I'm genuinely surprised they didn't hold off on the Bliss match until Takeover - instead we get a match with virtually no build. However, the women of NXT make a habit of exceeding expectations, so I'm hopeful.

I think the build is fine, albeit a little rushed. They very much could have milked the monster squashing her way through the roster on the way to Bailey for longer, but she appears to be sufficiently in danger, and its a very intruiging match up

Wait, wait, wait, you mean to tell me two people that were doing great things on NXT got moved up to the main roster & almost immediately lost in the shuffle, who could have possibly ever seen this coming?!

Hey lets bring an entire division up so we can remold our current division!


How are we gonna do that? Why not by letting the new girls work with each other and put on great matches, but by having them wrestle the girls who were the reason the division NEEDED a makeover, to continue lackluster matches and/or do absolutely nothing.



Then, we wait until every bit of momentum and interest has died off, and THEN let the worker girls go into programs with one another.

In a sea of terrible booking, the match booking of Paige/Charlotte at Survivor Series was some of the worst I have seen in a while.

I can sort of accept not having any decent ideas, but to then actually have an idea and give it some time and exposure to develop into a personal feud only to then book a wrestling match was criminal.

You have to think that HHH has at least some input on what takes place for the main roster, but I assume final say still goes to Dunn & Vince. Till at least one of them steps away, those who get called up will have a hard time doing anything too fantastic.

Enzo & Cass will blow the roof off Wembley Arena.

Bull & Dillinger just had an amazing comedy match.

Oh wow.

The Jordan /Gable hype is real. They are excellent.

Crews / Corbin took their time getting to a good match but when they started hitting each other it got good in a hurry.

Bayleys match got hijacked by a new but better chant.

The Joe Finn Sami main event was a glorified singles match but a couple of sick spots including the finish. A coup de grace to Sami while he was in the clutch.

No Regal made me sad.

Are there enough Europeans/non-working Americans around to warrant NXT: London getting its own LD thread this evening? Or should we just keep it in here?

Damn fine. Your Enzo and Cass pop wasnt as loud as ours, but overall you were more involved.


It was great that London was able to bring a true individualized flavor to their show.

The reaction for Enzo/Cass seemed quieter on the Network than it did live. Acoustics - how do they work?

On reflection, it was a good show, not great. No surprises, nothing of any real consequence. The two pillars that I feel the show should have been built on - Enzo & Cass' big win, Sami's return - never materialised.

Still, it was a lot of fun.

Besides the Enzo/Cass loss, only thing that bugged me was the homeless rasta demon entrance. I think the dreads threw off the Ripper element. Otherwise great show.

That last time Bayley sunk in the choke was fantastic. Fantastic. Oh, and how sick was the Asuka/Jax staredown moment? I cannot wait for that match. Once again, a sly smile says a thousand words.

My love of Sami has ruined other wrestling for me - it's official. I've just rewatched the main event and it's much better than I remember it being. Watching it live, I was just fed up that I wasn't going to see Sami Zayn. I was still chanting and whatnot, sure, but my heart just wasn't in it. Definitely both Finn and Joe's best match in NXT.

The Bayley match was ruined for me because I thought Bayley was dead and that, after the tag match, they'd decided to bring NXT to England just to taunt me.
