The Great Khali- The Next Big Thing or the Next Kurgen?

I'm sure that many of you can't help but tune in to see The Great Khali's Kiss Cam week in and week out on WWE programming (it sorta shifts back and forth between RAW and Smackdown). Now seeing it, the crowd has kinda gotten into it and they cheer and participate and stare ghoulishly at this spectical. But every time I see it, I can't help but think back to when the WWF turned the monster 7 footer Kurgen into the 7 foot rastafarian freak with the Oddities. And that was a major bust for the WWF.

So my question is this. Do you think that the Great Khali is getting over with his new gimmick or do you think that he is getting buried?

I actually think it is working as he is getting move over as a face by the week. I find his new character entertaining but I can't see him winning the WWE Title with it.
