Owens didn't do the piledriver because of the simple fact that the piledriver is a banned move (for good reason). We have only seen one piledriver in the past 5 years, and that was by CM Punk against Cena on RAW back in 2013 in the #1 Contender match (same match where Cena broke out a Hurricanrana).

It's not just worrying about Cena's neck, it's just too dangerous of a move to really ever do anymore.

This is an interesting time for NXT as one of their biggest stories isn’t taking place on NXT. Instead, NXT Champion Kevin Owens has been called up to the main roster and even defeated John Cena clean on pay per view in his debut match. It doesn’t help that he’s feuding with a bunch of people here in NXT as well. Let’s get to it.

When Sami was taken out by one move, in a match, and was immediately swamped my medical personnel, I didn't find it sympathetic - I just found it pathetic.

What's more, Kevin Owens is now NXT's ambassador on the main shows. I don't like the main shows, I do like NXT - am I supposed to boo the man who literally carries the brand on his shoulder?

At this rate, in a few months, the main shows will be largely comprised of former NXT superstars anyway. So nothing to worry about there.

What worries me is the potential lull in NXT action when 90% of said wrestlers leave & we are stuck with the leftovers. Starting to wonder though. When the hell will Tyler & Enzo\Cass get the call up?

While I appreciate the new shorts showing 4.78% more ass cheek on Alexa, its disappointing because her character now is not unique in any way. At least the fairy princess stood out.

As I've recorded in these very pages, Bliss is the most I've been disappointed in a character change in quite some time. I was happier when Leo Kruger became Adam Rose, i.e. still not very happy.

It's lunchtime at work and, like any forum user, I need to keep busy to fight my baser urges and keep myself from wanking in the toilet. Here's my all-time NXT top ten:

To give my in-depth business analysis of the Alexa Bliss situation: like, for real, do they have any idea how much little girls love princesses? Any fucking idea? Tell her to put that god damn tutu back on.

Alexa Bliss heel turn was fine. Gives Carmella a chance at being a face character and allows Bliss to hold back on her moves. We all know she is athletic and can hit some big moves but as a heel, she doesn't have to show many of them, allowing her time to develop/Train to wrestle smoothly. Bliss has major potential to be a captivating high-flier but she feels almost robotic in her execution.

With Bayley as the babyface who has the target audience for little girls, why do you need a second one? Keep the princess gimmick for later when Bayley is gone/gets called up to the main roster.

They should just let Leo go back to his previous gimmick. Being stuck between goth pirate and flamboyant party host is getting strange.

While we are at it, they should just let Eva go. She isnt going to get over no matter how much she trains. We are far too spoiled by the other better wrestlers to really care.

Eva is not going anywhere. When they see her and the possible marketing potential they jizz just a little bit. She is their cross over PR baby in the making.

Adam Rose fell flat, and never had a chance to be anything other than a comedy side show to begin with.

The crowd wants it badly, and the wrestler needs it, because the current character makes zero sense.
