Like the sig, X? I was thinking about him as I wrote my essay on existentialism because the essay used The Stranger as a springboard. Now I just want to read The Myth of Sisyphus(learned about it but never got around to reading it) and the Rebel and live the rest of my life as an absurdist. It guess it's better than being a nihilist.![]()
We were discussing the ending of The Stranger and how Camus always believed there was beauty in life, no matter what darkness he was surrounded by, how he thought there was beauty in the struggle itself. I'm apparently going to be trying to find the beauty in my daily struggle now.
As he should be.
Only the cool kids like Camus, remember that Murf. And you're allowed to physically assault anyone who pronounces his name incorrectly.
I live in suburbia and am exposed mostly to people that can pronounce his name. Those who can't are probably jacked enough to make me reconsider any violent urges. Unlike you I'm not willing to get into a fist fight over Christopher Columbus.
Why, GD?
