I'm not surprised. He may have his issues, but Disney and Saban still lowball everyone spectacularly. Especially with the recent 20th anniversary special.

Oh, absolutely. The reason they moved production to NZ was because they could hire non union workers and pay them less. But, it's a poor reflection on the guy for not being willing to do so much as voice work, considering he'd done the exact same thing in Dino Thunder. The 20th anniversary invites were pretty much a joke. However, JDF has the reputation in the fandom off a reason.

He's basically Adam West, without any of West's positive traits and more of a wanker. Also: Power Rangers movie? Totally his idea. Never mind Saban wanting to do it before selling to Disney, JDF himself suggested it.

Saban and Lionsgate had this idea so they can do away with the TV shows and make expensive movies once every couple of years, Avengers style. There's some talk being thrown around that you might see a PG-13 thing out of it.
