The Place of Unlearning

Bump because I'd rather talk in here. I called del Potro being awesome before he won.

I am currently trying to steal shoes from the freshman cross country team.

In English class my teach made us make kites with our dreams on them. Everyone made diamond 2-D kites, and I made a box kite in 3-D with a dream on each panel. I changed the orientation from panel to panel so that you have to twist and turn the kite to read them all.
Dreams on the kite:
-Go to college
-Please my parents
-Get a Black Card
-Live to my late fifties/early sixties
-Join the NRA
-Travel the world
-Punch Michael Moore
-can't remember the last one

Tdigle should get online so we can talk more often. Sometimes I think you love me, then it seems like you resent me. I need someone to ramble with. Jake would be good, but he seems to have lost interest in me and my amazing Flickchart.

I pronounce the 'er' in interesting. My sister told me to stop using that word because people thought I was mocking them when I said it.

I called someone a mouth-breather today.

I pronounce the "er" in interesting as well. It's a product of my speech therapy in my younger days. I had trouble with the "r" sounds, so I had to go through words and purposefully pronounce the sounds.

I didn't have classes like that, but the thought of pronouncing it the other way bothers me for some reason.

I went on flickchart...the movies weren't obscure enough. I was embarrassed because a) there were a bunch of movies that I haven't seen that I should have by this point in my life and b) my favorite movie, according to flickchart, was Shaun Of The Dead. I don't plan on going back there.

That's understandable. I lost interest after a while. If you look at my chart, you'll probably laugh a bit.

I've been playing tennis these past few nights to get exercise. My math teacher is a bitch. At least one of my co-workers picked me up a pack of 27's when I asked him to. I feel like I'm missing out on something all the time. :(

Yes. I only go through about a pack a week so I figured that I might as well get nicer cigarettes. You'll probably say the same thing for smoking, but I find dip to be disgusting. The only people I've known that dip are drug dealers and jocks, legit.

Do you share my feeling that the bar is not very enjoyable these days? I either just go into threads by established posters or pop my head into see why some of these mindless threads get so much response. Ugh, I miss the good old days.

A pack a week?

Grow some hair on that chest boy. I demand you begin smoking unfiltered cigarettes. A pack a day.

Urgh, not unfiltered X.

Pack a day though is quite manly ;)

I go through a pack of 30's in about 2 days.

When I was in America I tried dip, some kind of apple flavour and it was fucking disgusting! Although the plane trip back home to Aus was good with it, i left a coke bottle full of dip spit on the plane hahaha

.... Dip Spit.... sounds odd....

Dip is very disgusting, but, it's still the bomb diggity (although, I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you use it to get the edge off and for concentration purposes, as it is highly addictive).

Anyone tried those new Camel dip "pouches" they've been giving away with packs? They're okay if you just want to make your mouth numb and minty.

It'd be difficult to hide a pack a day addiction from my parents, X. I have to remain in covert ops mode until college or enlistment.

48, How have you been? I don't see you that much these days.

X, Respond to my Cloverfield comments in the thread of Bullshit.

48, you should stick mostly to this thread from now on.

X, Respond to my comments on Codplay in your thread.

I enjoyed the manga Claymore. Not my favorite, but it's good.

We don't get anything remotley like dip in Australia.

Just ordinary smokes. And rollies which I noticed America isn't really into.

What does everyone smoke? X, you sound like a Camels guy....?

The way I see it, man, there's four good things in life: alcohol, tobacco, food, and sex. Too much of the first three will kill you, but it's pretty hard to get an excessive amount of sex (although, that would be a good thing). Since only one out of every 1,000 guys gets more ass than a toilet seat, the Average Joe have to resort to one or more of the other three good things I mentioned. Ultimately, you'll probably die of either cirrhosis, cancer, or obesity, so, who gives a fuck?

Ahh, I remember the covert days. Hiding cigarette packs in my sock drawer. My sock drawer contained more illegal substances than socks :lmao:

I'll respond here. I liked Cloverfield too, quite a bit. But I'm an Abrams fanboy, so maybe I'm biased.

What about them? I'm sure my cool meter will drop quite a few bumps by admitting it, but I love Coldplay. Absolutely love them. The Scientist is one of the most beautiful songs ever in my opinion. Fix You as well.

I know what you mean. I used to pull my bottom drawer out and put my shit underneath and then slide the drawer back in. I love my mum but there was no way she was smart enough to find anything. Love you mumsies ;)

Coldplay are great and I love the Scientist too. One of the best music vids ever made I reckon, just awesome. Their newer stuff hasn't been as good though. Clocks is another sick song. Hate Yellow though, that song should die.

U forgot weed. Weed is great :)

I can only imagine, Candyman.

It wasn't perfect, but it was much more enjoyable than I expected it to be.

I love The Scientist. Some of their stuff I'm not fond of, but they have some great tracks.

I'm not particularly into alcohol yet, but that's pretty much true. My parents don't get why I'm so set on eating food that I like.

How far did you get into it? Did my mention of it prompt you to read it?

Yeah and it was mentioned on a forum I go to. I got up to the current issue. The first few issues were a bit slow and the art irked me, but it grows on you for sure. They need to spend more time on Raki. I want to see him do something of importance.

So, I've been reading/watching Bleach lately. I'm really digging it. Who the hell sings the theme song to the show? I can't get that out of my head, reminds me of like a Japanese Weezer.

Still haven't seen Akira or Ninja Scroll, eh? Or wait, you've seen Ninja Scroll right? Thoughts? Go watch Akira, right fucking now.

Dunno about Bleach, but it is a good story, right? I really need to see Akira, and I really liked Ninja Scroll.

Saw Battle Royale. It was great in some ways. I really liked it.

Great in some ways?

Battle Royale is absolutely fantastic. Practically a masterpiece.

And yes. Get on Akira. Right now.
