The length of WWE title reign's

I like long title reigns but not too long. Guess we are stuck with short title reigns until we stop getting PPVs thrown together every 3 weeks. Which is why these PPVs are so bad. Only way Vince is gonna get the message is to not go to PPVs or order them on TV. Get the buy rates to fall off the table. Buy only the top 4 ppvs, Rumble, Wrestlemania, Slam, and Series. The only ones that are worth it. All the rest are a waste of money.

The long title reigns are the most important to the value of a championship. When you have someone hold a title for a long time, it makes them losing that belt more credible. Hogan held the title for years and when he was finally beaten by the Ultimate Warrior, it was off the charts crazy. Same goes for Flair. His reigns were months on end. I think from 1983 to 1989, he managed to lose the belt three times as far as I can remember. Ronnie Garvin, Dusty Rhodes, and Ricky Steamboat were the ones to beat him. And when they did, it was a spectacle.

As annoying as it seems these days for a certain wrestler to have a good long reign with the title, it's good for the wrestler, the prestige, and the event which the title change. finally happens. The length of the title reigns recently shows you the quality of wrestling we've been having as of late. Not too good.

Edge 9 reigns in 4 yrs that is pathetic.

The rock had 9 title reigns in 4 years...and he is without doubt one of the biggest names that professional wrestling has ever seen.

Look I think that WWE is getting to short with title reigns but in the eyes of their key demographic, that being the little kiddies, it doesn't matter in the least. They love to see the title change and they love to hear that their hero is a nine time champ.

When the kids start complaining then Vince might start paying attention.

Just My Opinion

I don't even think the kids would like John Cena if he had the title for a year again anybody deal with kids everyday ? I do and they like changes they like movement and can't sit still they get bored easily and will sour on things that keep getting fed to them.

I like John Cena I just don't like the way he is booked actually I don't like the way anybody is booked. Cena is a great talent I just don't like his underdog role still how is a 7 time world champion an underdog ? That's like saying the Steelers are perennial underdogs it's irrational.

John Cena is a great performer and talent and I have said that for a long time not liking a talent's booking and the talent himself are to different entities.
