It’s the go home show for Unstoppable, but it’s been clear that one of the only things that can stop NXT is the injury bug. Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami have jacked up their shoulders. Sami’s time on the shelf (if he’ll be out at all) has yet to be determined but Itami is looking at six to eight months. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Takeover card changes as a result of the injuries. Let’s get to it.

I'm not saying the Ascension are bad but they're by no means even close to the best team on the main roster right now. That being said it's quite sad to see what's being done with them.
Also Breeze has been looking great these past few weeks. Shame Hideo is injured, cause he was for sure winning that triple threat next week.

I wouldn't disagree. They were never anything special to begin with, but they never had a chance on the main roster. It's fine though, the superior teams are doing wonders right now anyway.

Balor vs owens vs breeze. This building is going to collapse. And I'm ok with going out like that. Balor entrance is fucking madness
The girl in front of me was clearly dragged by a significant other. She has done nothing but stare straight ahead sitting the entire show.
She must be miserable sitting in front of me.

Dillinger "perfect ten" gimmick has gotten over in about 2.5 seconds. Jason Jordan has Dillingers music, Dillinger now has his own music. I dont know what is happening or were I am right now.
Lot of heat for baron Corbin. Deafening "boring" chant...Lol and he is happily playing heel. "Same old shit" chant for Corbin who very purposeful in his reverse chin lock. Crowd doesn't realize how well they are being worked. Corbin just pinned ryno clean. Mega ton nuclear bomb heat. Aint been heat like this since #Nagasaki

Main event is Banks Vs Charolette. Crowd is going fuckin banana sandwhich, What planet am I on
Charolette does the Flair face flop and the building loses its fucking mind in glee.

Great night, funnest show ive ever been to. None of the matches were GREAT, but every one was good to excellent. Triple threat and Womens main event match both in the excellent rating. Show started with Enzo and Big Cass, and it sounded like a fucking bomb went off.
World title match was hilarious, as Owens set up a chair and propped his feet up wile Balor and Breeze worked for about 6 or 7 minutes with Owens watching. "Chill Owens Chill!!" chants ringing out. The ring and rails are on a stage, so stage level.....Balor threw owens over it all the way to the floor, then did a dive to the floor....So like an 8 foot drop, it was pretty nuts.
Charolette did something so crazy I cant even describe it properly. She gets up off the ground with Sasha on her shoulders in an electric chair, spins her around to a powerbomb position, Banks tries to hurracurana out, Charolette locks her arms to block, and pulls banks BACK UP to execute a powerbomb.
The girls main evented, and got 20 minutes. Spotfest, but a fever pitch throughout.
Best heat was easily Dana Brooke and Baron Corbin. Best pops were, in order

Enzo and Cass
Owens and Breeze got very rowdy receptions as well. Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch got respectable reactions. The former being pretty fucking impressive since it was a fairy princess gimmick in Philly.
Unfortunately, the venue seemed extremely overwelmed/unprepared. The parking situation was a mess, with no signs for how to get to the garage, and the sign for the garage obscured by a tree. I was taken to no less than three different places by three different staff workers when trying to find my seats. and, as said above, the venue ran out of food entirely by intermission.
Still a blast, fuck it
