If you look at OVW and FCW champions, a whole bunch of the bastards ended up on the main roster. It's not really surprising, is it?

I maintain that my idea of having Zayn and Cesaro face The Ascension - with Zayn obviously taking the pin - is a great one. That's when you want to remind everyone just how badass The Ascension are, just before you bring in your next big tag team - if such a thing exists - to topple them.

Having them face Too Cool at whichever live special was a waste for that reason. They could've brought down Rybaxel or whomever the main roster tag team jobbers were at the time and had the Ascension beat them.

NXT is officially the only professional wrestling program that I watch on a weekly basis. It's entirely possible that I've not seen a full episode of Raw or SmackDown this year.

I'm sorry if you guys enjoyed the crowd this week - I had to have them all euthanized after the "What?" chants during Adrian Neville's promo.

"To be the woman, you've got to beat the woman" wouldn't be a bad catchphrase but it has... unfortunate connotations.

Speaking of teams to take on The Ascension, which I appreciate nobody was, apparently these scrawny, super-kicking bitches want to take a few YAHs:

Scott Dawson's return wasn't met with much fanfare, was it? A pity - I like Dawson. The Mechanic's theme (formerly just Dawson's) music is so very, very CAW though.

And a really good main event. Like, really good. A lot of fun to watch. Tyson Kidd's become one of NXT's more interesting characters, to the surprise of many, and the Full Sail arena ate up everything that he and Adam Rose put out there.

So Mojo/Bull earned the right to merely enter the first round of the tournament? How big is this thing? A surprise entry by, say, The Wyatt Family would tear the roof off the place. It'd be great - The Ascension sitting there, smirking, thinking, "Oh, this shit'll be easy." Suddenly, "Oh, shit."

Doesn't bother me so long as the match gets time. El Local/Kalisto vs Ascension was going to be a good match if not for Local's slow motion shitty offense so Sin Cara should be a good addition. On top of all that, Camacho/Hunico vs Ascension was a sweet power vs speed match and Kalisto is a hell of a lot better than Camacho and I liked Camacho. Give it time and let it be fun.

I like an Ascension squash as much as the next man. In fact, more so. Regardless of how ironically prolonged it might be. I was simply hoping for something... more tense. I appreciate we can't have fantasy booking all the time, but my Ascension/Wyatt Family or Ascension/Zaynsaro ideas were pretty solid, I thought.

However, I'm glad to see Sami in the main event, competing for the title. Perfectly placed to break my heart.

Bayley's just excellent and Charlotte's vast improvement is just confounding. That should be another great match.

I think this is the first time a "Worse Than Batista" chant has been done in Full Sail... and I've never seen the crowd so happy to see Bayley (and Sami Zayn - damn he's popular).

Big Cass' big boot is a nasty thing to look at. No Hogan-esque already dropping to the mat before the move gets hit, just a foot straight in the mush.

Eva Marie is painful to watch. Bayley helps.

There's few things I like to do more than watch Sami Zayn wrestle.

Colt Cabana once called the man we know as Tye Dillinger as one of the best heels currently going as he'd do everything and anything to get the face sympathy.

He did that in the match simply by pulling down his kneepad to cave Enzo's skull in. I like Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger, Jordan has that nice Kofi vibe to him.

Dagger Dias on NXT:

Both of them are better off in singles action honestly. Mojo would benefit more from this team than Sami would.... Sami does not need this at all. He's ready for a main roster promotion. I'd rather see him get moved up to the main roster than get held back by a team that's not really needed. Mojo would be fine without this team also, his gimmick works better for a singles run. If the team did form I'd like them more than current potential "threats" to the NXT Tag Team Championship such as the Sawft guys and The Vaudevillians (the latter who I consider one of the worst teams in WWE history) but I'm going to go with a no on this one as it would ultimately hold them both back in the long run.
