The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

I feel like there will be some Neville vs Bo Dallas tossed in there too. There is gonna be a Finn Balor match (probably Beast In The East).

He had a good match with Joe and he's starting to look more comfortable in the ring. He's getting there. More than I can say for Eva despite being a lot better than she was when she first came into WWE.

They are really sticking to their guns with the Eva thing, huh? Christ, if they really want to put over the 'model' type- why not pick a new girl to back that fans don't already fucking despise? Seems easier than forcing something that is already an uphill struggle.

Corbin is in the Strowman role: he's there to do one thing and rarely deviates from that plan. It would work well enough.

Corbin being the third man is fine, it's all filler for Reigns/Bray anywya.

This episode reminded me how underwhelming I still find the Ascension, even with their NXT fanfare.

Eva Marie winning the title will happen eventually and it will be a very dark day, I'm both excited and scared.

I'd rather Eva Marie win the Divas title than the NXT Womens title. The NXT Womens title feel like it actually matters to the brand, the Divas title has been tarnished beyond repair already, Eva Marie couldn't do anymore damage to it's legacy no matter how fucking awful she is.

I said earlier in this very thread that I'd be all for an Eva Marie championship reign - and, thanks to the contrarian in me, I kind of would - but I don't buy that rumour for a second. It would be hard to believe if Vince McMahon announced it live on Monday Night Raw with a tearful Triple H in the background; it's especially hard to believe right after Bayley just had one of the best matches of the last ten years and Eva Marie, bless her cotton socks, can't even time a kick-out correctly. Still, it's best to assume the worst.

The Dusty Classic continues this week as we get to see a few more first round matches tonight. The tournament has taken the promotion by storm and it’s already more interesting than I was hoping for it to be. We’re also just about a month away from the next Takeover, which needs a card built up in a hurry. Let’s get to it.

Not Everyone Can Be A Horsewoman

Really impressed with how much Carmella is improving. Each week she's in action, she shows noticeable improvement, which is kind of the point of NXT, eh?

Also cool to see Gargano and the Psycho Killer in a WWE ring.

That was an... odd episode.

Having 3 of the 4 Horsewomen of NXT called up to the main roster at once may have not been the greatest idea as these newer girls have a ways to go before being even close to being taken serious as a contender to Bayley's title.

The Izzy/Bayey stuff was pretty damn cool.

and on the tenth day of September, the Aussies invaded.....

Both of them looked fair enough. Agreed on appreciating the improvements of Carmella, Dana Brooke's improvement also is undeniable.

Fun tag maatch with Ciampa and Gragano....kinda odd having the other match in Rhode Island, but the crowd seemed appreciative of what they were seeing.

With the impending additions of Athena and Kana, our next generation of NXT womens wrestlers is coming along alright.
