None of them have beaten in a 7 game series because they haven't played a series yet. I bet they will make in to the WCF, but they won't beat the Spurs

What I meant was when it was believed that Bynum would be back by now, so they would have both of them, thats when I thought they were a virtual lock to win it all, when it was believed Bynum would be back to play alongside Gasol.

Gotta state your meaning better. I still believe Bynum is milking his injury. I was hoping he be back for the last few games and the whole playoffs, with him playing the way he was and all the other amazing talent we have I was confident..But he isn't back and may not be there for game 1. He is milking his injury.

Technically the Spurs are the team to beat, but realistically the C's and Lakers are the favorites, even though I dont think any of them will win it. I am picking the Suns, well after the Nuggets of course, have to support my team.

I get what you're saying about the Spurs being the team to beat, because they're the defending champions. I still think the Celtics are the better team though. I also think the Lakers will take out the Spurs, so I haven't really been thinking much about them.

The Suns have a better chance this year than they have any other year, they have a big man now, Stoud is a beast, they are going to be a tough out. There are 10 teams that can win it all, all 8 in the west, the Celtics and the Pistons. Any one of them can win it, I think the Suns have the best chance, you think the Celtics, difference in opinion, not that big of a deal.

Yeah, I no longer expect the Lakers to win, with Bynum healthy I would, but without him no. It is really a toss up, any of the West Teams could make it to the finals, the Suns are my pick, I am cheering for the Nuggets, but one of the other six will probably come out of the West, that is how it goes, especially this year.

The Spurs are the team to beat based off of them being the champions, Shaq said it, you have to go through the champions, until they lose, they are the team to beat, more than the Lakers Celtics or anybody else. They aren't the favorites though, if that makes sense.

Boston is 12th in Rebounds and the Lakers are 4th, so the Lakers out rebound the Celtics and the Lakers are 4th in Blocks compared to Bostons 18th. They are also 6th in steals and Boston is 5th. The Lakers also top Boston in PPG and FG% also assists as well. So who knows why xfear thinks Boston is better, I mean look at the teams they play! Even with better teams the Lakers turn the ball over less and committ less fouls! The Lakers also have the most wins when scoring 100 points or more.

Ummm...what? The favorites usually if not always win.

LSU wasn't a favorite for the BCS? Red Sox weren't a favorite for the World Series? Spurs weren't a favorite last year to win the NBA title?

There will always be upsets, but more times then not the favorite team (IE the one with the best talent and stats) ends up winning. That's why they're the favorites.

Opponents assists per game is kinda worthless. I stated before the lakers shoot better and make less mistakes, they are more efficient than Boston. Also Bostons D means nothing as the teams they played were poor. And how telling is that when Gasol wasn't there for most of the year? The Lakers have improved tons with him and would have won 65+ if Gasol and Bynum played the full year. What happened before Gasol isn't valid as the Lakers would have beat you twice if he was there. Also The Celtics are 2-0 against the Spurs.

I highly doubt the Lakers would've beaten us twice, and you saying they would is just wild speculation on your part, we can't predict what could've or would've happened.

It doesn't matter how efficient ya are when you've got KG stuffed down your throat, Pierce shooting from the midrange, and Allen hitting the 3's. Add our experienced bench, and the getting better every day Rajon Rondo, I just don't see the C's losing. KG has inspired this team too much for them to ever quit or let someone get the best of them when it counts.
