The FCW thread

I've never seen a counter like that before and I completely didnt expect it. Thats why I marked out so much.

I didnt realize Richie was in the air too. I thought it was just like the spot that Cena and Batista did. The fact that Richie was in the air too does add to it.

They were both in the air

That could have gone wrong. Badly.

This thread hasn't been posted in since yesterday. That means I must bump it in a productive manner. Good matches it is then. Enjoy Kaval vs Justin Gabriel peeps.

FCW has never been consistently uploaded to youtube. the guys who upload the episodes get their episodes from the same sourse I believe and he's not exactly frequent with putting episodes up for download. There have been periods this year where there were months between uploads.

Tyler Black ftw! Thanks for the video Doc :D Can someone who reads Harry Potter tell me if the name of that super kick was from that book? I'm pretty sure it is but I'm totally positive as I have never read the books. It pretty funny that he takes a page out of Harry Potter though to name his finisher :lmao:

I was hoping he would employ 2 successive superkicks as his finisher like the one he did to Austin Aries to win the title at ROH but I guess it's not meant to be. Oh and we probably won't see the buckle bomb form Tyler anymore huh? Not safe enough for the WWE probably.

Yeah, Avada Kedavra/The Killing Curse is from Harry Potter, and I marked when I heard that was his finisher name

So does that give him or lose him respect in the locker room and with the fans if he keeps the finisher name when he goes up to one of the main brands?

Well he's not exactly going to be bucklebombing Vance Archer is he? ALso there are some parts of more recent FCW episodes up (like Doc posted) but no full episodes yet.

I just don't see him doing it to anyone really- big or small. I could be wrong of course. I've never seen the move done in the WWE and with E's policy on safety, maybe the bucklebomb proves too dangerous. I hope not though.

I don't know about anyone else, but if a bucklebomb is what I think it is (i.e. a powerbomb throw making the opponent land back furst onto the turnbuckles) then I've seen Shelton Benjamin do it on WWE TV.

And according to his formspring, he does the bucklebomb to opponents "sometimes".

He needs to keep his finisher name when he gets called up to the main roster.

and the FCW announcer is beyond atrocious. WWE needs to learn that they'll never find another Lilian Garcia. Not trying to be sexist but male announcers are just better.

Can't see him keeping God's last gife either. Bit much of a headbump to be consistently safe with shitty workers.

Since there's no full shows to put up, I figured I'd go for a houseshow match. Just so you know though, the cameraman is a cunt. I watched the video muted because of him and advise you to do the same. Good match though, despite the tit holding the camera.

UPDATE: I can't find the 17th of October full episode on youtube. I can find the Oct 24th and 31st episodes though, so I'll put them up here.

Wow, Richie is really good and I loved his finisher he did on Black.

Hope Tyler is brought up to the main roster soon because I have seen some of his work in ROH and he's excellent. Would Richie be able to get over with his father's name, because he doesn't seem to have much charisma?

Same. I'm not quite sure what to call it (he seems to do a jackhammer, but instead of powerslamming the opponent normally, he somehoww appears to elbow his opponent in the sternum)

if there's an NXT4, they're both prime candidates along with Johnny Curtis. And If we're honets, Ricky Steamboat wasn't exactly Mr Charisma himself. He's fun as fuck to watch in the ring, and that should be enough combined with a push and good oppoents to get him to midcard levels of overness.

Also, in good fun I'm developing a Richie Steamboat drinking game. The rules I've got so far:

Every time Richie does an armdrag, take a drink
Take another if he transitions it to an armbar.
Every time Richie does a chop off the top rope/a elevated position, take a drink
Every time Richie does a double chop, take a drink
Every time the commentators mention his father, take a drink.

Anybody got any sensible rules to add?

Thanks for the videos Remix. The Phoenix Splash will probably be scrapped. His little promo got me wondering also: What's Seth Rollins' gimmick gonna be?

What are your thoughts on the six FCW stars called up for NXT 4? Do you think any of them are the right choice, or would you have chosen somebody else?

I think they're saving those guys for Season 5. If so, it'll be awesome.
