The problem with Breaking Ground is that while it completely breaks kayfabe it still tries to make you think wins aren't pre-determined.

Yeah I read he requested it as well. His whole style really wasn't a match for the WWE, he's like a punk rock Bruiser Brody brawling type who shouts obscenities, not exactly a style conducive to translating into the WWE style.

They really didn't even give him a chance though. When's the last time he was on TV? They didn't do anything with him other than a couple of quickie promos and matches, did he even have a feud at all? Very forgettable run.

Best for him really. Can probably make just as much if not more money on the indies than he was in NXT and they clearly had no plans for him ever coming to the main roster or even getting a push in NXT. I don't think Ambrose had anything to do with his hiring though, he had a lot of buzz on the indies when they signed him up, he had a few matches in EVOLVE with Fit Finlay that were just brutal and highly praised.

The Full Sail fans just do not like Eva no matter what she does and it’s going to be quite the moment if she takes the title from the most popular act in NXT. Let’s get to it.

Good show. I liked the contract signing, it was nice seeing something different after all the signings they do on TV with the long promos.

Matches were fine, I enjoy Dash and Dawson and as much as I'd like to see Enzo/Cass take the belts, I'd also really enjoy The Mechanics vs Gable/Jordan and have Enzo and Cass move up (their promos with the New Day could be pretty entertaining).

I would have liked seeing what Sorenson could do as I never saw him since he was out with the neck injury when I was able to watch TNA because it was on Spike, however the match was about Crews so him getting the heel jobber offense was also fine.

Wrestling-wise, Bayley/Eva wasn't all that great but I enjoyed the story as had I not read the spoilers, I probably would've bought into the near-falls and I would've been thoroughly entertained by the aftermath of Eva getting the upset win.

Overall a fine show. Nothing awful, advances were made in the storylines, and I kinda liked the women's match.

I'm glad the Solomon Crowe experiment is over. I don't think I've ever seen a more "small time" wrestler ever.
