How exactly is talking about a game for less then 5 minutes treating it like a playoff game? Seriously, where is the logic? I'm baffled by the lack of it.

So, because a Page 2 columnist (I hope you know how loosely affiliated the Page 2 columnists are with the ESPN company) gives 10 ludicrous "examples" of east coast bias, it's true? Riiiight. Those 10 "examples" are absolutely hilarious. Let's go through them.

Derek Jeter. Last time I checked there were no Derek Jeter special's, nor do I remember the last time that ESPN would spend 20 minutes talking about Jeter. I do recall them spending 20 minutes talking about Kobe Bryant though.

This guy is pissed that Joe Namath is named the 88th best athlete of the century? ROFL. Really? As though 88 were some ludicrously high number. Please. What a pathetic "example" of east coast bias.

College Football polls is gut-bustingly funny. Apparently this guy thinks that ESPN owns the Assosciated Press. ROFL

The Washington-Miami 1991 shared title...is ESPN's fault how exactly?

Then he says that an "example" of east coast bias is that people in New York are always talking about how great baseball was in the 50s. Then he goes on to say that baseball actually sucked in the 50s. How is that even an example?

Next up we've got Jeremy Shockey. Who did have a great rookie season. And then the writer says "So what?". Umm, okay. Yeah, so what? He's only one of the best TEs in football right now, and again, where is this exageratted Jeremy Shockey hour long specials I seem to be missing every sunday?

The rest of them to be honest aren't even worth my time.

If you find that to be "an admission" that ESPN is east-coast biased, then clearly you just decided to ignore the fact that this was PART ONE OF A TWO PART SERIES, arguing East vs. West coast bias. Here's the other part of the story, the one that proves the East Coast bias theory is a crock of shit.

2) I wasn't using it as proof, I was using it to show even ESPN's own writers consider it a biased network and explains why and how EC biased exists.

Moving on.

I think the Lakers own the tie breaker against the hornets, so if Lakers win they clinch the #1 or even if they lose they can get it.
 
I'd say seven, Denver is deadly at home, so it is going to be a tough series for the Lakers, although I want Denver to win, I think the Lakers will advance, although I am not as confident in the Lakers now that Bynum is still not healthy and likely wont make an impact in that series.

It will be the most entertaining series in the First Round by far.

One writer, who clearly did a decade long comprehensive study into all aspects of ESPN's coast bias, gives ten ridiculious "reasons" for how the network is East Coast biased, and what does that prove? Did you even look at the 10 Reasons given? They were all laughable at best, some not even relating to ESPN in any way whatsoever!

And you don't see how that in itself is a biased argument to make? To present one side of an argument and TOTALLY IGNORE the other side? Thats usually called bias.

Glad to see the old Wes standby of resorting to insults is still intact though.

I must have forgot that being in the majority equals being in the right. Most of the nation also agreed with slavery at one time. So clearly they were right.

Our nation, which is half full of the most idiotic scum on the planet Earth, decides that theres East Coast bias, so it must be true? With not a single legit shred of evidence to support that? Usually thats what we call a "baseless claim".
 
ESPN is east coast biased, it's obvious, just watch the damn channel, the only people I have ever seen deny this are people who have lived on the east coast all their lives
