Is the concern that Balor is totally outperforming Itami? If so, it's a concern I can understand.

As for managers, and as for armchair booking, Sylvester Lefort is pretty well disliked. That said, Itami's "I only know seven English phrases and they're all about how I'm going to kick you really hard" bit is actually quite endearing.

CJ Parker comes up: "Ric Flair! My goodness it's such an honor to meet you!"

Ric is nice and shakes his hand etc.

Parker: "It's so nice to finally meet a legend who sees things the right way."

Flair is a bit confused.

Parker: "I never thought I'd meet another Nature Boy. It's so good to see that it's not just the younger generation that sees how important it is to save the planet."

Ric looks at Parker like he has two heads and walks away.

Parker: "Such an inspiration." *big smile*

The next week, Parker is talking with someone and brings up Ric. The other person mentions the limousine riding and jet flying, much to Parker's chagrin.

The next week, Parker is shown watching Flair matches and promos (on the Network of course) and sees Flair's wasteful, extravagant lifestyle.

The next week, Parker calls out Ric and rips into him for hurting the planet and only thinking of himself. Flair comes out and says if Parker doesn't shut up, he'll come down to the ring and teach him a lesson. Charlotte comes out and says her dad can't do it, but she can. A referee comes down and Charlotte beats Parker in about fifteen seconds with Natural Selection.

Funny enough, after he improves for about a year, I think Parker and that gimmick have some decent staying power (in the Heath Slater role, obviously)

So NXT is leaving Florida for the first time since the rebranding to Full Sail Uni. It's going to Columbus, Ohio and the show is going to be outdoors. Interesting step forward.

I've considered travelling to the States for one of the live specials but I think even you lot might find that a bit... overenthusiastic. I should probably save the air miles for a Rumble or a WrestleMania.

CJ Parker has carved himself a little place in my heart, mostly because of when he broke Owens' nose (and his own hand).

To be fair Lifestyle Communities Pavilion(hard for me not to call it PromoWest) where this show is being held does convert to a much smaller indoor set-up as opposed to the outdoor pavilion which is mostly a decent sized patch of grass with no seating aside from a strip of concrete with a handful of patio tables.

Outside you could probably get a crowd of 4,000 - 5,000 people, but they would look like herded cattle. I'm not sure this will end up with the outdoor set-up though, as the indoor set-up would probably accommodate a more reasonable 1500-2000ish. Also early March in Columbus, Ohio is an odd choice for an outdoor show, there might have to be a snowman on the undercard.

Its not a bad venue though, I saw Jason Mraz there, and it was better than a lot of small time outdoor pavilion venues I've attended.

I am actually surprised a little thing like an ocean kept you from attending a few weeks back when Sami won the belt. I know it wasnt a guarantee he would, but we all knew who was walking out champion. It was the Kevin Steen ass kicking that most did not see coming.

I was in a really bad place when I watched this week's NXT. It's uncertain whether this week's show was a bit of a let down or if it was just me. The only thing I can remember thinking is that Sami Zayn had gained a bit of weight over Christmas. I should love him however he looks.

On a similar note, I'd rather get fucked by X-Pac on camera than have to watch another Baron Corbin versus Bull Dempsey match. Poor Mojo Rawley got much more stick for not being half as shit as those two.

Apparently Crimson participated in the WWE tryout camp in December. Would be cool to see him, he 100% would be better in the killer role than Corbin is.

Corbin needs to hurry up and become someones muscle / body guard in a tag team and grow experience that way.

That would work so much better than shitty 30 second squash matches. I also think facepaint or a mask would help conceal his shitty, gimmick-killing face. Not a lucha mask, but something like Kane or Mankind. Anything to take the attention away from him looking like a scared child while trying to be all intimidating and such.
