So this was before I started watching wrestling... I started in 1999, but I know plenty about it...

What I don't understand about The Montreal Screwjob... is why did it have to take place?

Why would Bret Hart honestly think he can go to WCW with the WWE Championship?

It shouldn't have needed to happen in my eyes... Bret Hart should have laid down with a smile on his face and a thanks for letting me be WWE Champion, Vinnie.

Instead he spits in the man's face? Vince should have spit in his face....

Someone care to set me straight on this matter? Or do I have a valid point?

Was Bret Hart's ego truly that big that he wouldn't drop the title?

90 day no compete clauses didn't exist yet.

Vince saw it differently.

Bret refused to do that.

If you got screwed over like he did you probably would have to.
