The Euro Trash!!!

Prince Vee

Better than I think I am
As we've been seeing lately, King Barrett had found some alliances with his neighbouring acquaintance, Mr.Money in the Bank, Sheamus! And more recently Barrett had mentioned about his fancy in forming a tag team. This probably could work.

Barrett and Sheamus are great competitors in the ring and Sheamus is a heel magnet whereas Barrett can be an enchanter to the crowd with his mic skills. Mind you his mic skills are pretty much underrated. They both got a tad similar fighting style and strikings. They could be a formidable tag team.

Yes, indeed the tag division is flooded with many superstars but this can provide a variety. They don't need to chase the titles but can ambush and show their dominance.

With the UK tour nearing by, this tag team can be easily garnished and harnished. They certainly will get over with the crowd and that momentum can be carried forward for many great things.

What do you think about this idea? Give your verdicts! Feel free to debate! Let's start, shall we Mateys!?

I like the idea of Sheamus and Barrett as a team, it's a team I've wanted to see for a few years though I'd be a little more optimistic about their future if Sheamus wasn't Mr. MITB. The fact that he is gives this alliance, providing it lasts beyond the few weeks we've already seen, more of a placeholder type of feel until they're ready to position Sheamus to a more ideal situation to cash in his briefcase.

Agreed. When the company had Sheamus win the briefcase, rumors held that he might be headed for the main event. This plan seems to have changed and the Fella is going nowhere.

So, why not let him fail at cashing in.....and team him with Barrett. Their 'British Isles Connection' and the notion that ineffective singles performers are often paired to give them a little oomph suggests these guys could make a good team ....with the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.

Really, Sheamus & Barrett are too good to flounder on the midcard....and this could be just what they need.

I think the OP has too much time on his hands and needs to get a life. Currently, he starts threads on a wrestling forum (fake) to cover his shortcomings with women and in real life. SMH....

No one cares about you troll.

I like the pairing, but I'm leary of WWE casting them as the foreign heels. "Oh no! Foreign heels!" At least Rusev now represents the actual country he hails from. This isn't going to be interesting if it focuses on the fact that they're all Europeans.

This is that European stable that we've seen on message boards time and time again, except Cesaro and Mcintyre aren't involved (the other tossed around names). When New Day came out, most of us with a head recognized that race had to be the farthest thing from their focus.

Look at them now, they're the toast of the majority of us. WWE might be following that model that started this generation with the Shield. Putting performers together intrinsically ties their careers together, causes them to work together and challenge each other, plus creates a sense of nostalgia in the future when the performers collide.

It's a simple thing really. Who doesn't love factions (Except X Factor, no one loved X Factor). New Day have improved vastly and gotten over, why not Sheamus, Rusev, and Barrett.

Despite being a three time world champion and current MITB holder, Sheamus has struggled to get himself over (his personal grooming on the other hand). Barrett has stop started innumerable times (hyperbole, I know), and Rusev is coming off this dud Lana angle, so why not put them together and see if lightning strikes?

I have major reservations but I could see it working. I still feel that Rusev will turn face when Lana returns, setting him up to feud with his current allies. The need to avoid the mean foreigner thing and focus on the characters of these competitors, not letting them simply be defined by nationality.

Change the gimmick back to Bad News Barrett and the duo of sheamus and bnb would be an awesome addition to the tag division.... both are very good brawlers but are inconsistently booked..... so why not?

And you don't have too much time on your hands, answering said threads on a wrestling forum. Methinks this is a bit of a pot calling the kettle black.

Anyway on topic. I said this on another thread. The fact that Sheamus holding that briefcase, pretty much negates any tag team he wanted to be a part of. Mind you it doesn't look like he's going to cash it in anytime soon, and the best thing they could do is have him lose it in match. That would free him up to tag up with Barrett. I like Barrett, hate Sheamus, so I don't really know how I feel about this team should it happen.
