The Corre-Worst Faction Ever

Barrett WAS The Nexus. It has the same exact idea as the first Nexus. The rest of the guys are puppets for Punk. But it wasn't the first "Puppet Master" was it? No. They are playing the EXACT role they did for Barrett, for Punk.

Just because there are guys from the Nexus in The Corre, doesn't support your argument if it is a different faction. They do not do the same things Nexus did. The Nexus was about a takeover for the most part. The Corre is supposed to be 4 equal components to a group, with zero to do with Nexus, besides they have members that were also in Nexus.

They do the same old beatdowns, the same guy's getting the most ring time and they're still about taking over their brand. That's a ripoff if ever I saw one.

I get what you are saying Remixie Steamboat. But, I disagree. I also disagree with you if you think The Corre is the worst faction ever. If you do not, then we have that in common.

It's not the worst faction ever. I just disagree with your reasoning for why it's better than the LWO and BWO.

Barrett, leader or not. Is one of the hottest up and comers out there and is in The Corre. I think there were much more pointless and most of all, WORSE factions in the history of wrestling. There were groups put together for no reason at all... At least The Corre have an angle to support their existence.

LOL... Sounds about right. I look at it differently. I see them as a group of guys trying to get over, and banding together to have some numbers. Barrett, Gabriel & Slater have the Nexus tie. I don't get how Ezekiel came out of nowhere, though he did switch to SD right about the same time.

A spin off of Nexus yes. Especially because of the obvious. There are guys from Nexus in the group, they are a group, and Barrett is the most over member of the group. I say, give it time. They only have a short time of existence. I think the more time goes by, the less they will resemble Nexus.

I am not saying your argument is stupid or anything like that. I just see the group differently. Nexus, no matter what version of the group, always seems to be there to serve their leader. The Corre is supposed to be 4 "core" guys of WWE.

Maybe I just want it to be different more than anything. Only time will tell though. It could go either way. Maybe The Corre will end up being a cheap imitation of Nexus with recycled story lines, or maybe they will be an innovative group that ends up making some noise.

Same thought here. I think the only reason it happened is because they want the two groups to face each other at Mania. Possibly with the stipulation that the losing group would disband. I atually like the sound of that.

I like the Corre better than I did when it started. I liked who was in it, don't get me wrong, but I hated the idea of a "Smackdown Nexus" plus the name. I guess it's kind of grown on me now and I can tell you that the reason is Barrett. I just like the guy, he's great on the mic and pretty good in the ring for a big fella. I also like Slater and Gabriel as a team. I think they're one of the few couple guys that have been put together that actually worked.

As for the subject of the gear? Sucks. It's pretty ******ed looking. a t-shirt that has

written in huge letters diagonally down the front w/the logo as the "O". Wow. And then the little logo on the back. Whooopeeee, I'm rushing off to wweshop.com as we speak.

What they should have went with was the logo surrounded by electricity, or lightning, or what have you on the front in the middle of the shirt, maybe even branching the lightning or electricity off across the whole of the shirt (in moderation) and even onto the sleeves, and on the back across the shoulders the words "The Corre" w/the logo in the "O". Much better idea IMO. Keep it simple, yet accessible. That's why Nexus' logo worked.

As to the thread, I would have to say not the worst faction ever. I think they have potential to be a major factor on Smackdown. Will they be as popular or original as the Nexus? Nope. But I think they can serve a purpose.

And number one, what's wrong w/the BWO? (<-----deliberately looking up at his avatar...)

Number two, the LWO kicked ass for one reason. La f'n Parka, the chairman of the WCW.
(The music goes along perfectly w/the clips. If he had this for his theme music he could be the top face of any company. La Parka rules.)

A team like 3 Count is probably worse than The L or B, WO. But they were an alternative to The Corre being the worst.

My only true angle to any type of argument was that they aren't the worst Faction ever...

Also, others that can be considered worse than The Corre are: X Factor, Los Boricuas, and The Job Squad are a few examples of worse Factions, but that is my opinion.

There might be some people that think The Job Squad OWNED. I don't...

All the more backing to my point. I didn't say I didn't like them at all. I said they are a worse Faction then The Corre. I never said they didn't know what they were doing with the BWO. Everyone knew it was a rip off, as you said. All the more reason for it to be considered not as good, as The Corre.

They've only been around what a few weeks now? hardly long enough to get into a major storyline. Just give it a month or two people and then come back with the They suck comments (if they in fact do suck)
