The Big East is far more stacked and competitive.
WVU could take USC.
Pitt is going to be godly this year. Therefore Pitt > Zona St.
Louisville > Cal.
South Florida > Oregon.
Rutgers > UCLA
UConn, Cincy and Cuse > Pac 10 Bottom Dwellers.
Need I go on?

Big East only recently became competent.
their bowl record from last season against far inferior talent certainley proves that
A brian like statement Wes. I am immensely dissappointed right now.
Never. In a million fucking years. Lets break this down....
Fast defense = domination of WVUs offense. Ask USF and Pitt.
USC's D > both of those defenses best players combined. AND faster. AT LEAST 4 guys off that D become NFL players in the first 3 rounds of the draft saturday.
Brian?? Is that you?? Wes...generally when u agree with Brian its a bad thing. especially since Zona St will probably be a top ten team this year.
do you even WATCH college football??? lets see here
Cal = ranked in the top 5 of the nation for a month, topping off at number 2. Won their bowl game
Louisville = one of the worst teams in the nation last year, looked as if they had absolutely no comprehension on how to play defense at times. One of the worst teams of the nation, and THE biggest dissappointment of the year.
this is the best one
you do know Oregon beat South Florida by 34 points in a bowl game with their best player and the centerpeice of their offense watching from the sideline no???
You are aware that rutgers 2006 season was so magical because they are one of the absolute worst programs in college football history right?? UCLA has loads of talent, just had a lame ass coach. And Rutgers would pull up at number two in the most dissappointing teams in the nation last year.
Cincy and Cuse are two of the most historically bad football programs in college football history. dont belive me?? look it up.
Washington and Stanford both have great legacies on the other hand. And Washington is a fine up and coming program.
please dont. I almost feel bad for what I just had to do.
You mean the almighty Pat White and Steve Slayton could take on whatever 5-star recruits the Trojans have? You make me laugh, Wes. Really.
I doubt that.
You seriously believe a Brian Brohm-less Louisville is better then Cal? Another joke.
This year: Yes. Last Year: no.
Both are mediocre. I won't argue that.
Like I said, they're all mediocre. That's like saying Tommy Dreamer is better then Balls Mahoney.
please dont. I almost feel bad for what I just had to do.
Yeah, you got more off point than DIAR, I couldn't even reply to the full post. Norcal, we aren't talking about past history and JUST last year.
What I was merely stating is that, based on last year, up until now. The Big East is better, more competitive, more stacked and will probably be the nations #2 conference going into the preseason, and ending it.
based on last year, up until now.
Ok Wes, so we can assume one conference is better than another based upon games that havent happened yet
as of right now. Pac 10 > Big East.
to say anything else is utterly outlandish. let the results go down differently next year, and then you can say the big east is better. but as of right now, they arent.
And Bowl games are pretty much the definitive argument makers when arguing conferences. and the only Big East Vs Pac 10 match up saw Oregon go over USF 56-21. Without Dennis Dixon, whom the entire offense went through
