Those are all decent stats Norcal, but I'm looking into next year and what just happened this past season. The Big East is becoming a powerhouse right before our eyes. Next season it will be wickedly good, right behind the SEC.
All of the teams will continue to improve although Rutgers will drop a bit, UConn maybe but if you also look at the Pac 10.
Oregon and Arizona St will also drop a bit.
SEC > Big East > Pac 10

Fast defense = domination of WVUs offense. Ask USF and Pitt.
USC's D > both of those defenses best players combined. AND faster. AT LEAST 4 guys off that D become NFL players in the first 3 rounds of the draft saturday.

Louisville = one of the worst teams in the nation last year, looked as if they had absolutely no comprehension on how to play defense at times. One of the worst teams of the nation, and THE biggest dissappointment of the year.

You are aware that rutgers 2006 season was so magical because they are one of the absolute worst programs in college football history right?? UCLA has loads of talent, just had a lame ass coach. And Rutgers would pull up at number two in the most dissappointing teams in the nation last year.
Cincy and Cuse are two of the most historically bad football programs in college football history. dont belive me?? look it up.
Washington and Stanford both have great legacies on the other hand. And Washington is a fine up and coming program.

Yeah, returning almost every offensive and defensive starter and one of the best rushers in the nation, with all but one on the O Line back, plus add a top 20 recruiting class and the best in the Big East is doubtful
Zona St was overrated as fuck, they played a schedule full of cupcakes to get that undefeated streak.
The have fucking Hunter Cantwell who will be a pro prospect probably more so than Brohm.

WVU is going to be mad good this year, I mean all you need is White and Devine and you are dangerous. As long as Stewart doesn't change there style, there defense will be better because they are returning basically every player, there offense will be just as good, they are only losing Slayton, they will be contending for a National Title again this year.

No. We can assume one conference is better than the other based on what happened the previous season, the talent returning, and the competitiveness and power of the conference as a whole.
Half of it's teams will be on the decline coming into 08. While the Big East will just get stronger with Pitt being a BCS probable team.
Coming into 08, yes they are. Anything else said is utterly stupid.
Yeah, means nothing now that the Bulls are ascending more than any team in the Big East outside of Pittsburgh, who they arguably will be better than.
Where is Oregon going? Enlighten me. Oh thats right, they'll have to go to big games on the road, quiet a bit next season while losing 2 key weapons on Offense.
