Age Of Ultron is a genuinely very good movie and people will come around to it in a few years time.

Doubt anyone tops that.

I liked it more than the first.
Just finished my third viewing. Each time, I become more strongly convinced that this film is being wrongly maligned. People have their preconceived biases about what does and doesn't make for a good movie, and this movie ticks more than a few boxes in the "doesn't" column. And while I have a couple bones to pick with the movie, the positives vastly outweigh the negative. This is art, not science. People shouldn't let breaking the alleged "rules" be so damning, especially when we're talking about something which is as serialized as these films. You want your MCU? The rules change a little. Deal with it.

Better than the first? Maybe.

While we're at it with movies, Michael Mann's Miami Vice is one of the best movies of the previous decade.

I happen to think the Mandarin wasn't badly done in Iron Man 3.

It was a variation on the character that no-one expected, but I think it was all right.

Part of me is a sucker for the British luvvie stereotype though, and the magnificence of Ben Kingsley actually technically playing his true self and nationality for once.

What? How is this an unpopular opinion? AoU kicks so much ass it needs a shoe polish especially formulated for buttock smell.

Thanks Yahtzee.

Yeah Age of Ultron was solid. Coco's not wrong, it does get a back rap, but I think most people at least enjoyed it for the most part.

I remember enjoying it when I watched it and my only complaint was that they solved the problem the same way they created the problem.

Another unpopular-but-actually-somewhat popular opinion, of course, is that all superhero movies are the same.

Which is an oversimplification, but I see what such people mean. The format is rather formulaic for the most part, which is partly why I liked Ant Man so much.

To say this, all D.C. movies and tv shows are the same. I also believe Daredevil is a D.C. comic book hero because the show format is very D.C.

I must be hanging out in the wrong places. Most people I see tend to treat AoU like it's toxic death.
