The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

Or O'Doyle. He could go around just saying "O'Doyle rules!" over and over again. At some point he and his family would crash a school bus off a cliff.

I think it's probably who Alex Riley is in real life, the prick. I'm even glad, in retrospect, that Kevin Owens beat Riley, even though Owens killed my hero and I hate him more than the first past the post voting system.

We’re on the road again with some matches taped for this year’s Wrestlemania Axxess weekend. For at least the last two years, there has been a ring set up on the Axxess floor for live matches, including some title defenses. Tonight we’re going to see some of those matches and maybe some from the well received house show the same weekend. Let’s get to it.

Let's Go Hideo!

They made Itami look like a star with this episode. That Neville match also proved he can be a fine heel in the future should they need him to be. His more slow style helped get Itami over in that match. It'll be interesting to see what Itami does on the next special after they've put all this time into him. Glad to see they've openly acknowledged the GTS and in a way have reclaimed it from Punk. Now to see how that eventually works out on the main roster.

You fucking bastards, you told me to start watching from September which means a) my school holiday schedule is now filled with wrestling and b) I am hopelessly in love with Bayley.

Next thoughts:

Charlotte is better than Ric Flair, this is now confirmed

I really like the Jersey Shore people

There was probably an instance once in which someone literally preached to a choir - otherwise there's probably never been a better example of someone preaching to the choir.

Where does NXT get off showing me a tournament to which the result is already widely known?

So CJP said himself, it basically was him wanting to go out and travel the world and do the worldwide indy scene like Zayn, Owens, Ohno, and Neville did. Wanted to get the experience, get that growth as a performer, and maybe come back later. He is only 25, so it was a good a time as any to do that. He can come back in 5 years with that experience and be a solid player.

I told you nobody that good could possibly be that thick. It seems that he was pretty much universally liked so hopefully the door will remain open.

This is almost too much for me to handle:

Watching this past week's show now, would have loved to see Itami and Neville get more time. Still a fun short little match. If Itami doesn't hit the fucking GTS on TV at some point soon though I'm going to become surly. That running dropkick finish just ain't cuttin' it son.

Also, Tyler Breeze is great. Just needs a wee bit more experience and he'll be one of the best.

If you haven't already, watch Tyler Breeze versus Sami Zayn for the no. 1 contendership at Takeover (i.e. the second live special). Alright, so having a great match with Sami Zayn is "wrestler made to look good by Daniel Bryan" levels of newsworthy, but it's still a hell of a match. The match that won me over to Tyler Breeze - versus Adrian Neville for the title on a weekly episode - is off the fucking chain. August 14, from a quick Google search.

But, hang on, Sami Zayn... and Bayley... and Tyler Breeze... and The Boss... had a match? I do declare, the vapours! The vapours!

Seriously, seeing those pictures made my day.
