It was something I read without a source on another forum. I'm sure the origin is "Wait, isn't Sami Zayn from Montreal?" Still, it's more likely than if they were in Dublin.

Having only seen the highlights, I assumed he'd hurt himself on the thread-the-needle-DDT. Why do the gods taunt us so?

The crowd starts an "Olé!" chant without being prompted. Then they start a "Sami Zayn!" chant, also without being prompted. It's not really about hating John Cena; it's about loving Sami Zayn. And I love you, Montreal.

Having Hart there felt excessive.

Zayn clearly injures his arm doing his entrance. I popped hard when he started pounding his shoulder and decided to carry on.

Cena oversold the shit out of that koji clutch.

The match is clearly affected by Zayn's shoulder but it just makes him that much more sympathetic.

I cannot believe Sami hit the blue thunderbomb.

Could they not throw on Sami's music for just a minute?

I might question some of Cena's bumping at times, but he cannot half take a painful looking DDT.

Im going to go with......that being the better outcome. Simply a freak accident, nothing that should concern anyone. Also has to be some kudos to him for banging out the entire match and still making it a solid one.

The only thing that could have made that whole thing better is after Cena leaves the ring, Owens jumps out of the crowd & hits Zayn with a pop-up powerbomb out of nowhere & then leaves telling Zayn he'll see him at Takeover.

1. Neville just showed up, and is in no way cemented

2. Kinda hurts the Takeover show, no?

3. Some post match or a more time given to really make the match great would have been better. Sami's in ring ability is whats going to sell him, so I wish he could have had a little more

I think he's not quite main roster yet - they were very much saying "Sami Zayn, big on NXT". I have an idea that they might bring them up together - have the takeover match end with the title being upheld or something and then have Zayn show up on Raw again, have Cena beat or MITB and be about to win before Owens comes and ruins it. Then you have the feud decider on pay per view, and it follows the Owens is always behind Zayn arc.
