The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

Lucha Dragons / Enzo and Cass.

Tag team division could use them, they would get over, and both have LONG sense been past the point were it makes any sense to not have them on the main roster.

NONE of the Divas, since in NXT they are looked at as women wrestlers, and on main roster they are....whatever the fuck they are. Reality TV stars who wrestle sometimes.

Jericho IS too big of a name for the model, but he would 1. be into it far more than anything else they got for him 2. Is good enough to make you forget it (through promo and ring work, he will get you to just see Jericho in an entertaining angle and match, not someone being someplace they shouldnt be)

If you had to choose three NXT talents to bring up post-WrestleMania, who would they be?

Neville and Charlotte. Call it an Ascension-like-ascension to the main roster. After extended, strong, and well booked title reigns, what is left for them at NXT?

Neville does indeed risk getting lost in the shuffle on the main roster, but at this point I fear he also risks getting lost in the NXT shuffle to a degree as well since there is nowhere else for him to go with NXT.

And for Charlotte it also seems like the meter has expired on her developmental parking space, and its time to see if she can transition to the main roster. She's also ready-made to be sold to the mass audience due to commentary being able to try and get her over by continuously reminding us who her father is, and after that her natural talent speaks for itself. She can improve the Diva's division if booked right(not that I have faith in creative, but I do have faith that she can defy the limitations put on Divas to at least some degree, much like Paige has).

And let's keep the theme, my third act is the Lucha Dragons; like Neville and Charlotte they held the belts, and don't seem likely to regain them anytime soon. Why not see if they can help flesh out the thin main roster tag division? Sin Cara is already a known entity who consistently moonlights back up on the big boy stage, and its time to start letting Kalisto flirt with the mass television audience to dip the proverbial toes in the water on his quest toward eventually attempting to fill the Mysterio void.

We’re still living in Kevin Owens’ NXT as he shows no sign of letting up soon. Last week he ran through former NXT Champion Adrian Neville, clearing more of the path to get to his showdown with Finn Balor. Other than that, we have the potential split of Carmella from Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, which might be well received by the NXT fans. Let’s get to it.

It Had To Happen Eventually

Is it just me or does Becky Lynch make anyone else feel extremely uncomfortable/awkward?

Something about her facial expressions, body language, the out of sync head-banging, just her overall demeanor is very odd.

She's good but it always seems like she's trying a little too hard. Whether it was the Irish stereotype or the punk rock chick that's a little played out in today's society. Regardless I liked her match with Bayley.

Owens is pretty great, shame we'll have to sit through a storyline with Riley as filler for the Balor feud.

Also glad Bull Dempsey is still losing matches. Also glad the hacker gimmick is continuing....for now at least.

Yeah, I don't mind her once the bell rings, but before and after, she just irks me.

She's overacting the gimmick and it has been affecting her matches too, because she feels like the needs to do that weird head banging thing all the time. At least she's cut down on it a bit the past couple weeks.

I was in pretty considerable pain for most of today, as well as being a bit feverish, so that may have coloured my opinion of this week's episode, which is:

That was OK.

TBK vs "Funky" Finn Balor was underwhelming. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Rest of the show was good. I really enjoyed the Riley and Steen stuff, and would have been happy for another 2 minutes of awkward and uncomfortable staring and commentary

Seeing Owens beat the living fuck out of Riley is gonna make me sooooo happy, it'll be fun watching him #FreeRiley of his ability ever do bad commentary again :evil3:

I just wanted to stop by and say YES. YES. THIS fucking show is the type of wrestling I love. I could not be more excited for the WWE's future. Kinda wish Vinnie Mac would hurry up and croak already so Haitch can book the main shows.

X is like the Undertaker, shows up once or twice a year, dissapears mysteriously only to return the same time next year.

Also, didn't Ricochet do a try out and they passed for whatever reason?

Tonight it’s time to get back to the serious business around NXT as Sami Zayn is making his first appearance after losing the NXT Title to Kevin Owens by referee’s decision. Owens is currently gearing up to defend against #1 contender Finn Balor, but it’s clear that another showdown with Sami is coming. Let’s get to it.

I don't know what hurt my soul more, them teasing an Emma heel turn or the fact that they had her be mean to Bayley to do it :(

I also squealed in happiness when I saw Sami. The things this show does to me...

That's called being a wrestling fan watching a good wrestling show. That's different than watching an entertainment show, or whatever WWE and Stephanie have branded (I hate that word) Raw as these days.
