The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

Hopefully Oney and Butch get more time for their rematch, maybe a match at Takeover. One of the few things I like more than a hoss match is a mean-guy match
They'll have one more match, then I would like to see them become a tag team. Once they get the belts off AoP they'd be good challengers (and I suspect AoP will get called up soon).

Despite being Dutch, Black is my favoured BritWres representative. Burch is a bit too World of Sport for my tastes, and not in the fun Jack Gallagher way.

The way Black sets that kick up is glorious. He had me at hello.

Let's all just copy/paste Sam's post on it so its truth can ring louder than the noise in Bobby's skull.

Oh, and he can add 50% more kicks before the big one & it still wont touch the ridiculous amount of overuse Okada has given his shit clothesline.
I always wonder how good Rainmaker will become if Okada uses the discus version.

It most certainly does not. Moose's wrist clutch is rendered completely useless by letting go and then the delay as he spins from the discus lariat.

The whole point of the wrist clutch is to spin your opponent round and drag them towards you at pace to increase the impact of the short clothesline. The discus spin takes all of that away.

The two things just do not go together well at all.

With less than a month to go before Takeover: Brooklyn III, it’s time to start getting things ready for the biggest show of the year. We already have the NXT Title match set as Drew McIntyre will challenge Bobby Roode for the title but we need a bit more than that to fill out a card. Let’s get to it.

First Train to Brooklyn

Oney is without a doubt my favorite in NXT right now. There's a backstage interview with him and some generic interview chick regarding his rematch with Burch and it's wonderful

It's at like 4:25 approximately

Good solid show.

Hideo/Ohno was amazing and the theme of the night was building storylines.

Ember/Tapa fantastic, Drew was solid on the mic. Velveteen/Bono(a)I build both.

But the highlight for me was that Sanity jump first eliminating the jobbers and then getting beat up.

Great show.

With just over two weeks to go to before Takeover: Brooklyn III, it’s time to get some things moving. We already have a lot of the card set so now we can focus on building up what’s already announced and set up some other stuff. Tonight the main focus seems to be on Aleister Black, who currently doesn’t have a match for the big show. Let’s get to it.

Back to Black

I like that Sanity looks like an actual threat to AoP now.

Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan should have an Ironman match for their rubber. I'd very much enjoy it.

I'm kinda interested in Almas now, but mostly for his manager.

With just two shows to go before the biggest show of the year, it’s time to really push home the main event and that’s what we’ll be doing this week. Tonight NXT Champion Bobby Roode will be in the ring with Drew McIntyre for a showdown, as well as getting ready for everything else we have on tap for Brooklyn. Let’s get to it.

And That's A Good Thing
