Leave it to TNA to lose two more big talents while both of them are holding titles. Roode would be awesome, though he's 39 so I imagine if he ends up in NXT then NXT is likely where he ends his career. EY... WWE does love themselves comedy wrestlers & EY has proven he can fill that role.

Young could still have a good place in NXT/WWE. Pretty sure he is younger than Roode & there always seems to be a place in McMahon-land for a good worker that can do comedy. Look at Goldust, Truth, Santino, etc. A comedy jobber with mid card potential can still be a better pay check than what TNA can legit offer now.

Roode may be older, but can still go and even in a limited run he could be a nice addition to the roster. Kind of always wanted to see him and Orton in a heel team & that may be just a wish but it would be nice.

You're right, terrible timing for a Roode/Storm team in NXT, but...

The timing is just right for Roode and Austin Fuckin' Aries!





Roode and Aries as a tag team are about as good as any pairing on the planet, and at their advanced ages(Roode is 39 and Aries is about to turn 38) teaming together in NXT, and possibly eventually the main roster, may be their best chance for title success under the WWE banner, and it would be a huge boost for the company's tag team depth.

They could even set up the pair at Takeover Dallas, with Roode making a shocking debut to save Aries during a post-match beatdown by Corbin.

I also did not realize this until that song came on in some movie I was watching the other night.

How random man. That song was like, a minor hit 20 years ago and is almost kind of demeaning when you consider the original lyrics are "Hey, we want some PUUSSSSSYYYYY".

Just another reason to hate that chant and the general jackassery of the Full Sail crowds.

NXT needs gatekeepers and former TNA stars are the perfect fit for that. The obvious exception being EC3, who was so wasted - and not in a "Well, he suddenly blossomed when he left" sort of way - in WWE that it's not even funny.

We’re getting very close to Takeover: Dallas with just two shows to go before perhaps the biggest show in the history of the promotion. The card is almost entirely set now and it should be interesting to see how they final building process goes. NXT tends to be good at this so hopefully the trend continues. Let’s get to it.
