could this really be any more of a boring match. Neither are any good on the mic and we have seen this before. Who cares? Its like seeing undertaker vs kane...again. Are they going for a bret vs owen. Except the I willnot fight my brother this time lasted 2 weeks. Who cares about this match.

Im willing to say quite a few people considering Jeff is over as hell and matts drawing a fair bit of heat, this Feud is anything but boring

This should be a fun match that is just spot after spot after spot after spot until the match ends. I don't expect to see any kind of psychology in this match, and to be honest I would be slightly disappointed if there is some. I am anticipating a match where Matt and Jeff just beat the crap out of each other until the other can't kick out. I'm glad it is extreme rules because it is giving the fans what they want to see; the Hardy's just doing rediculous spots without caring about what might happen to them. I agree that the build up has been less than stellar, but it is still good enough. I predict Matt walking out as the winner.

Im ordering wrestlemania for this reason.Ive been a longtime fan of the hardys so this extreme rules match will be great with spot after spot.This match is going to have little to no science in it.Although I think matt will win I think both brothers shake hands and become faces again so all in all i think this match will be a 8.5 on the scale.
Then i think your obviously quite mad.
Why would Jeff shake Matts hand so soon after basically admitting that he burned his house down and killed his dog?

For those who are very disappointed about tha Extreme Rules. Well...Wrestlemania is not for marks, smarks, or watever, its about giving the fans what they want. I really cant imagine what the match without ladder, table, etc. And for those who are worrying about Backlash, you can just have a tag team match. My personal favorite match going into Backlash would be Edge and Matt Vs. Christian and Jeff.

The build-up hasn't been a horrorshow, it's been alright, but the worst thing is that people are already moaning about what will happen after Mania regarding these two. MAN UP! Enjoy tonight's match, it is likely to be a pretty decent match I'd imagine, maybe with a swerve, who knows. We'll see what unfolds after Mania, YES??!!?

The Hardys will put on quite a good one here, in what is probably the second best match on the card. It's been done before, but not when anyone gave a shit about either of them individually, so this shoud be quite good. Realistically, they should have Matt go over because Jeff doesn't need it and it would set up the obligitory ladder match at Backlash far more easily.
However, the WWE are unlikely to do that, and would much prefer to put Jeff over, and so Jeff is my pick for the win here.

Jeff Hardy v Matt Hardy - Of course this family affair is a tough one to call, but I have a hunch that Matt will go over Jeff tonight. Like I said, there could be a slight swerve in there somewhere, too, but if not I can see the match ending with Jeff attempting a Swanton Bomb off a ladder or something and Matt moving, then finishing him off.
Don't get the negativity surrounding this, it was done before yes... in 2001! It should be a cracker if given enough time, and they hopefully will use weapons to beat the hell out of each other, because that is what both men want to do to one another going off the build-up.

Matt Hardy beats Jeff Harvey - It wouldn't make sense for Jeff to win this early in the feud. Matt will probably win by some heelish shenanigans like saying sorry, and that he is Jeff's brother, then turning on him.
I liked this match. The story behind it is one that can never fail, and it started out well. The commentary bothered me a little. "Has there ever been a brother versus brother feud at WrestleMania with so much meaning?"

The ending of the match I loved. The middle is where it fell apart. They used tables, ladders, and chairs simply because we though they would. There was no purpose behind it.

I'm glad Matt won. Jeff is already so over with everyone that it allowed Matt to actually shine. It's just unfortunate that this match was so short. I believe that the Hardy's would have been a serious contender for Match of the night if it was given much more time.
Think about what the Hardy's have done in the past Extreme/Hardcore/Ladders/Tables etc. Matches. Now add the fact that they are brothers who would always protect each other, plus the fact that its wrestlemania and they could've had a simply breathtaking match full of daredevil-ism and spot after spot.

Anyways.... this match was great. Seeing great spots from both Hardys in person was awesome. The best was Jeff going through Matt in between the tables. Matt got the win he needed, but as others have pointed out.... this match deserved to be just a little longer.

I mean, besides the last two moves of the match, what was memorable about this? nothing. very cookie cutter. Kendo stick here, table splash there. meh, so what, ive seen it. I think possibly my expectations were far too high for this, as I had thought we were going to see something truly special out of these guys, and I was left very highly uninspired. Oh well. it was fine, not real good, not real bad. 7/10
