Moss is clearly better, Wayne only lead in yards by 17 and the only reason he got so many receptions is because Harrison was hurt and Moss set an NFL record in TD's. Moss played in 13 games last year and was in Oakland, no peyton there and even in Oakland in 2005 he had less receptions but was behind Wayne by only 50 yards and had higher yards per catch than Wayne and more TD's. So Moss is better.
Wayne still out performed Moss. I dont see how Moss is better when Wayne has consistently put up more receiving yards, and yards per game. 06 Wayne averaged 81.87 yds per game, where moss averaged 42.5.
2005.. Moss averaged 62.8
Wayne averaged 65.9.
thats close but Wayne still gets the nod...
So how is Moss better in 07,06 and 05?
10.3 yards per catch and was great for what they used him, and it was the dolphins with no good QB.
So by your logic, Santanio Holmes is th best receiver in the NFL because he averages 18.1 yd per reception. Besides, who cares, a good receiver should be able to bring the best out in a QB.
This is absurd, Harrison is the best route runner in the NFL. He is not quick by any means, he just knows how to get open... Ok, all of Moss's good years have been because of Culpepper, and Brady... Fair enough... Moss's success this year is Brady? Why because Moss has been bad without a solid QB. So all of Moss's success is either Culpepper, or Brady.
Alright scratch out Moss with his 23 tds and put brady's name right their... it was Brady who made those catches, not Moss
While Moss was being buried in Oakland with a terrible O.
The o-line has nothing to do with him coaching the ball. Wanna know why Moss wasn't successful in Oakland? its because he doesnt want to play, because Moss cant bring the best out in a QB.
Thats not inconsistency thats being used as a mid range WR. He is good for what the use him for, mid range passes and he was never the #1 WR, In NO it was Joe Horn those years and his one year in philly he only play in 12 games and McNabb in 10, so he is fine.
A first round draft pick better be able to do more than that especially at the WR position or he is considered a bust.
