one the WWF Champ, David Arquette was the WCW champion. It is what you do when you are champion that means something.
 
If you look based solely on quality of championship reigns, I hate to say it but I am gonna have to go with John Cena, even though I severely dislike him. Booker had multiple title reigns in the late stages of WCW when he and Scott Steiner dropped the title back and forth to each other. The Big Show, I am unaware of his reign in WCW but with his two WWE title reigns, one he was definitely a transitional champ when he won at Survivor Series 99, but he defended it against nobody. In his second reign, he only won the title because Heyman double crossed Brock Lesnar and Big Show won that way. Whereas Cena beat a quality champ to win the title (JBL, who had a long reign) and then held the belt for several months beating quality competition in JBL, Chris Jericho, Christian, Kurt Angle and winning the Elimination Chamber. The two times he lost the title were when guys used their Money in the Bank shots to have the match totally in their favor. (Edge beating a beat down Cena after the Chamber and RVD at One Night Stand in front of a hostile crowd.

And then just on a side note, am I the only one that thinks Big Show was at his best in the summer of '03 when he went into that triple threat match with Angle and Lesnar at Vengeance?

So on merit based standards, I hate to say it, but Cena is the Champion of Champions out of the three.

The only people I would respectfully honor as a Champ of Champs would be Triple H, Shawn Michaels or Ric Flair because they have established a lot of credibility for themselves as multiple time extended period world champs.
 
I also have to go with Booker T. I really like Cena and he did really well in the TLC and cage match. But, Booker has been around longer,and besides holding the WCW belt 5 times he was I believe a ten time tag team champ with his brother Stevie Ray, they were awesome. He's also held the US belt in WCW and WWE. And who can forget his best of seven matches with Benoit for the WCW television belt!
 
Booker all the way, maybe you guys don't think so, but I believe his new "King Booker" gimmick is awesome. It's annoying as hell, but isn't that just the point for heels in kayfabe wrestling ??????????????? :headbanger:

No, not if it is so annoying to the point that you have to switch the channel. There is a fine line between heat and hatred.

I have already said that I don't see any of them as champ of champs.
 
king booker is the champ of all champs he's a very skilled and very over with his king booker gimmick unlike **** fena who's over with the over weight chicks a under age boys and cant have a good match even if it was with god
 
Got to be Booker out of the 3 muppets that hold the titles at the moment. I'm just waiting for HBK to have his knee surgery so the King of Kings can take his rightful place back at the top
 
Alright listen this Cena thing as gone on for too long now okay Cena does your so called "5 moves of doom" give me a break alright at least he gets the job done also Cena deserves to be the champ of champs and he doesnt blow he ende the longest title reign in years and has held for the same amount of time as the champion before him no not Edge but JBL

If you watched SD this Friday when he was on commentary he lost his temper and he suddenly changed back to BookerT. He could be back to the Booker we all know and love.

Exactly, Cena doesn't give a rat's ass...about what the fans think, about the fans at all. All he gives a damn about is the bottom line, the bank. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Randy Orton, for being the asshole that he is, is more accessible to fans, as is RVD, Snitsky, Balls Mahoney, even Edge. These are the guys that, regardless of what they say in the ring, know the fans made them and got them where they are, and they bust their ass to come up with new shit for the fans, so the don't have to chant SAME OLD SHIT, SAME OLD SHIT. Come on, you can't tell me that every time Cena wrestles, if you can call it that, you can't sit there.."oh look, Throwback...protoplex...5 knuckle shuffle...F-U...STFU!!!" Yawn...and of course this comes after the series of "brutal shoulder tackles" Cena is a punk, only problem is, it's not so much gimmick as it is that he is just a punk.
 
okay again complaining about how many moves he does listen WWE is STAGED he does not do these things without instruction or direction or in an order i dont know it's in the script or taping and if he doest he gets FIRED or SUSPENDED......VINCE is an a-hole want can I say about that i cant CONTROL what WWE does NOW! i dont get why people COMPLAIN about how you say he does 5 moves just SHUT UP and KEEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!!!!

Hey, little mark boy...the wrestlers plan out their matches...not mcmahon, he just sets the finishes. So yeah, it is on Cena that he does the same old shit every time. Oh, I suppose next you'll say that he does the same things because thats all every opponent he has ever had will let him do to them...get a clue junior, Cena sucks

this is an open forum,. i can bitch and moan about The Protobitch Cena all I want...last I checked this was a Wrestling...more specifically WWE Forum
